  • I wanna go to the parties he goes to.

  • um i dont have the money to eat all of that. Is there anyway around it?

  • @CoopersServant no there isn't. but you don't need a lot of money to eat well.. a kilo of chicken is around €5. beans are still very cheap as well. and both are great protein.

  • I wish your camera was not so blurry, but your advice is great and right on...you seem genuine in your information....Thanks!

  • Mentally, my friends...think of losing weight as less of a diet and more of a lifestyle change. Diets to most people are built off of short term goals within a temporary amount of time.

The hardest part about maintaining a diet and losing weight is not the diet itself but the intricate process of "keeping at it".

Sometimes we get lost along the way or lose sight of our goals...but, you have to find ways or incentives to keep going.

  • every time this guy reply's to u it seems like he has it on copy and paste, not saying hes edvice isnt good but he could atleast respond to ur question lol

  • @IPWNBXRmash I receive 1000 questions a week.

  • ...lovz him! he is telling it like it is! and he is soooo right about the drinking! not only do you drink the night before, then the next day you want to eat too much because of that nasty hangover. it's just something to stop doing at least while trying to lose... i learned that the hard way last night... no more!

  • lol dude, you keep talking about ur radio show xD

anyways... I love ur vids! subbed!!

  • you see what i do i go to the Gym 4 days a week i eat as healthy as much as i can and after my workout i take a protein shake so i can heal my Muscles i love going to the gym :) and i am 5'6 220 pounds and last time i weighed myself was like almost a week ago

  • MSM is great for muscle repair too..

  • Hey steve i am 12 years old and 180 pounds i really need help please please can i have some tips please reply

  • @XplatinmsnipaX hey really you should get your parents to watch these videos, make them count your calories for you and make them write it down. make them take responsibility for you! its no problem if you put in some effort :)

  • @mandowarrior123 ya my parents try very hard to help but i dont know why i am always hungry after i eat i feel hungry

  • @XplatinmsnipaX then go to your doctor. but if you eat really small amounts hunger goes away altogether really.

  • @mandowarrior123 ya i did go to the doctor and i got a blood test and we waiting

  • Thanks for getting back to me, you mean jelly as in jam right, like strawberry jam. ( i am not american, forgive me) . also just one quick question, if i run 3 km 6 days a week, do 200 situps and 50 pushups everyday, but eat what i usually eat ( which is alot but no shitty fast food or snacks, and only water) will i lose weight?? or just maintain this 98kg? I love lots of healthy food, and i enjoy exercising so it kinda makes sense, but i am not the expert.

  • @farsideoftheocean You'll have to try it & see. If you lose weight after about two weeks you're doing well. If weight loss doesn't occur then you need to watch your eating, healthy or not.

  • @farsideoftheocean Theres also more great info on my BlogTalkRadio show. Once there search Steve Turano. The show can also be downloaded from iTunes. • Can anyone tell me if replacing butters and margerines with extra virgin olive oil on my bread/toast etc is ok? I wanna lose wieght, I am about 97 kg and i wanna get down to about 85 kg. i score some girls and i guess be happier in general!!!I am a bit of a loser at the moment.

  • @farsideoftheocean Oil will be justr as caloric. Try just jelly without butter, margerine or oil.

  • As someone who actually struggled with their weight before, I felt it was important for me to comment on this video. I'm sorry to say there is no easy way to lose weight. It's all about just getting your ass to the gym 4 or 5 times a week. Weight lifting and running, or whatever type of cardio you prefer, and watching what you eat. No crazy diets, because honestly no one can keep to that. Keep this up for a year and your golden.

  • is it true that calories are burned easy but its the fat that is hard to burn?

  • the calories that you burn from the deficit comes from your fat...

fat = calories stored on your body

  • hey does drinking tea or coffee without suger....still add caloris if ur trying to loose weight..

  • Coffee and tea have no calories.

  • Most of this guy's advice is overly simplistic at best and flat out wrong at worst. A lot of broscience and folksy wisdom and no science. 1000 calories from sugar vs 1000 calories from veggies. See how both effect your body and how you feel afterward.

  • i like this.

  • ...cereal. The 2 bowls of bran cereal that he would normally NOT eat but for the low blood sugar created by the Vodka..come to about 900 calories per night. Mulitply that X 3 nights+ the booze, and he's taking in 4000 extra calories per week that he seems to think "Don't count " because they are composed of healthy foods and low fat. He's very disciplined about his cardio in particular. 4 times a week on the stair master...which only = equal 1200 cals burned. HE NEVER GETS LEAN! Calories MATTER!

