Her voice is like audial rape. Her face like a beardless Osama Bin Laden. The only thing visually acceptable with her is her hair, and thats probably fake.
I think you people commenting in this site are all prejudiced. Ann Coulter is a lovely spokesperson for the MtF transgender and borderline community, and her surgery was really successful. She is a lovely lady now, and she is quite capable in making fairly lucid statements. I'd say leave Ann Coulter alone, at least she is out there not hiding her past and the neurological challenges she faces. Give this poor woman a break; it isn't easy to live heavily medicated on anti-psychotics.
@KhanneaSuntzu oh, I really thought she couldn't afford to complete reassignment surgery and was living live half-way. You're right, it can't be easy for her to live with herself like that. Poor thing.
Ann Coulter having a three minute conversation about why she's been banned and how that's unfair, and how Hannity saying things about it being unfair. Then they go on about how liberals say they're victims when they are in fact the bullies. Lovely irony there Fox News... Stewart makes an awesome montage out of your strange strange idiocies.

My point re: unemployment comp is this: without it, housing prices would be down to a fraction of what they are today, and when it starts running out housing prices will start to drop dramatically and eventully the bottom will drop out. That's all due to pure market forces. Your $180K house will be worth $40K regardless of your own personal debt circumstances.
@plynth2 Hey, YOU SAID THIS, "for instance, it was probably cause the housing market to collapse." FACT is, the housing market collapsed when unemployment was UNDER 5%! Before unemployment ROSE! WHY is that point SO important? Because the financial collapse is the most important economic event in the last 80 yrs, and you havent a clue WHY it happened, a clue as to the order of the events. Knowing WHY the economy is ruined is of the UTMOST importance. (if you want things better, or give a shit)
@luvcheney1 In other words, you would rather not continue with our discussion re: your list of gov't programs that will make lazy non-workers accumulate $180K in wealth and "win" like you. In can certainly understand why. You would rather revisit the events of 4 years ago for some reason.
@plynth2 Most important economic event in 80 yrs is not interesting. OK, YOU see economic good from Govt giving $300 week unemployment check. Me too. I see economic damage as well, because Govt MUST TAKE $300 from somewhere else in the economy, doing damage, to do that. NET ZERO. Plus/minus. If rich guy pays $300 more tax for this, he no longer spends $300 at fancy dinner, and waitress, valet, cook, dishwasher, produce co, meat co suffer, etc. That is bad, offsetting the good. NOTHING CHANGED!
@luvcheney1 So you are only interested in saving jobs that cater to the spending habits of wealthy individuals. There are far more jobs worth saving that a wealthy individual are not in a position to hire. How many electrical engineers are wealthy individuals going to hire? None. There are many other highly skilled workers who the wealthyl never hire. Unemployment works well to stabilize the housing market and millions of households (not just cooks and waiters).
@plynth2 If Obama taxes $300 from me, to give to you, THAT "stimulates" the economy? Bullshit! Now I cant spend it, and that is a negative, offsetting your check, a positive. I guess we should focus on the "good", and ignore the reality of the negative??
@luvcheney1 The good is that it keeps your $180K home from dropping to $40K because all those people who are not being foreclosed upon. Not a bad return on your $300 tax payment. Teh good far outweighs the negatives. Don't think so small.
@plynth2 Please explain how the average unemployment check in Ca of $300 week, which is less than minimum wage, pays a mortgage. How? Without eating? Electricity? Why not just skip the unemployment check, and let folks get jobs at the car wash, picking strawberries, washing dishes at Dennys, where they can make the same money as unemployment? Then, the economy would just support legal Americans, instead of legal Americans on unemployment, and illegals doing jobs they dont feel like?
@luvcheney1 That $1200 a month is a good chunk of change when a spouse loses his or her job. $300 a week is not a maximum - I know of some who get $470 a week because they lost high paying jobs. If both lose their jobs, that is a disaster for them. An individual who gets $300 a week had a relatively low paying job and so would have a lower mortgage. Some also have savings that they can combine with it and get by.
@luvcheney1 Why is it that you think that anything to help the little guy is a waste of money and is loaded with negatives, but shoveling as much cash as you can find at corporations and wealthy individuals is great and is going to help the little guy? The wealthy are getting much wealthier and corporation profits are way up. They don't need the cash.
Know this, the wealthy are a helluva lot more concerned about the financial heatlh of the middle class than you are. Those are their customers.
@plynth2 Do you KNOW what PE ratio of S&P 500 IS, TODAY? 23.21. That means $23.21 invested makes income of $1, in a year, averaged over the 500 Corporations represented by the S&P 500 index. $1 divided by $23.21= 4.3%. wow..........those 500 major corporations are paying the owners a whopping 4% a year. gee whiz. Yes, they are up all right. Up from less than 1% after the fucking crash. Not up to historical AVERAGE EVEN yet. What is Exxon, WalMart profit, as % of sales revenue?? I KNOW. You?
@plynth2 Jan, year 2000, eleven and a half years ago, Dow was at 11,700. It is 12.446 TODAY, Eleven and a half years later!! That is a whopping, 6.4% increase, in eleven and a half years. wow............ I`m impressed. Good thing I have a shitload of Krugerrands, in safe deposit. They are up from $300 to $1550. There is actually a reason for this. I asked you, WHAT is Exxon`s/ Walmarts profit %, to revenue?? You say we "shovel" money to Corps, how much is the TRUTH? Dont you know? Why bitch?
@plynth2 The points are these. 1) You do not know the answer, nor are able to determine it. 2) You say, "wealthier and corporation profits are way up. They don't need the cash." But, you havent any clue of what they are making, or what is normal. You just "feel". "Feel", "know" they are. Well, "feelings" dont cut it.
@luvcheney1 What you're suggesting is that wealthy individuals spend enough money out of pocket to support the entire American work force such that none of them will lose their jobs. The wealthy had better get busy building thousands of beach houses out of structural steel framing to keep those contractors employed. But then more carpenters would be out of work.....tell me again how your plan works?
@luvcheney1 And what about those workers who owe their jobs to the spending of the middle class? MC workers lose their jobs, have no money coming in, workers who depend on MC spending (like waiters and valets and cooks at restaurants like The Olive Garden) lose their jobs, etc., etc.
DONT YOU JUST LOVE WHEN TWO PEOPLE TAKE UP THE WHOLE YOUTUBE COMMENT SECTION IN A VIDEO... GET OVER YOU TWO ARE SO DUMB YOU CANT SEE EACH OTHERS SIDE YOU JSUT KEP SAYING THE SAME SHT OVER AND OVER HOW ABOUT YOU TRY PRIVATE MESSSAGING EACH OTHER....
