  • Your right ! I went through 2 or 3 sets before dropping the 60$ & then had to get the centers later... I picked up the E-Revo & automatically purchased the CV's along with the purchase of the truck but for some reason I haven't needed them yet (I wonder why?)...

  • There not that strong they do break. I broke 3 of them just keep buying stoke there cheaper

  • remember if you upgrade to aluminum drive shafts (or any other things aluminum) if the next part in line isnt aluminum it will break the next part

  • those are axles, not driveshafts

  • Well it nice to have the outter shafts cause of that problem but now your just gonna go through the center drive shafts, I just bought the whole kit so I would have that problem. Search michigan 3908 state police to see my truck

  • so what breaks first after metal axles are put in the driveshafts or the the transmission gears

  • how fast does the e maxx go on stock gearing with 7 cells thanx

  • Just hope it don't break again or else your screwed!

  • What kind of batteries are you running?

  • Hey man''you should see mine,i ran it on my first 6s run and at full throttle doing about 63mph still accelerating it like did a top end melt down and the drive shaft exploded into pieces,i got it fixed by getting those performance shafts but ((did you get those from online or at your hobby shop))?

  • So basically my question is; do these have the same problem coming loose, because to be honest when I bought mine 4 years ago all 6 shafts/axels totaled 150+ dollars, and yet these are only 65. Also, I was looking at the center drive shafts to try/buy first before the axels, but on the picture it had two f/r shafts of different lengths (is this the case, because mine are the same size (original 2.5 series E-maxx)).

    Thanks

  • Hey,

do you also have the drive shaft versions of me, I've been having problems with my drive shafts. I've owned my E-maxx for 8 years now, and about 4 years ago when the brushless motors came out I upgraded all of the interior parts including the drive shafts/axels (as well as 2 4800mah lipo batteries). Once I did this I continuely had problems with the shafts/axels coming loose (since the pins would fall out even though I had the screws thread locked).

  • no i havnt broken a bulkhead yet i probly will eventually but if your friend broke one then it was prob just a freak accident

  • How do you like those tires?...i need some new ones. any recomendations?

  • i like the tires their not the best. it kinda determines what you want like do you want on road tires? or offroad tires?

  • Just for bashing around the back year, mostly off road tho.

  • i like the pro-line 40-series moab tires! i have them on my t-maxx and they work great!:)

  • Dude, which charger is that? havent broke any axle's yet, although i keep having to tighten my pinion gear to keep it wheelieing....

  • The charger is made by Hyperion and its called "EOSO6O6i AC/DC", and ya all the e-maxx brushless at least have to keep tightening pinion gear i tighten mine b4 evertime i run it.:)

  • i have the 1/16 e-revo and i'm going to have to take the diff apart to put in the steel driveshafts in, do you have to do that to the e-maxx?

  • no i have the 1/16 e-revo to its in my other vids and i havnt updated the drive shafts on it yet but on the e-maxx you just take the driveshaft of the differential that is held on by one screw it takes about 5 min but you do not have to take the diff apart on the e-maxx.:)

  • thanks. taking the mini revo apart sucks :(

  • Ya i know its all packed together but its still an amazing little car!:)

  • i use it more than my slash... well i did until i stripped the diff

  • ohh yeah i have a slash to those are fun but i like the little e revo better!:)
