This kind of movie sells all the wrong beliefs which is why many people don't understand what love really is and how to get you...you nurture it with someone....not find it in a department store along with other items...Hollywood has really done a number on society over the decades...we are fed their version of love which is illusion. Hope we don't all buy into this stupid kind of stories ...time to grow up!

I think it was explained in the movie "Only You!" where Marissa Tomei's character says that our souls were all split in half by the gods and everyone is searching for their other half. But the fact is TRUE love does grow with care and nurturing and can also FADE with neglect.

In response to Kermit's statement that "nobody really would cancel his wedding and behave in such a childish way" It would be DUMB of any man to NOT CANCEL his wedding. Why? Because after he marries the relationship will end in divorce with more baggage such as children. It is important that a man or woman listens to their heart and intuition. Often times we ignore our intuition and kid ourselves that we have what we want. But to acknowledge that something is missing is very mature.
Although the ending is quite kitschy, the whole plot with the signed $bill, the book and the cancelled wedding is so unbelievable and predictable that the whole film is just absurd - nobody really would cancel his wedding and behave in such a childish way...
romantic movies doesn't mean the spectator has to switch off his brain to believe everything!

i belive in destiny to an extent. i belive that our lives have been pre written, but the choices we make and the actions we take mold our paths. if you want something and its right in front of you, take it. dont wait to rely on fate, cuz sometimes its not gonna work in ur favor. this movie is super cute, and i love it, but the whole destiny thing is not something i totally utterly belive in. i belive more in will power :)

i really believe in destiny,what happened to us and my love was part of our destiny in life, we're young when we fall in love and got separated coz we had other dreams in ourlives, never saw each other since then until 1 day we got each other in the internet and thats the start of evrything again .18 yrs without seeing each other but when we met still fell the same... i think thats destiny.
