Say what? "Budweiser commercial aired only on the first anniversary of 9/11. It was not to promote their product , it was a tribute to those who were lost." I DO NOT THINK SO. It is a commercial to buy more Bud. Nothing about 9/11. No message but there name and "drink responsibly". Meaning, buy more Bud. So where is any message concerning 9/11? So lame. It's not a tribute; only to promote the product. Lame as their beer.
This is not the Budweiser 9/11 Tribute video. The Budweiser 9/11 Tribute shows the team driving through the countryside and over the bridge to the park across from Lower Manhattan where they look across to where the Twin Towers once stood and the team bows in unison in a Tribute to America's loss.
I never saw this on tv so I'm not saying I'm right but I don't think this was for 911 the 911 commercial is a lot different then this but still very SWEET
This is a great commercial and all, but the opening remark is total BS. This commercial was Budweiser's Super Bowl commercial some 5-6 years ago. To have anyone say this was Budweiser's 9/11 tribute is a farce. I'm sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but this is an old commercial. It's a great commercial, don't get me wrong, but I want people to know that this was aired during on the previous Super Bowls...this is no 9/11 tribute =(
@BigSchem I believe BigSchem is telling the truth. The real Budweiser 9/11 Tribute has the horses bowing, with The Statue of Liberty in the back-round.
Seeing this is NOT going to make me go out and by Budweiser!! (although I do like Bud) You people are crazy to think that this is going to make any of us go out and buy their beer!! This is just their way to show their support of everyone who was touched by 9/11!! WHICH IS EVERYONE OF US!! Too many of you have already forgotten how you felt on that day!! GOOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
@dreadedwheat26 Are you fuckin mental? I'd assume yes. This is NOT to promote their product. This commerical, possibily, but that actua one that was made as tribute to 9/11? No, not at all. Look it up here on youtube. They aired the commmerical once, so that they didn't earn anything from it. It was simply to reconize those who died, and all the heros. So please, why don't YOU stop being a moron, and learn to understand how simple the concept is.