@luvcheney1 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA too bad get a fucking life you angry bitch no wonder your defending ann coulter and fighting with half the people in the comments
@p6a9u1l42 "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA too bad get a fucking life you angry bitch no wonder your defending ann coulter and fighting with half the people in the comments".
Democrats penalize those who produce and reward those who are worthless (such as niggers). Consequently, producers, such as myself, are producing less while the worthless welfare segment of society grows.
So do me a favor.
If you are poor or lazy, please die so that I do not need to support you.
@tnekkc Oops, my mistake. I took the time to give you a reasoned response and while I was doing that you were composing a comment that said, "Democrats ARE rotten apples". I feel a little silly even tryiing to have a reasonable discussion with you.
@topcat42 do you know me? no so you cant say how much money i do or dont have lol thank you for showing youtube how fucking retarded you are i think your dumb enough to join the Palin family but if you really want to know i have more money then Glenn Beck but you wouldnt be able to count that high so never mind LMAO
@ObamaIsAMarxistTowel Long live Sharia Law. When our NWO is finally established, we will place you into FEMA camps, rip out your teeth with fillings and gas you to death. It's part of our 50 year plan, directed by the Soviet Union and George Soros. BWA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!
Gosh she has an annoying shrill voice. Please don't let her anywhere near my country. Better get off this video. I'm getting a headache listen to her "tweet" (or is that "sqwark"). Man this is torture!
@tnekkc by doing what does she warrant your praise for courage. For supporting a conservative ideology in a heavily bias right Environment? Or is this more a question of who has the whitest smile skin and the prettiest hair? because it is not her ideology that is unique, tax cuts to the rich, guns for everyone, no health care or safety nets ensuring that when the middle class fall they can never get back up both physically and career wise, or that Obama is black and a Muslim, therefore evil.
@tnekkc all of these beliefs lodged in you brain are poisonous and exploitative of your overly paranoid mind and believe me it's not your fault, you are probably just another victim of social pressure and lack of critical thinking skill due to indoctrination as a child. Believe me their is help for you and it starts with actually doing some unbiased research into the issues and gaining a conclusion by looking in more than one source and dissecting and discussing with other rational people.
Poisonous, exploitative, and paranoid are used here subjectively.
I think there is a struggle between those to push for more collectivism and those who struggle more more individualism.
Once you assume the values of either, a logical case for the left is made by Robert Reich and a logical case for the right is made by Charles Krauthammer.
We will never resolve if we argue around that dichotomy, and we may never resolve it if we face it.
@tnekkc No man is an island and you are no exception. Our success is a monument to our interdependence, together we form a society. It is easy for people to become engrossed in the Idea of superiority, when in fact the rich, in most cases were born that way or got lucky. just because you are rich and greedy now does not separate you from the rest of us and you owe society that same debt that we all pay and more if you are even more fortunate than the rest. Face it, if you were on the bottom...
@XAxNINJAxKITT3NX Born that way, or lucky. Sure.... you are either 1) stupid 2) incompetent 3) undisciplined 4) dont practice thrift 5) lack creativity. If you had any one, or several of those qualities, you would be rich, or at least be on your way. Go ahead, think it was the "accident" of birth, or luck. That lets YOU off the hook, loser. This is THE place on Earth to get ahead. Unless "effort" is changing channels on the remote.
Our success as a species is a monument to our interdependence, together we form a society. It is easy for people to become engrossed in the Idea of superiority, when in fact the rich, in most cases were born that way or got lucky.
You will find that what is implied is that some children are born poor, and others rich and that some get lucky (like striking oil ect). It should not change our quality of life for the worse if we happen to get the short end of the stick.
@XAxNINJAxKITT3NX You are just silly. Many, many people work hard, and get wealthy. The US is the easiest place on earth to do it. Your attitude is only what YOU need, to rationalize failure.
@luvcheney1 If you happened to be born into a poor family and you ended up having to work to support that family and therefore never got a proper education, is that your fault?
The correct answer is that it is not.
When ones goes to objectively evaluate a society, they must take into consideration the quality of lives of everyone in it. If successful members in the society do not pay into that society their fair share then others on the bottom loose the opportunity to be great.
@tnekkc (continuing from previous comment) you would feel it unfair that you may not rise to the top and be given the same opportunities that your current self enjoys. If we do not live in an equal society then we live in a society where the rich may only get richer and the poor poorer, it does not take a genius to see that the given dichotomy has a clear answer. Individualism fails because we are a interdependent group. Communism fails because if leaves no room for reward for the exceptional.
@tnekkc says "It is as important for some adults to fail as it is for others to succeed" Now THAT encapsulates the Republicans philosophy right there. While Democrats are helping people succeed, the Republicans feel its important to go around making sure some people fail. What a philosophy!
@tnekkc The notion that Democrats want rotten apples to do as well shows us that you are either ignorant of the Democrats' postion, you understand it but prefer to lie about what it is, or you purposely misunderstand it to enable you to mask, from your yourself , the flaws in your own position.
@plynth2 Libs believe in rewarding failure, and punishing success. That is as perverse as it gets. Punish cigarette smokers with higher taxes, they smoke less. Punish thrift with
capital gains taxes, get less capital. Punish labor with taxes, while rewarding those who do not work, well, you figure THAT out, genius.
@plynth2 What? Top 50% of income earners pay 97% of income taxes, bottom 3%. THAT is punishing success. We reward failure by allowing the bottom 50% to pay just 3% of the burden, we reward failure with the Earned income credit, unemployment for 2 years, food stamps, welfare, etc. Sacrifice and save? Get fucked with Capital gains! Borrow your ass off on a mortgage? Get rewarded with a deduction. THIS is what Libs like, it is just REALITY. Punish work, production, capital, and reward failure, debt
@luvcheney1 So what you are suggesting is to increase the tax burden and cut assistance for the bottom 50% and decrease taxes for the top. A perfect example of ideology gone idiotic. And a perfect example of why I ended my registering as a Republican after 35 years. You are ludicrous beyond belief.
@plynth2 Unfortunately for you, tax revenue TO the Fed Govt increased, a % of GDP, after Bush cut tax rates, the rich paid HIGHER %, of all income taxes, with lower % rates. Raising taxes on the rich will do the opposite, lowering tax revenue, and the rich will pay a smaller share. WHY? Because they will react. They will take income in different ways, invest differently, move money to other places, like OUT f the US. The EU has higher taxes, and 60% more population only produce 5% more GDP.
