Yeah I once managed to beat Duran's story with my characters in their first class change. My usual team is Kevin, Duran and Lise/Hawk. I don't like using Carlie or Angela since they rely too much spells and using those too often just slows shit down.
...Let's see how good I am at guessing your preferred classes.
Kevin: Death Hand
Duran: Lord
Lise: Star Lancer
Hawk: Nightblade
I guess that's a good point about Carlie...just an MT heal light is all you need for healing, really, and quite a few people can get that. Idk about Angela, havent played this in forever, so I'm not sure how spell damage balances out for all the time it takes...But it wouldn't surprise me if Kev has her beat in damage output.

Yeah I think Kevin beats her in damage output but I'm not sure on that, either way, lots of spells still accumulates to lots of time wasted. As for MT healing, I leave that to Lise using Poto Oils, it's good enough.
Yeah, Fiegmund was definitely one of the easier God-Beasts, and quite possibly the easiest (and believe me, I was nowhere near my second class change by then). The authors of the other two videos of this battle on YouTube seem to agree.
Even with characters that haven't reached the 2nd class set, it's possible to beat him quickly before he hides from physical attacks.
