Just got this game for 4 bucks. Read your comments before i went back, so thx guys. Think I am in for great value.

If y'all like platformers do yourself a favor, and spend the 50bucks to get a ps1, analog controller, memory card, and ape escape 1. or emulate it (but thats tough because of the weird control scheme it used). Soooooo fun and it has not been affected too much by age!

this is one of those games most people really like and give it hight scores, while reviewers just see it as average and give it poor scores.

in this case i suggest you to go with the people and not the reviewers.

i love this game so much. me and my friend had a couple of extra bucks after eating at subway and took it home to his dads house and played it until 3 in the morning and its seriously in my top 5 best games. it was like dead night when we first came across the moles in the first level and it scared the fuck out of us xD good memories are held with this game.

Pretty poor review.

The weapon you use DOES matter as some are for stabbing things like wasps etc,others for slashing at multiple enemies etc. This reviewer is WRONG.

Also there is more than one way to complete a level so it is not linear at all and if you dont search around,you will miss objects for weapon making and even some mini games.

Also I'm in my mid 30's and find this game very challenging.

This is a pretty poor review.

I'd give this game 8/10 especially with its current price.

@imperialpod I agree. It was an old-fashioned, but quality 3D platformer. Sadly, 3D platform games simply haven't been en vogue for the past few years, and most reviewers (not necessarily this one) tend to share that cultural bias.  2D platform games went through the same phenomenon.

When I bought this game, I thought " cool, It's original!" then I finished it. " that was one of the worst games I've ever played." Why? Its short, repetitive, and there's nothing that really hooks you to keep playing.

I think this deserves at least an 8, maybe a 9. It's a really fun game and I hope red fly make a sequel.

I bought this game on clearance also with not much hope for it but i really enjoyed it. It was short but the game play was good in my opinion. Does anyone have any suggestions for any other wii games that are similar to this??

Download 'Jett Rocket' if you have Wiiware access.

Its also short, about 5-6 hours play, but its only 1000pts (£7) and looks/plays really nice.

Excellent for a downloadable game. Have fun.

I'm an adult and I liked this game a lot. Of course, I have a soft spot for platformers. It's short, but enjoyable...especially at the $14.99 price tag that it is now.

He isn't the last one of his tribe, he is of the Bolete, he won a trophy (metiorite chunk) and absorbed it, he was banished from the village until he gets a replacement he won't absorb. plus, it deserves an 8/10, not a 6, play the actual game and not the demo next time.

just got this game today, haven't had but maybe 5 minutes of game play so i can't really give thumbs up or down on it, but it seems like a really cute game, i like the whole castlevania curse of darkness thing they got going on with the "collect new items to build new and better weapons" thing

This game was fun. It was a platformer sure. But the original take on everyday tiny items as weapons was great and the music is awesome. Id go 7.5/10 easy. PLUS!!!!!! it has some cool mini games. PLINKO ftw ;)

Looks like a good game but I think I will have to pass because i'm not really into platformers, especially those as basic as this.

actually if you read the snail thing it says that flying or hard to reach enemies are easier to kill with the lunge weapons weak enimies that swarm you in groups are easier to kill with slashing type weapons and single tough enemies like the bbig evil mushrooms with hammers are easier to kill with the blunt weapons like the rabbits foot mace
