I can't believe this. I'm over 50 and this country is falling apart. You can't blame one Party, the safeguards never work! Buy precious metals over time. Hank Paulson is worth in the hundreds of millions of dollars, how can they even relate to our woes?

At the end of August, I called my broker and told him to liquidate most of my stocks into cash. 24 Hours before the Dow dropped the first 500 points, I invested most of the cash into Gold. Gold blossomed the next 2 days.

And we got no democratic institution that can offset this global hegemonial monetary system. we europeans don't vote for our ecb chiefs.... you guys don't vote for your fed governors who spend 14 years in office. then they brought up greenspan... everybody likes greenspan, he's an adorable old guy - what a move... - as you said. these are very intelligent people taking care of their families - no solidarity needed.