@luvcheney1 That's a nice fairy tale you Republicans like to tell, but in real life the tax increases and decreases we have seen in the last several decades have not coincided with corresponding tax revenue increases and decreases. It doesn't matter how many times you say it, it still does not coincide.
And all the while the rich had their tax cuts in 2003 throught 2008 and continuing into 2011, they took that money and moved it and invested it OUT of the US anyway.
@plynth2 Google "Peter R Orzag 2003- 2006", (Dem Director of CBO), and read this: "federal revenues grew by about $625 billion, or 35 percent, between fiscal year 2003 and fiscal year 2006." "As a
result, receipts as a share of GDP rose from 16.5 percent in 2003 to 18.4 percent
in 2006, an increase of 1.9 percentage points." Obama appointed Orzag later, to Dir of his budget, resigned pleading in Wall Street Journal to keep tax breaks on the Rich. Why REDUCE revenue???
@luvcheney1 That's a nice story. History tells us that it was a random coincidence and that the increase was due to other factors. In an interview on NBC's "Meet the Press," Greenspan expressed his disagreement with the conservative argument that tax cuts essentially pay for themselves by generating revenue and productivity among recipients.
"They do not," said Greenspan.
Greenspan was fed chairman for 5 presidents-3 Republican and 2 Democrats.
@plynth2 Greenspan also was Fed Chairman during the creation of the Dot Com bubble, and the Housing Bubble, both fueled by HIS easy money policies, the home bubble breaking the Economy into a disaster.
@luvcheney1 (You changed the subject) You are a great cherry picker of facts. Greenspan was chariman for 20 years-through a lot of ups and downs. Your implication that the Fed was the only reason bubbles occur is ridiculous.
@luvcheney1 If there is a surge in added jobs in six months it would clearly NOT be due to the continuation of the tax cuts the rich have been gettig for the last 8 years. There has been a tremendous shedding of jobs and reduction in tax reveneues while the tax cuts have been in place.
The central premise of the Republican's one and only solution for curing ALL of our economic ills is a fairy tale as told to the middle class by the wealthy and thier agents, the Republicans Party.
@luvcheney1 The first half of what you said however is true. As the rich continually accumulates a bigger percent of the income and wealth in this country, it stands to reason they will pay a bigger % of the taxes. And as more and more middle class Americans lose wealth and have their wages decrease, they will pay a decreasing amount. From what you have said about directing all of our wealth towards the rich, that is a consequence of the trend that you strongly support.
@plynth2 Americans are losing income, because the rest of the world is modernizing, and competing. That was not much the case decades ago. Americans have no WEALTH, because they are a bunch of fucking idiots, in debt, who never save a nickel. Income, and wealth are separate ideas. Federal policy is to reward debt (mortgage deductions), punish thrift,, with taxes on capital, interest income, and to pay folks to sleep on the sofa.
@luvcheney1 You have such a keen analytical mind,,,,,"...Americans have no wealth because they are a bunch of fucking idiots." Quite a demonstraiton of the brute farce of your intellect. Brilliant.
@plynth2 Retirement savings in the real world are real. Capital saved. Americans were CONNED into a system where their retirement was just a promise. THEIR capital immediately spent, on current retirees. THAT takes a true idiot to accept, and believe in! NO CAPITAL invested, for retirement?? ( Soc Security) Penalties on capital, FROM Govt. ( taxes on interest, cap gains) Subsidies on DEBT?? (mortgage debt) Fed Reserve ENCOURAGING debt, with LOW Interest rates? Only idiots accept such nonsense.
@luvcheney1 Your view on retirement is much like any other view we hear from conservatives; its 100% ideology based. You're born perfectly healthy into a good family, your parents feed and clothe you and send you to good schools where you get excellent grades, get a job that pays you enough to save enough for all your expenses in retirement and to do the same for your family, you never become seriously ill, you always have the means to not have to rely on anyone else. Nice little fairy tale.
@plynth2 ??? Most money I ever earned, $38K in 2006. We then have a small business, made $60K, my wife AND I, working 60 hour weeks for that. Business went bad, in the recession, I wrecked my back, but have insurance, paid out of MY pocket, with $8000 deductible. I maxed deductible 2 years in a row, got better after 2 years. NO unemployment, no disability, because self employed. No food stamps, I didnt apply. Took me 3 days to find job selling cars. I earned $3500 in first 30 days. Fuck you.
@plynth2 But, over my life, I paid off my home, no debt at all, my Daddy taught me that. Never financed a car, in my whole fucking life. Paid home off 17 years ago. Saved little by little, Krugerrands in safe deposit. I can get over lifes little problems, without living on my knees, begging like a fucking crybaby.
@luvcheney1 You have worked hard and made the best of it. I commend you for that. And we know there are millions of others who have worked as hard and things still did not turn out as well for them. And then there are most people who do not have the capacity that you have. What do we do with those millions of people? Let them starve is not a solution because the result is a lot of desperate angry people which is not good for anybody, including you. "No Solution" sows the seeds of communism
@luvcheney1 you contend; If the fairy tale doesn't work for someone, that person is an "idiot". I happen to be one of those relatively fortunate few to have lived your little fairy tale; AND I DON"T THINK THE OTHERS ARE IDIOTS. There, but for the grace of God, go I.
Just knowing that the Republicans are voted into office by ideologues like you is enough for me to vote against the recent crop of Republicans.
@plynth2 So, if I try hard, and win at it, fine. And if another loses, for whatever reason, tax me, so he can win too. Are you nuts? That is just a sure way to get everyone on the sofa, doing nothing, like right now. 2 yrs unemployment! 20 million illegals with jobs? WTF?
@luvcheney1 From what recall of what you told me in your brief history, I would not define you as someone who "won". If you think having your house paid off and haing a business that grosses 60K means you have significant security, think again. You will be in the second wave of people who GO DOWN if there is an economic collapse, and your krugerrands will not save you. Let me guess, you have an assault rifle with a few thousand rounds too.
@plynth2 Avg net worth, says Fed Res at my age, is just $180K. Thats just value of my home. Statistically, I "won". You know, the wealthy, skew the avg far higher than the avg working stiff, who has a far lower net worth. Remember, wealth is NOT income, it is excess of value of your assets, minus debt. Every Fed Policy is designed to discourage accumulation of wealth, and to encourage spending and debt. Avg Joe too stupid to ignore Fed policy. Imitate the wealthy, not the stupid. Stupid.....
