Olympic Games Athens 2004 - Anna Bessonova UKR Clubs final

This is why OG needs apparatus finals. Anya deserves an Olympic gold to hang somewhere in her house, but she didn't deserve the AA in either competition. However, if there was an apparatus final, I personally think there would've been fairer judging and she would've won for clubs. Also, Ira would've had a 2nd chance on her ribbon, which I think she should've gotten 1st in if she performed like she did in Q!

@hpobsessor1 I don't think judging would have been fair, there would have been any reason for that, unfortunately. I think Kabaeva would have been pushed as it happened in AA competition. :| I will never understand how judges could give to Kabaeva Execution marks higher than Bessonova's and Tchachina's ones. Anna and Irina were definitely cleaner. -__-

@KalinkaRG I just think they wouldn't have seen it as prestigious as an AA. I think they still would've given Kabaeva ball and ribbon, but Tchachina won for hoop in AA, so I think she would've gotten hoop, and I just think Bessonova's clubs might've stood a better chance in a EF. Anna and Irina definitely were cleaner. Ah well, since the officials are stupid and don't have an EF, we'll never know!

She is very flawless, she does deserve to win 2004 Olympic, but Alina Kabaeva was great too, it is very hard to decide which gymnast will be a champion. I know a lot people don't think Alina Kabaeva should win but Alina Kabaeva also worked really hard on her routines. So I think Alina does deserve to win. It is just my opinion. Anna Bessonova is definitely great! She is also deserve to win the Olympic.

She was absolutely amazing in this routine as much as in the other three. she's completely clean,powerful,passionate and accurate in every movement. She of course cannot even be compared to Kabaeva. She's way better. As much as Kabaeva was the top of the world once, it was high time someone else took her place. It's too bad Russia couldn't play fair game and give her the gold cause she so diserved it. Really awesome!

OMG I love this routine! I love how she uses the whole carpet =D

Anyways, even though I'm usually on Russia's side, this time I have to go with Ukraine... Kabaeva was NOTHING compared to Bessonova!
