well i have a monitor that i hook up to my laptop via HDMI... then a little window pops up and asks you if you want to use this external monitor...and after that i just plugged in the key board and mouse and i was set!
when you have Xbox on are there any black bars/ slight blur due to it being a 1920*1200 native and Xbox at 1920*1080 ? As ive heard other monitors when not played at Native res can blur slightly.
no i haven't noticed any black bars, or ant blurring... This monitor has been great for gaming and never gave me any problems. I have it hooked up with the xbox and it is flawless
im not sure what XviD videos are but if your talking about converting videos then they do look good...but it all depends on what quality you convert the videos to.

XviD is a video codec. Commonly used on .avi files for TV shows and Movies downloaded via torrents etc

Nah... the HDMI port on the laptop is just for video and aduio out... so you cant plug the xbox into it and play like that...

anyway. get yourself the new
"Batman Arkham Asylum" for the Xbox 360. great game. I know u'll love it. do a searce on youtube for vids on the game.