@luvcheney1 Well, by your definition of winning, I've won too. Its just a shame that in spite of your victory you seem like such a miserable cuss.
Just what kind of fed programs do you think are out there that are going to make recipients of a program accumulate $180K in wealth such that they "win" too? Food stamps? Unemployment compensation?
I figure if I can also assist others who are less far less fortunate I will not only be a winner, I'll be a champ.
@plynth2 There are 15 million illegal aliens in the US, working and supporting themselves. Illegals work at a far higher % than American do. Having "programs" that pay Americans to not work, while anyone can get a job is silly. Illegals get zero unemployment, food stamps, disability, welfare, yet still work and live. Your "programs" create dependence. The goal ought to be to create INDEPENDENCE, not DEPENDENCE. Lib policies DOOM Americans to generational poverty. How "moral" Libs are.
@luvcheney1 I have no problem at all with a program like unemployment compensation. To expect an unemployed electrical engineer to take a job as a bell hop doesn't do anybody any good. Multiply that times millions of workers and you have major disruption to the economy, for instance, it was probably cause the housing market to collapse. YOUR $180K home would be worth $40K and you're not a winner anymore. The benefit of unemployment comp to the overall economy far outweighs the drawbacks.
@plynth2 Sure, paying an unemployed electrician to sit at home, on his ass when he could be making money as a bell hop makes great economic sense. I guess you do not care that the cash he gets from unemployment compensation must be taken from someone else? How about he work as a bell hop until he finds a proper job, allowing whomever the govt was going to steal from to keep their own cash? Then the illegal bell hop could stay in Mexico, there wouldnt be a job to take.
@luvcheney1 There is one job for every five people out of work, that's why. Then the four in five people who are totally without income cause the housing market to crash.
@plynth2 Unfortunately for you, the housing bubble burst, and home prices began falling in 2007, BEFORE the spike in unemployment. In other words, unemployment was low, inder 5% and stable, when housing crashed. Your statement is false.
@luvcheney You say my statement is false and you attempt to prove it with a story that is off point. Its off point because nothing in your version of the housing bubble disputes what would happen to housing prices if unemployment benefits did not exist. The financial crisis caused the drop in housing prices - the subsequent unemployment without unemployment benefits will cause prices to plummet. You'd better pray employment bounces back before benefits expire. My statement remains correct.
@plynth2 Just go google up the month by month unemployment rates, and look up the home values as well. Home prices crashed, and that caused a financial crisis, and then unemployment rose. Unemployment did NOT cause the plummet in home prices. Your point of how great unemployment is misses the obvious. Govt must take cash from somewhere to pay unemployment. It is a plus for the unemployed, and a minus for those who get wacked. That makes a net zero change. No magic, sorry to inform you.
@luvcheney1 Your version of the crisis is not exactly accurate, but it is off point anyway so I'm not gong to bother to respond to it. The housing price crash you are talking about would be a fender bender compared to what would happened to prices were it not for unemployment insurance. Like I said before, you had better pray that people get back to work before unemployment benefits run out, otherwise that crash is still to come. My statement remains correct.
@plynth2 OK, go look up the "facts", and show me. Home prices began collapsing mid-2007, and unemployment didnt began rising till Dec 2007. Thats just a fucking fact. YOU stated high unemployment caused it, and that is fucking idiocy. Still, explain WHERE the US can go get money, to pay unemployment insurance, where there is NO corresponding negative effect on the economy??? It is just a plus (unemployment ins), negated by a minus (taxes, printing, borrowing). Or, it is just "magic"?
@luvcheney1 Let me repeat, the timeline of the housing decline in 2007 is off point regarding our discussion of unemployment compensation.
But the fact is, the start of the recession officially began in Dec 2007. As you probably know, one of the factors that define a recession is an increase in unemployment for a defined number of months along with other indicators such as negative growth, etc. Therefore, unemployment had been increasing some months before Dec 2007.
@plynth2 According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, one month of 2007 was 5.0%, all other months were under 5.0%. 2008 started in Jan at 5.0%, increased steadily all year, until hitting 7.3% in Dec. 2009 ended at 9.9%. Look it up. So, housing collapse began early 2007, earlier in some markets, but unemployment didnt rise until 1 year later. Unemployment didnt kill housing, the housing collapse killed the economy, increasing unemployment.
@luvcheney1 At this point, all I will say about your last post, which continues along a vein that is off point as well as being small one, is that you're right, unemployment did not start the drop in housing prices in 2007.
But that is not what we were talking about.
We WERE talking about the effect the absence of unemployment comp would have on housing prices. I don't think it is necessary to repeat the point I was making. If you prefer to not comment on my point, that is up to you.
@plynth2 "We WERE talking about the effect the absence of unemployment comp would have on housing prices. If you prefer to not comment on my point, that is up to you." But I already did. I said, "I guess you do not care that the cash he gets from unemployment compensation must be taken from someone else?" If I rob you of $500, give it to a someone else, that is an intelligent economic policy, creating prosperity? No, the positive balances a negative of the same magnitude.
@luvcheney1 I don't see how your response was an answer. You would rather have a few extra hundred in your bank account while your neighbors have nothing in theirs and they go into foreclosure. Multply that times millions of unemployed and you get a crash in housing prices. You have a few hundred more in your bank account but your house is worth $140K less. The economy is a system of inter-dependent parts. If one part breaks, the whole system goes down.
@plynth2 According to Federal Reserve data, during the Clinton Admin, the "rich" saved at most 12% of their incomes, and spent 88% or more. ( this savings % varies during business cycles). During Bush Admin, the "rich" spent 103% of their incomes, in excess of income, taking on debt. Your statement is based on 2 falsehoods 1) rich save all, or most of their incomes 2) saving money is not a positive for the economy. The extra 2 yrs unemployment ins is financed by debt, from savings.
@plynth2 Why, then, if the economy is interdependent, do we have to shoulder the entire fucking load? I would like to point out to you that almost 50% of Americans do not pay ANY income tax. We give 50% of our income! Does that seem interdependent to you? I pay for your hospital bills, fucko, so don't lecture me about "oh, this is a utopia that needs to work like a well oiled machine, with everyone providing for one another!" That is liberalism, but in practice all the liberals use is communism.
