Now these are the kind of toys we should want for our kids. it gets them into using their imagination andshows them how to construct things. maybe he or she will grow up to be an engineer ro an architect because of these things.
"As Micropolis grows so does your child's imagination....Nevermind that pesky hollow feeling you have in your wallet from shelling out all the dough for that imagination improvement."
@spadehatesscrewtube: Some kids are and will be. Just don't expect any encouragement to come from purveyors of popular product. It can turn around, as long as we don't leave it to them and their kind.
kids will never be this creative again, and thats not even saying much this was prefab. legos, linkin logs, and bristle blocks encouraged more thoughtful process.
I loved this set. The biggest toy I ever owned as a kid. How a days they wont make toys like this. to many small parts that might get swallows. I feel sorry for my kids.
I remember when these toys where out the show Star Blazers was very big. The Micronaut peices resembled the ships on Star Blazers and many kids used them for that.
LOL @0:25 the announcer says " so HE can.." Now a days some liberal douche bag would try to sue the company for not including girls. I swear this PC shit in this country has to go.
Whoa, I barely remember this commercial and had one of those sets when I was 5. My dad was a douche and never put it together for me, I was too young to do it myself...

I didn't know any girls who played with Micronauts when I was a kid.

Micronauts were so cool. They were toys that inspired imagination. Now all kids want to do is play videogames.

@rush1er Err, HOW CAN YOU SUE A COMPANY FOR MAKING A GENDER-SPECIFIC COMMERCIAL, YOU FUCKING IMBECILE?
Doll commercials for example always talk about girls playing them, even today.
Go vote for Michele Bachmann, she'll ask God to correct the situation for you.