  • Have a friend who is VERY much into fitness and particularly the idea of leanness. I say " idea" because he never really gets THAT lean. He's very disciplined about his workouts, and when he drinks...he drinks miminal amounts and drinks Absolute Vodka because he feels it's a light-clean vodka with low calories and no fat. Well, 3-4 drinks a few times per week = 10 drinks or about 1200 extra calories. Alcohol spikes insulin. On nights he has those few drinks, he consumes 2 bowls of healthy....

  • so as long as he burns a third of a pound of fat per week at the gym, he can drink and not get fat.... well as long as he is lifting weights he will still see more health benefits than you.

  • Yes he'll see some health benefits from lifting...we all do. I do, that's why I lift. But the point is he's NOT creating a 1200 calorie deficit thoughout the week continually to continually burn 1/3 lb of fat. His weight and bodyfat have stayed the same for YEARS. In the colder months it goes up some...probably because he spends less time outside doing things...and more time inside eating calories. I'm leaner then him because I rarely drink...and walk 5 hours per week on top of my HIIT cardio.

  • Steve,

    become a beachbody coach!!

  • thats how I did it... 3 small meals a day, water only, 3 power bars per day, 1 hour walk/run. lost 80 lbs over about 3 months

  • is white bread bad for you?

  • it kills u..thats how bad it is

  • hahaha

  • It's not as bad as you think!

  • Something to consider regarding the drinking is that it's not just the calories in the alcohol. Vodka has no carbs, it's low calorie, but you'll put on weight because you stop being careful about what you eat when you're drunk. It's a disinhibitor, that includes the inhibitions you have about eating fatty food. You want to eat a whole large pizza by yourself, if your drunk you will.

  • Alcohol is not low in calories. It has 7 calories per gram.

  • what about wine?

  • Still has calories.

  • I WANT TO TELL EVERYONE THSI DOES not happen just in a second.. you have to learn to have a positive mind sett and inspiration.

IT MUS TBE A NATURAL change not a forced one so bare with yourself on this and have the goal to do it even when ou fail that , so you know it is supposed to be failures and your supposed to rais up again and fail and so it will make you understand giving up is not even a choice.

  • what if u wake up at say 12 in the arvo and then u eat about 10 minutes later does that still count for breakfast please comment back thanks

  • I agree... all these tips make since to me...

  • I can't see myself losing weight jogging, i can barely jog for a whole block right now lol.

  • You can start with an interval training (which is great for burning fat btw). Jog for 20 sec fast and then walk for a while and repeat this sequence a few times. This will gradually build up your strenght.

  • lmao sorry sillyeek that was supposed to be a thumbs up haha someone do a thumbs up for me thanks

  • start by walking daily.

  • I think i do really well with all the steps but the last one throws me off... i do ALOT of late night snacking

  • Hey Steve been looking at youre vids and they are pretty good :) lots of the info u give i alrdy kinda knew coz i had a kewl gym teacher at school and i come from a place where home cooked meals and daily activities are pretty important,, anyway its good to see some real info on the web about losing weight and getting in shape coz theres tons of wrong information out there,, keep up the work and love my body !!111

  • it's not about what you eat , it's all about what you do !!!...lift weights and do cardio , eat whatever you like , just don't eat alot. ,/

  • ohh ok, thnx bro.

  • now thats some sound advice. its that simple.

  • it's true about the beer. if you drink alot of beer or wine you need to stop drinking for about 3 or 4 weeks for any weight loss program to be effective.

  • LOL! Thank you! I'm glad I'm helping.

  • Hi, love your videos, I thought I know a lot about weightloss (I always think I know everything anyway, haha) but some of the things you say are new to me so THANK YOU, you rock! : )

  • You are very welcome! There's lot's more good info. Keep watching.

  • thankyouuuu for this

  • no.. hes right if u eat befor u go to bed it makes u fatter becuase it takes slower digestion.

  • That is INCORRECT!

  • what's the best cardio exercise for weight loss? I run almost every day because I can do it outside and not get bored but is there something better i can do to lose weight AND build endurance?

  • HIIT-(high intensity interval training) Sprint for 1 minute walk swiftly for twmo mins.. sprint 7 times and your on fire!

  • You're welcome to check out my latest video.

  • ahhhh...you don´t look thin pal...are you doing what you say?

  • Because he has muscle, duh.

  • it's all muscle

  • No. It's what you eat and do in a 24 hour period not just what you eat before you go to bed.