@Jmanthebarbarian1 50% of Americans don't pay any income taxes at all and their wages are gong down. and you want to increase their taxes. Brilliant.
If you give 50% of your income in taxes you need to stop doing your own taxes and get an accountant, but its a nice talking point.
You don't pay my hospital bills any more than I pay yours so stop complaining. Liberalism is not communism and is a stupid thing to say, but again, nice talking point.
@tnekkc . The flaw is this: if, in an effort to give assistance to 100 good apples, one bad apple receives some collateral benefit, what do you do? What if its 100 : 5? Or 100 : 20? A liberal would say, help the good apples even though a few bad apples are helped in the process. (The idiot or the liar would say that position means Democrats want the one bad apple to succeed.)
@tnekkc The Republican's position seems to be that either the 100 good apples should get no help because a few undeserving apples would benefit as well, or that the definition of a bad apple is someone who needs help. A characteristic of a Republican is that they are extremely uncomfortable with gray areas. They love the blackness and whiteness of the two former positions. The liberal position that includes the gray area of what to do about the one bad apple makes a Republican's head hurt.
Best I understand it, NBC blocked its access to Ann Coulter, because they went in to support their Barack Obama; since they decided they didn't want anyone critical of the new President Administration. Ann Coulter has taken a lot of heat, but her books are public, and everyone who cares to get a book can check out their contents.
@luvcheney1 Not a neo-con, thanks. I've read all of her books, and your put-down is a fail. Is it so incomprehensible to you that someone who can READ would find Ann Coulter offensive?
So...you agree that the 9/11 widows are 'whores' who should 'pose for Playboy' while their looks hold, and who don't know that their dead husbands were probably going to divorce those 'harpies'? Do you stand by Ann here?
Those women, whose only crime was losing a husband, DESERVE Ann Coulter for decrying Bush?
@OneVoiceMore The left uses Cindy Sheehan, 9-11 widows, poor elderly, victims of natural disasters as political spokespeople, and because of the "victim" status, nobody can respond to their political philosophy. THAT is true, and Ann`s point. TaxiCab drivers, cashiers at MiniMarts get killed on a daily basis WORKING, and dont get millions in compensation from Govt. Their families get no voice, no $. My point re: unemployment comp is this: without it, housing prices would be down to a fraction of what they are today, and when it starts running out housing prices will start to drop dramatically and eventully the bottom will drop out. That's all due to pure market forces. Your $180K house will be worth $40K regardless of your own personal debt circumstances.

tbwil11 6 months ago
@plynth2 Hey, YOU SAID THIS, "for instance, it was probably cause the housing market to collapse." FACT is, the housing market collapsed when unemployment was UNDER 5%! Before unemployment ROSE! WHY is that point SO important? Because the financial collapse is the most important economic event in the last 80 yrs, and you havent a clue WHY it happened, a clue as to the order of the events. Knowing WHY the economy is ruined is of the UTMOST importance. (if you want things better, or give a shit)
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 In other words, you would rather not continue with our discussion re: your list of gov't programs that will make lazy non-workers accumulate $180K in wealth and "win" like you. In can certainly understand why. You would rather revisit the events of 4 years ago for some reason.
plynth2 6 months ago
@plynth2 Most important economic event in 80 yrs is not interesting. OK, YOU see economic good from Govt giving $300 week unemployment check. Me too. I see economic damage as well, because Govt MUST TAKE $300 from somewhere else in the economy, doing damage, to do that. NET ZERO. Plus/minus. If rich guy pays $300 more tax for this, he no longer spends $300 at fancy dinner, and waitress, valet, cook, dishwasher, produce co, meat co suffer, etc. That is bad, offsetting the good. NOTHING CHANGED!
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 So you are only interested in saving jobs that cater to the spending habits of wealthy individuals. There are far more jobs worth saving that a wealthy individual are not in a position to hire. How many electrical engineers are wealthy individuals going to hire? None. There are many other highly skilled workers who the wealthyl never hire. Unemployment works well to stabilize the housing market and millions of households (not just cooks and waiters).
plynth2 6 months ago
@plynth2 If Obama taxes $300 from me, to give to you, THAT "stimulates" the economy? Bullshit! Now I cant spend it, and that is a negative, offsetting your check, a positive. I guess we should focus on the "good", and ignore the reality of the negative??
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 The good is that it keeps your $180K home from dropping to $40K because all those people who are not being foreclosed upon. Not a bad return on your $300 tax payment. Teh good far outweighs the negatives. Don't think so small.
plynth2 6 months ago
@plynth2 Please explain how the average unemployment check in Ca of $300 week, which is less than minimum wage, pays a mortgage. How? Without eating? Electricity? Why not just skip the unemployment check, and let folks get jobs at the car wash, picking strawberries, washing dishes at Dennys, where they can make the same money as unemployment? Then, the economy would just support legal Americans, instead of legal Americans on unemployment, and illegals doing jobs they dont feel like?
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 That $1200 a month is a good chunk of change when a spouse loses his or her job. $300 a week is not a maximum - I know of some who get $470 a week because they lost high paying jobs. If both lose their jobs, that is a disaster for them. An individual who gets $300 a week had a relatively low paying job and so would have a lower mortgage. Some also have savings that they can combine with it and get by.
And looking for work is a full time job.
plynth2 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 Why is it that you think that anything to help the little guy is a waste of money and is loaded with negatives, but shoveling as much cash as you can find at corporations and wealthy individuals is great and is going to help the little guy? The wealthy are getting much wealthier and corporation profits are way up. They don't need the cash.
Know this, the wealthy are a helluva lot more concerned about the financial heatlh of the middle class than you are. Those are their customers.
plynth2 6 months ago
I KNOW. You?
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 So what are you saying, corporate profits are NOT up? The DJ is NOT at 12,700?
plynth2 6 months ago
Why bitch?
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 Are you trying to make a point or are you just happy to spout out stats on Exxon and Walmart?
plynth2 6 months ago
This has been flagged as spam show
@plynth2 The points are these. 1) You do not know the answer, nor are able to determine it. 2) You say, "wealthier and corporation profits are way up. They don't need the cash." But, you havent any clue of what they are making, or what is normal. You just "feel". "Feel", "know" they are. Well, "feelings" dont cut it.
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 What you're suggesting is that wealthy individuals spend enough money out of pocket to support the entire American work force such that none of them will lose their jobs. The wealthy had better get busy building thousands of beach houses out of structural steel framing to keep those contractors employed. But then more carpenters would be out of work.....tell me again how your plan works?
plynth2 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 And what about those workers who owe their jobs to the spending of the middle class? MC workers lose their jobs, have no money coming in, workers who depend on MC spending (like waiters and valets and cooks at restaurants like The Olive Garden) lose their jobs, etc., etc.

