I spent about 20 or so years/summers of my life on Squam Lake (AKA Golden Pond) - I have many many fond memories of the fun times I had swimming, canoeing, sailing, learning to water ski, and climbing the hills/mountains that surround this lake. I remember once water skiing from Sandwich Bay to Holderness - that was a feat in itself. Picnics at Yard Island. Church Island Sunday Services. Fishing off the end of the boat house. Oh so many memories... One day I will return ...
Your video and photos are breathtakingly beautiful. My vife and I spent a number of days in the Squam Lake and Holderness region of New Hampshire during late September, 1985. It was warm and gorgeous.
We even had the opportunity to visit the lake and the loons from a pontoon boat that was used by the film crew making "On Golden Pond."
Really fond remembrances. Thanks for so poignantly bringing them back to mind.

Thankyou so much for this film. Many of the moments I recognize from our first Fall visit to New Hampshire. We stayed at the Boulder`s Cottages.