  • if u eat before u sleep dose the calories burn slower when u sleep causeing it to store fat

  • it is bad cos as u sleep u burn 1/4 of wat u burn wen u set in a chaer lol wich is a fracshon of a fracshon ont good to eat befor bed sorry i dont spell to good

  • I'm not trying to be ironic or anything but I can't think of how snacking at night is beneficial to losing weight. People tell me all the time how bad it is...

  • The time of day you eat makes no difference. What matters is the TOTAL calories you eat.

  • Makes sense thx

  • Hahaha yee PARTY!!!

  • you are my hero no joke

  • Thank you!

  • WOW, thanks! the info is definitely something we should all know, but hearing it just pounds it in a bit more and therefore somehow makes it a bit more motivating! SO SAD, but true LOL.

  • absolutely correct. thats how i live and have lost 12 kilos in 3 months.

  • Good . But I lost over 30 lb in one month using weight loss plan from LSWEIGHT(.)INFO

can you help me because im 12 im not fat or slim and i want to be slim i weigh a lot but i dont look that much because im heavy-boned and im 5'5 in lenth but my mum says i should just watch wat i eat and cut down on the sweet stuff. • youre awesome

  • lol, this guy is ripped, that's muscle under his shirt, not fat

  • BOTH

  • no, look at the vid of him with his shirt off, no fat there

  • Idiot. There is a difference between being fat and being thick.

  • haha getting naked.

  • LMAO!!..GET DRUNK and GET NAKED!!!..just said that out of no where....Talking about weight loss...then getting naked..lol

  • Love your body.

  • mm.

That dude is awesome. don't ya think?

He´s giving advice for free and everything.

  • '2 miles a day will burn about 200 calories???' if you are skinny and don't need to lose much weight it would. Obese people can burn 200 - 300 calories a mile because the more you weigh the more you burn.

  • the endurance level of walking 10 miles a day (which is what I do) some would argue that this is a type of high intensity because it requires a heavy amount of endurance! And yes, I have lost all my fat from walking and lifting weight 19 stone to 13 1/2 in six months! I'm 6 foot 2!!!

  • is walking better then jongging and running

  • Walking won't get you fit! But walking is a good way to lose fat if you are willing to put a lot of your daytime into it! Everyone can walk for longer and further than they can with running or jogging and hence walking for 2-3 hours burns thousands of calories, and you'll recover by the next day because it is low impact. Low impact is not to be mistaken for low intensity,

  • Should I look out for Gatorade?

  • if you look on the back of the bottle, it says you should consume about 250 mls every 15-20 minutes

  • what things should you eat during breakfast

  • thats some good tips big dogg thanks

  • Oh I just noticed you follow these comments and I've been commenting like crazy, so I want to introduce myself. I'm Heather and my boyfriend saw you and sent me to watch your videos because he said your rants sounded an awful lot like those I have subjected him to myself.

    Great work, man.

  • I'm Heather. That screen name is my friend Joe. OOPS.

  • Steve isn't skinny, but I guarantee the fruits of his labor will show if he took his shirt off... you can see his biceps through his shirt... plus you don't have to be paris hilton to know how the body works and its anatomy...

  • Check out my vidoe, "You Asked For It."

  • lolzz..if paris knows about the anatomy, kate moss is definitely a professor!

  • Great tips, thanks dude.

  • Anytime!

  • Steve no offence but you arnt the skinnest person in the world

  • Skinny...no. Muscular with a six pack...Yes.

  • But he is in great shape,he has the body he wants, and he's healthy. By the way the camera adds weight. We say ten pounds but I have to tell you I work in the entertainment industry and when I see a celebrity in real life they looks SO much smaller. It's like they're a shrinky dink of themselves.

  • Breakfast is simply the first meal you eat whenever you get up. It's job is to start your metabolism and curb your hunger. It doesn't matter if you exercise in the morning or at night. The most important thing is that it's a convenient time and you do it.

  • When you say "Eat breakfast" is that before a cetain time? I mean, I wake up at 10 or 11 usually so wouldn't that just be like eating lunch? Should I start waking up earlier to eat breakfast and exercise? Is it better if I exercise first thing in the morning or before I go to bed?

  • how does eating more in make u loose weight? i dont get to eat breakfast because of the time and school, will i still be healthy or am i in risk of gaining weight?

  • No you are not risking gaining weight. It's just that when people eat breakfast they are less likely to snack on high calorie foods later or get so hunger they over eat.

  • oh alright cool, thanks man

  • you rock!!! thanks for the awesome tips..

  • Glad to help. Anytime.