XAxNINJAxKITT3NX 1 year ago
@tnekkc all of these beliefs lodged in you brain are poisonous and exploitative of your overly paranoid mind and believe me it's not your fault, you are probably just another victim of social pressure and lack of critical thinking skill due to indoctrination as a child. XAxNINJAxKITT3NX 1 year ago
@XAxNINJAxKITT3NX
I simply do not want to share my $.
tnekkc 1 year ago
@tnekkc No man is an island and you are no exception. Our success is a monument to our interdependence, together we form a society. It is easy for people to become engrossed in the Idea of superiority, when in fact the rich, in most cases were born that way or got lucky. just because you are rich and greedy now does not separate you from the rest of us and you owe society that same debt that we all pay and more if you are even more fortunate than the rest. Face it, if you were on the bottom...
XAxNINJAxKITT3NX 1 year ago
@XAxNINJAxKITT3NX Born that way, or lucky. Sure.... you are either 1) stupid 2) incompetent 3) undisciplined 4) dont practice thrift 5) lack creativity. If you had any one, or several of those qualities, you would be rich, or at least be on your way. Go ahead, think it was the "accident" of birth, or luck. That lets YOU off the hook, loser. This is THE place on Earth to get ahead. Unless "effort" is changing channels on the remote.
luvcheney1 7 months ago
@luvcheney1
XAxNINJAxKITT3NX 7 months ago
@XAxNINJAxKITT3NX You are just silly. Many, many people work hard, and get wealthy. The US is the easiest place on earth to do it. Your attitude is only what YOU need, to rationalize failure.
luvcheney1 7 months ago
@luvcheney1 If you happened to be born into a poor family and you ended up having to work to support that family and therefore never got a proper education, is that your fault?
The correct answer is that it is not.
When ones goes to objectively evaluate a society, they must take into consideration the quality of lives of everyone in it. If successful members in the society do not pay into that society their fair share then others on the bottom loose the opportunity to be great.
XAxNINJAxKITT3NX 7 months ago
@tnekkc (continuing from previous comment) you would feel it unfair that you may not rise to the top and be given the same opportunities that your current self enjoys. If we do not live in an equal society then we live in a society where the rich may only get richer and the poor poorer, it does not take a genius to see that the given dichotomy has a clear answer. Individualism fails because we are a interdependent group. Communism fails because if leaves no room for reward for the exceptional.
XAxNINJAxKITT3NX 1 year ago

@tnekkc says "It is as important for some adults to fail as it is for others to succeed" Now THAT encapsulates the Republicans philosophy right there. While Democrats are helping people succeed, the Republicans feel its important to go around making sure some people fail. What a philosophy!

@plynth2
We need to weed out the bad apples.
Democrats want rotten apples to do as well as good apples.
That will make for lots of rotten apples.
tnekkc 7 months ago
@tnekkc The notion that Democrats want rotten apples to do as well shows us that you are either ignorant of the Democrats' postion, you understand it but prefer to lie about what it is, or you purposely misunderstand it to enable you to mask, from your yourself , the flaws in your own position.
plynth2 7 months ago
@plynth2 Libs believe in rewarding failure, and punishing success. That is as perverse as it gets. Punish cigarette smokers with higher taxes, they smoke less. Punish thrift with
capital gains taxes, get less capital. Punish labor with taxes, while rewarding those who do not work, well, you figure THAT out, genius.
luvcheney1 7 months ago
@luvcheney1 Total rubbish. You are thoroughly ignorant of what liberals want. Try again.
plynth2 7 months ago
@plynth2 What? Top 50% of income earners pay 97% of income taxes, bottom 3%. THAT is punishing success. We reward failure by allowing the bottom 50% to pay just 3% of the burden, we reward failure with the Earned income credit, unemployment for 2 years, food stamps, welfare, etc. Sacrifice and save? Get fucked with Capital gains! Borrow your ass off on a mortgage? Get rewarded with a deduction. THIS is what Libs like, it is just REALITY. Punish work, production, capital, and reward failure, debt
luvcheney1 7 months ago
@luvcheney1 So what you are suggesting is to increase the tax burden and cut assistance for the bottom 50% and decrease taxes for the top. A perfect example of ideology gone idiotic. And a perfect example of why I ended my registering as a Republican after 35 years. You are ludicrous beyond belief.
plynth2 7 months ago
@plynth2 Unfortunately for you, tax revenue TO the Fed Govt increased, a % of GDP, after Bush cut tax rates, the rich paid HIGHER %, of all income taxes, with lower % rates. Raising taxes on the rich will do the opposite, lowering tax revenue, and the rich will pay a smaller share. WHY? Because they will react. They will take income in different ways, invest differently, move money to other places, like OUT f the US. The EU has higher taxes, and 60% more population only produce 5% more GDP.
luvcheney1 7 months ago
@luvcheney1 That's a nice fairy tale you Republicans like to tell, but in real life the tax increases and decreases we have seen in the last several decades have not coincided with corresponding tax revenue increases and decreases. It doesn't matter how many times you say it, it still does not coincide.
And all the while the rich had their tax cuts in 2003 throught 2008 and continuing into 2011, they took that money and moved it and invested it OUT of the US anyway.
plynth2 7 months ago
@plynth2 Google "Peter R Orzag 2003- 2006", (Dem Director of CBO), and read this: "federal revenues grew by about $625 billion, or 35 percent, between fiscal year 2003 and fiscal year 2006." "As a
result, receipts as a share of GDP rose from 16.5 percent in 2003 to 18.4 percent
in 2006, an increase of 1.9 percentage points." Obama appointed Orzag later, to Dir of his budget, resigned pleading in Wall Street Journal to keep tax breaks on the Rich. Why REDUCE revenue???
luvcheney1 7 months ago
@luvcheney1 That's a nice story. History tells us that it was a random coincidence and that the increase was due to other factors. In an interview on NBC's "Meet the Press," Greenspan expressed his disagreement with the conservative argument that tax cuts essentially pay for themselves by generating revenue and productivity among recipients.
"They do not," said Greenspan.