This cute video was meant to touch the hearts of people so how does it draw out the bottom dwelling low life that has to look up just to see the bottom? And all you negative pieces of rotten maggot shit who always has something to say and wonders why there's war? He'll, you can't even watch a fucking video with one another! Here's a new one.... Try getting along! We all were taught it in preschool!
1st of all .. the video your talking about it was not shown on the 1st anniversary... it was shown at 1l2 time at the Super Bowl for 2001 season... and quite right, it was only aired once. 2nd see cortchubby's comment above.. he must be a good writer... prolly a poet...
The wagon used in the video is a "fire" truck hitch wagon and the big helping the small is a great thing .. Please try to see the good I'm thing and not dwell on the negative.
who caes if they caught bin laden yet...they killing diaper head stinky inbred pakies...we winning!!! bin laden knows his people being killed...oh right...he kills his own...knowing that you'd think he'd turn himself in...nope...like the rat he is, he's hiding in a dark cave...along with the other rats
this is not the 9/11/2001 tribute - it is a wonderful ad, as most of the budweiser ads using their horses are - but the tribute to 9/11 is moving and haunting. please post the proper video for this title. thanks.
@OOjiBoy Hmmm, I suppose that the 9 11 1974 is remembered as well. Of course we all know what that date is, h forgot we are talking to Americans.
9 11 1974 was when the war criminal Henry Kissinger, CIA and other American puppet organisations overthrew the government of Chile and put into place the other War Criminal Pinochet who then went on to kill tens of thousands of Chileans, all in the name of something that America would favour. Hmmm I wonder if Chile is remembered on 9 11
@oddsweeneytodd I agree, so why are they even arguing about that stuff, both videos are great! Who cares about the specific title, I like both just the same. Goodness people. This was a good comment oddsweeneytodd =)
@oddsweeneytodd Maybe. Or, just maybe, the young one lost loved ones and wants to carry on where they left off. Doesn't have to be 9/11, it could be anytime.
@TheCountrygirl0777-yes it does, it is post 9-11. the horse is a baby of the original horses, signaling birth. the rebirth of our nation.
@pinkpatch102-it is the right commercial. watch it again. see where the baby puts it nose up to the picture? its a picture of the original horses pulling the wagon to NYC where they would bow. why dont you gets your facts straight before you call people names?
@pinkpatch102 - Actually it's a black and white (sepia, but that's a developing technique, would have originally been B&W) of the original clydesdale team, you'll note that the drivers are wearing 19th century clothing, and they are on a dirt road...
My wife and I love these horses. My kids love them too. Even though people say this is not the 9/11 Budweiser commercial maybe so but I like it because to me it stands for America getting back on their feet, helping each other and driving on. Ive seen the other commercial with the horses paying tribute in the snow. Sad to say but what did most Americans do on the Sept11 2010. Nothing. No flags outside like before.God Bless the USA.Im proud to have been a part of what came after the 11th.
This has quite the appropriate name!!! This is post-9-11 and shows the hope of a nation and how we improvise, overcome, adapt. And how the spirit of America will always soar and overcome. Excellent choice of a name!
That's a stretch and a half. And its not the 9/11 commercial. Furthermore I've seen this ad SEVERAL times over the course of months, so its wasn't the one-and-done Budweiser did. Its still a great ad.
i agree with RebelRoseCowgirl i have seen this commercial several times this isn't the one you labeled You should correct it in Honor of the effort for the correct one.
@jean16129 No its not. I have seen it several times.. its not the 9/11 tribute Its cute but its not special. There is a special tribute commercial and this is not the one.
This is NOT "the" Budweiser 9/11 commercial. If ever there was a time when you should correct this glaring factual error, it is today, the 9/11 anniversary.
i love all the tribute commercials...i guess i go deeper into the meaning...a young child has lost his parents and must pull the weight of that by himself in tribute and love for those that passed
You need to rename your video. The 9-11 Tribute commercial is of the Clydesdales in harness pulling the Budweiser wagon to the Statue Of Liberty and Bowing, not this one. Please remove or rename this video as this is NOT the correct video and is NOT a tribute to the victims of the 9-11 tragedy. This is more a tribute to the Past, Present and Future of the Budweiser Clydesdales than anything else and has been shown numerous times.
@Mike081178 No those are not the team that was paying homage.. its totally different and it is a disservice to the actual commercial. And takes away the viewers from the one they Intended to honor 9/11. This commercial i have seen several times its not so special.
You're just another head up ass canadian jealous of the fact that your country will forever live under the shadow of the United States. Send more of your country men over here to be treated by a real a healthcare system and real doctors...
I agree this not the Budweiser Tribute 9/11. That commercial only aired one time. this video has been played on tv countless times in the superbowl since 9/11. She should either remove it or remane it.
You have the wrong commercial. This one was a Super Bowl ad and was certainly aired more than once. The one you want has the horses bowing to the NY skyline where the towers stood.
in my eyes, the small horse represents the burden of alone trying to carry the values of liberty, justice and freedom on the smallest of shoulders, while the bigger horses show us that though we may feel it, we are never alone in the fight.
No, this is not the 9/11 commercial. As has been posted, the correct one has the team going to NYC and bowing to where the World Trade Center towers stood.
I had to watch this a few times but I think I get it now. I t hink it picked up where the first one left off. I believe it's a young colt who looks at the picture on the wall of the adult horses' first trip to NYC, and decides it's important that he go to NYC to pay his respects too. Then the adult horses help him by pushing the wagon from behind. Am I getting it right?
Combine this one with the other one of 9/11 and you'll understand. The horses are going to The City to pay tribute to the fallen of 9/11. Very beautiful
this isn't the one, the one for 9/11 shows the the clydes taking a bow

I agree this not the Budweiser Tribute 9/11. That commercial only aired one time. this video has been played on tv countless times in the superbowl since 9/11. She should either remove it or remane it.

Wrong commercial.

You have the wrong commercial. This one was a Super Bowl ad and was certainly aired more than once. The one you want has the horses bowing to the NY skyline where the towers stood.

Not to promote their product? lol bullshit

i like the metaphor to this video
in my eyes, the small horse represents the burden of alone trying to carry the values of liberty, justice and freedom on the smallest of shoulders, while the bigger horses show us that though we may feel it, we are never alone in the fight.

Actually, this is the wrong comercial. The 9/11 tribute one, has the horses bowing in front of where the towers stood
illusensama 2 years ago 3
nope. he wanted to pull the cart, and with the older horses help he done it.

bluejeanjessie, this is not the commercial that was posted for the 911 tribute. The 911 tribute has the horses bowing down on their front legs.

umm yea the tribute to 9-11 was the one where they go to new york and bow.
roxie883 3 years ago 3
Combine this one with the other one of 9/11 and you'll understand. The horses are going to The City to pay tribute to the fallen of 9/11. Very beautiful

This is not a 9/11 tribute ad...this had a 2006 trademark at the end of the video

This is not the comercial. This is a different one. Search for Budweiser 9-11 tribute. You will see the adults bulling the wagon in snow in NYC.
