This trailer looks great! I really want to see this film, but can not find a local theater to watch it in. The powers at be, may want to bash Madonna, but they need to face the truth, this is a wonderful film, and will probably win an Emmy.

I kind of wish Madonna had directed this film secretly, then released it under a pseudo name. I am sure most of the hate directed towards this movie is because people want to bash Madonna.

Anyway I was already excited to see this film, but the documentary have me hope for the "present" storyline which I don't have much hope for.

I have to disagree qith the most approved comment here. Madonna's work it's been nominated for Academy's Award before, and even so she has won also! I remember the year Titanic was the big winner movie, Evita's song "You must love me" beated "my heart will go on" as the best song. I remember her performance and she was a goddess between a bunch of boot lickers infatuated with Celine's song. Don't missunderstand me. I love Celine, but "you must love me" is a materpiece! Love!

Madonna is trully unique. She is a great singer, actress, producer, etc...

Everything she does has passion. Even when you don't like something she's done you cannot deny the quality of her work and the fact that she does it as perfect as it is possible to be.

I had not seen this behind the scene before .... loved it and definitely will see the movie.

As for the Academy ..... who cares!!!! They have snubbed some of the best. Sometimes I wonder if they have a clue.....

I was so sad not to see her on the Oscar shortlist for best song. I really thought that 2012 would be Madonna's year to win an Oscar. I am so sick of the Academy snubbing her. She has won Golden Globes and Grammys for her work in film, but doesn't even have a nomination from the Academy! If the Academy does not nominate her movie for an award this year, I will not watch the ceremony nor will I support the films that win. Enough is enough!

W.E. was beyond what i expected. I totally did not expect it to be such masterpiece, it really blew me away. Everything about this film impressed me from the costume, the lighting, the cast, but most importantly the the accuracy of the story and how Madonna was able to show a different side of the story.

Was privileged to see this at an advance screening @2months ago. I believe the film has been re-edited. That being said , the cut I viewed was actually really well done and beautifully shot. Everything from art direction, cinematography, costumes and soundtrack are stunning. Pleasantly surprised after hearing the early reviews out of Venice. Clearly the promotion (aka posters, trailers etc.) have been reworked for the better. For M's second movie, it's pretty well done. Critics are wrong