Greenspan was fed chairman for 5 presidents-3 Republican and 2 Democrats.
plynth2 7 months ago
@plynth2 Greenspan also was Fed Chairman during the creation of the Dot Com bubble, and the Housing Bubble, both fueled by HIS easy money policies, the home bubble breaking the Economy into a disaster.
luvcheney1 7 months ago
@luvcheney1 (You changed the subject) You are a great cherry picker of facts. Greenspan was chariman for 20 years-through a lot of ups and downs. Your implication that the Fed was the only reason bubbles occur is ridiculous.
plynth2 7 months ago
@luvcheney1 If there is a surge in added jobs in six months it would clearly NOT be due to the continuation of the tax cuts the rich have been gettig for the last 8 years. There has been a tremendous shedding of jobs and reduction in tax reveneues while the tax cuts have been in place.
The central premise of the Republican's one and only solution for curing ALL of our economic ills is a fairy tale as told to the middle class by the wealthy and thier agents, the Republicans Party.
plynth2 7 months ago
@luvcheney1 The first half of what you said however is true. As the rich continually accumulates a bigger percent of the income and wealth in this country, it stands to reason they will pay a bigger % of the taxes. And as more and more middle class Americans lose wealth and have their wages decrease, they will pay a decreasing amount. From what you have said about directing all of our wealth towards the rich, that is a consequence of the trend that you strongly support.
plynth2 7 months ago
@plynth2 Americans are losing income, because the rest of the world is modernizing, and competing. That was not much the case decades ago. Americans have no WEALTH, because they are a bunch of fucking idiots, in debt, who never save a nickel. Income, and wealth are separate ideas. Federal policy is to reward debt (mortgage deductions), punish thrift,, with taxes on capital, interest income, and to pay folks to sleep on the sofa.
luvcheney1 7 months ago
@luvcheney1 You have such a keen analytical mind,,,,,"...Americans have no wealth because they are a bunch of fucking idiots." Quite a demonstraiton of the brute farce of your intellect. Brilliant.
plynth2 7 months ago
@plynth2 Retirement savings in the real world are real. Capital saved. Americans were CONNED into a system where their retirement was just a promise. THEIR capital immediately spent, on current retirees. THAT takes a true idiot to accept, and believe in! NO CAPITAL invested, for retirement?? ( Soc Security) Penalties on capital, FROM Govt. ( taxes on interest, cap gains) Subsidies on DEBT?? (mortgage debt) Fed Reserve ENCOURAGING debt, with LOW Interest rates? Only idiots accept such nonsense.
luvcheney1 7 months ago

Fuck you.
luvcheney1 7 months ago
@plynth2 But, over my life, I paid off my home, no debt at all, my Daddy taught me that. Never financed a car, in my whole fucking life. Paid home off 17 years ago. Saved little by little, Krugerrands in safe deposit. I can get over lifes little problems, without living on my knees, begging like a fucking crybaby.
luvcheney1 7 months ago
@luvcheney1 You have worked hard and made the best of it. I commend you for that. And we know there are millions of others who have worked as hard and things still did not turn out as well for them. And then there are most people who do not have the capacity that you have. What do we do with those millions of people? Let them starve is not a solution because the result is a lot of desperate angry people which is not good for anybody, including you. "No Solution" sows the seeds of communism
plynth2 7 months ago
@luvcheney1 you contend; If the fairy tale doesn't work for someone, that person is an "idiot". I happen to be one of those relatively fortunate few to have lived your little fairy tale; AND I DON"T THINK THE OTHERS ARE IDIOTS. There, but for the grace of God, go I.
Just knowing that the Republicans are voted into office by ideologues like you is enough for me to vote against the recent crop of Republicans.
plynth2 7 months ago
@plynth2 So, if I try hard, and win at it, fine. And if another loses, for whatever reason, tax me, so he can win too. Are you nuts? That is just a sure way to get everyone on the sofa, doing nothing, like right now. 2 yrs unemployment! 20 million illegals with jobs? WTF?
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 From what recall of what you told me in your brief history, I would not define you as someone who "won". If you think having your house paid off and haing a business that grosses 60K means you have significant security, think again. You will be in the second wave of people who GO DOWN if there is an economic collapse, and your krugerrands will not save you. Let me guess, you have an assault rifle with a few thousand rounds too.
plynth2 6 months ago
@plynth2 Avg net worth, says Fed Res at my age, is just $180K. Thats just value of my home. Statistically, I "won". You know, the wealthy, skew the avg far higher than the avg working stiff, who has a far lower net worth. Remember, wealth is NOT income, it is excess of value of your assets, minus debt. Every Fed Policy is designed to discourage accumulation of wealth, and to encourage spending and debt. Avg Joe too stupid to ignore Fed policy. Imitate the wealthy, not the stupid. Stupid.....
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 Well, by your definition of winning, I've won too. Its just a shame that in spite of your victory you seem like such a miserable cuss.
Just what kind of fed programs do you think are out there that are going to make recipients of a program accumulate $180K in wealth such that they "win" too? Food stamps? Unemployment compensation?
I figure if I can also assist others who are less far less fortunate I will not only be a winner, I'll be a champ.
plynth2 6 months ago
@plynth2 There are 15 million illegal aliens in the US, working and supporting themselves. Illegals work at a far higher % than American do. Having "programs" that pay Americans to not work, while anyone can get a job is silly. Illegals get zero unemployment, food stamps, disability, welfare, yet still work and live. Your "programs" create dependence. The goal ought to be to create INDEPENDENCE, not DEPENDENCE. Lib policies DOOM Americans to generational poverty. How "moral" Libs are.
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 I have no problem at all with a program like unemployment compensation. To expect an unemployed electrical engineer to take a job as a bell hop doesn't do anybody any good. Multiply that times millions of workers and you have major disruption to the economy, for instance, it was probably cause the housing market to collapse. YOUR $180K home would be worth $40K and you're not a winner anymore. The benefit of unemployment comp to the overall economy far outweighs the drawbacks.
plynth2 6 months ago
@plynth2 Sure, paying an unemployed electrician to sit at home, on his ass when he could be making money as a bell hop makes great economic sense. I guess you do not care that the cash he gets from unemployment compensation must be taken from someone else? How about he work as a bell hop until he finds a proper job, allowing whomever the govt was going to steal from to keep their own cash? Then the illegal bell hop could stay in Mexico, there wouldnt be a job to take.
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 There is one job for every five people out of work, that's why. Then the four in five people who are totally without income cause the housing market to crash.
plynth2 6 months ago
@plynth2 Unfortunately for you, the housing bubble burst, and home prices began falling in 2007, BEFORE the spike in unemployment. In other words, unemployment was low, inder 5% and stable, when housing crashed. Your statement is false.
