Alot of the volume issues coming from the recording equipment used. I broke it down on a download I have, I had the chance to redo it on a program I use on a daily basis to do checks on a band of my buddies to make sure all the hits are hitting about at the same time. To make sure the timing is correct. Everything looks good so far. Get a new recorder. Try to find one that doesn't auto noise cancel. That's what I think the issue is on this recording! Not bad, the sets you used seem a bit "off". Well hard to explain but I think you know what I mean, but otherwise it's pretty nice :)
