humm nice story. I got a Super red dragon that don't seem to have potential in colors now. I heard that these red dragons are like this when they are little. some don't have much redness but as they mature up then they will develop it. the Redness will climb up to the KOK. About KOK size it really depends on genetic and at the same time from what i think, how dominant and healthy your fish is.

To the one who said it's fake... Watch the video again... Look at the head marking... i guess you are very dumb if you didn't notice it... I've heard that the best food for the hump to grow is that you feed it with "Humpy Head" and for the color, I only know "Heavy Red" or something... live "Super Words" are said to be very good for the humps to grow... It contains a lot of protein. I hope my ugly flower horn turns into like Poi.

i'v already try to feed him super red syn, humpy red, and pellets but his not eating.

There is a possibility that your flowerhorn is infested with worms in his gut. That's what happened to my flowerhorn. He never ate for a month and a half, till his system finally gave up, and he died. I dissected him to find out who's the culprit was. I discovered taht his whole guts was full of moving white worms!! Later did i found out that lots of ignorant petshops feed their flowerhorn stock with live tubifex worms that are collected from the dungs of fish farms, and dirty pig farms!!

If you ever buy any special deworming tablets from your local pharmacy store, you can either force feed him with small peaces of it inside his mouth with a pair of thongs. Or, you can also dissolve the tablets inside his thank. Just make sure that the tablets are well dissolve in a small container before you pour it inside his tank, just to be safe. The chances for him to be treated is slim.

I forgot the name of the medication because its been a while ever since my flowerhorn died. Just ask them a special deworming tablets specifically designed only for human consumption. If they have a deworming tablets specifically designed only for animals like fighting chickens for example. That's even better. Just make sure you put him in a special quarantine tank if you decide to cure your sick flowerhorn.

Jimms... nice fish you got there. Anyway, i have some flowerhorn and they are every sick at this time.. In the pass few day they starting to get small white spot on thier tial.. and now it all over their body..they still eating but not moving much..the older male are just laying down. I am not sure what to do..Can you or any one help me out,, I can't watch them dying, but don't know what to do..

Your fish has a parasite called Ick.. and you need to buy some treatment.. You can find some at a local fish store or even Walmart. For the mean time you should raise the temperature to about 87C, this can kill off some of the parasite until you bye the treatment.  Ick normally seen in fishes when they are exposed to variable temperature changes, so try to keep the temp. of your tank constant.. Good Luck