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@luvcheney You say my statement is false and you attempt to prove it with a story that is off point. Its off point because nothing in your version of the housing bubble disputes what would happen to housing prices if unemployment benefits did not exist. The financial crisis caused the drop in housing prices - the subsequent unemployment without unemployment benefits will cause prices to plummet. You'd better pray employment bounces back before benefits expire. My statement remains correct.
plynth2 6 months ago
@plynth2 Just go google up the month by month unemployment rates, and look up the home values as well. Home prices crashed, and that caused a financial crisis, and then unemployment rose. Unemployment did NOT cause the plummet in home prices. Your point of how great unemployment is misses the obvious. Govt must take cash from somewhere to pay unemployment. It is a plus for the unemployed, and a minus for those who get wacked. That makes a net zero change. No magic, sorry to inform you.
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 Your version of the crisis is not exactly accurate, but it is off point anyway so I'm not gong to bother to respond to it. The housing price crash you are talking about would be a fender bender compared to what would happened to prices were it not for unemployment insurance. Like I said before, you had better pray that people get back to work before unemployment benefits run out, otherwise that crash is still to come. My statement remains correct.
plynth2 6 months ago
@plynth2 OK, go look up the "facts", and show me. Home prices began collapsing mid-2007, and unemployment didnt began rising till Dec 2007. Thats just a fucking fact. YOU stated high unemployment caused it, and that is fucking idiocy. Still, explain WHERE the US can go get money, to pay unemployment insurance, where there is NO corresponding negative effect on the economy??? It is just a plus (unemployment ins), negated by a minus (taxes, printing, borrowing). Or, it is just "magic"?
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 Let me repeat, the timeline of the housing decline in 2007 is off point regarding our discussion of unemployment compensation.
But the fact is, the start of the recession officially began in Dec 2007. As you probably know, one of the factors that define a recession is an increase in unemployment for a defined number of months along with other indicators such as negative growth, etc. Therefore, unemployment had been increasing some months before Dec 2007.
plynth2 6 months ago
@plynth2 According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, one month of 2007 was 5.0%, all other months were under 5.0%. 2008 started in Jan at 5.0%, increased steadily all year, until hitting 7.3% in Dec. 2009 ended at 9.9%. Look it up. So, housing collapse began early 2007, earlier in some markets, but unemployment didnt rise until 1 year later. Unemployment didnt kill housing, the housing collapse killed the economy, increasing unemployment.
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 At this point, all I will say about your last post, which continues along a vein that is off point as well as being small one, is that you're right, unemployment did not start the drop in housing prices in 2007.
But that is not what we were talking about.
We WERE talking about the effect the absence of unemployment comp would have on housing prices. I don't think it is necessary to repeat the point I was making. If you prefer to not comment on my point, that is up to you.
plynth2 6 months ago
@plynth2 "We WERE talking about the effect the absence of unemployment comp would have on housing prices. If you prefer to not comment on my point, that is up to you." But I already did. I said, "I guess you do not care that the cash he gets from unemployment compensation must be taken from someone else?" If I rob you of $500, give it to a someone else, that is an intelligent economic policy, creating prosperity? No, the positive balances a negative of the same magnitude.
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@luvcheney1 I don't see how your response was an answer. You would rather have a few extra hundred in your bank account while your neighbors have nothing in theirs and they go into foreclosure. Multply that times millions of unemployed and you get a crash in housing prices. You have a few hundred more in your bank account but your house is worth $140K less. The economy is a system of inter-dependent parts. If one part breaks, the whole system goes down.
plynth2 6 months ago
@plynth2 According to Federal Reserve data, during the Clinton Admin, the "rich" saved at most 12% of their incomes, and spent 88% or more. ( this savings % varies during business cycles). During Bush Admin, the "rich" spent 103% of their incomes, in excess of income, taking on debt. Your statement is based on 2 falsehoods 1) rich save all, or most of their incomes 2) saving money is not a positive for the economy. The extra 2 yrs unemployment ins is financed by debt, from savings.
luvcheney1 6 months ago
@plynth2 Why, then, if the economy is interdependent, do we have to shoulder the entire fucking load? I would like to point out to you that almost 50% of Americans do not pay ANY income tax. We give 50% of our income! Does that seem interdependent to you? I pay for your hospital bills, fucko, so don't lecture me about "oh, this is a utopia that needs to work like a well oiled machine, with everyone providing for one another!" That is liberalism, but in practice all the liberals use is communism.
Jmanthebarbarian1 6 months ago
@Jmanthebarbarian1 50% of Americans don't pay any income taxes at all and their wages are gong down. and you want to increase their taxes. Brilliant.
If you give 50% of your income in taxes you need to stop doing your own taxes and get an accountant, but its a nice talking point.
You don't pay my hospital bills any more than I pay yours so stop complaining. Liberalism is not communism and is a stupid thing to say, but again, nice talking point.
plynth2 6 months ago
@tnekkc . The flaw is this: if, in an effort to give assistance to 100 good apples, one bad apple receives some collateral benefit, what do you do? What if its 100 : 5? Or 100 : 20? A liberal would say, help the good apples even though a few bad apples are helped in the process. (The idiot or the liar would say that position means Democrats want the one bad apple to succeed.)
plynth2 7 months ago

I'm not a lib, by the way.

@OneVoiceMore Perhaps you could get someone to read one of her books to you.

OneVoiceMore 6 months ago
@OneVoiceMore The left uses Cindy Sheehan, 9-11 widows, poor elderly, victims of natural disasters as political spokespeople, and because of the "victim" status, nobody can respond to their political philosophy. THAT is true, and Ann`s point. TaxiCab drivers, cashiers at MiniMarts get killed on a daily basis WORKING, and dont get millions in compensation from Govt. Their families get no voice, no $. The left puts up Lib victims nobody can respond to, only "widows" have a right. Bullshit.

@luvcheney1 Parroting Ann's own lame excuse for being intentionally controversial...hypocritically so, doesn't make her TOLERABLE.
The rest of your 'point', like Ann's is just random drivel.
Ann took a shot at the widows. How are they immune, again? Oh RIGHT. Facts don't penetrate.
Calling widows 'whores' is OKAY, so long as their politics differ from yours?
Ann gets it, though you don't, that BUSH has people lined up to defend his failures, including attacking victims. Get facts. They rock.
