I know their using a drum program, i can do better then this but what I ment by fluidity is you know how you can get 3 hits per stroke for triplets on the snare or anything else? or even doubles, thats my weakness, like I said im not a drummer primaraly but i do come up with beats and I can play some solid stuff

you should layer screams and clean vocals tht would be cool. the songs good but when the guitar plays tht riff in the intro it should have chords underneath but thts just criticizism its not necessary. you guys are great

you're kidding! i can't even tell! btw you need to be more confident cause i like your singing too (can't compare to the screaming but you're a great screamer) you're a good singer! there are bands that have TERRIBLE singers but they sound good because of their lyrical patterns which is what you should look at cause you really are a good singer and there aren't many bands that can last w/o clean vocals every now and then (and no it's not selling out for other people reading this)

haha, its coming. don't worry. i dont want people to rely on solos or technical guitar parts. its all about the music and what sounds good. a lot of times i feel like solos take from the song and i'm not about that. when the time is right it will be there. very soon. thats really all i can say.

tru, very tru. but fitting a solo in is easier if the backing track is an already used section (you probly alredy knew that! but if you didn't then you learned a littl tip) and just to say you're so lucky you and matel. cause theres you, a good guitarist, and him, a good singer, so the melody is always goin to sound good and you can use the other as a crutch if an idea isn't so good on one's part. there's bands that would give alot to hav tht (i know i wud)

definitely the solo is completely dependent on the backing track. a lot of these newer songs are more sporadic and are hard to fit good melodies over. for solos especially, it doesn't matter how fast they are, its all about if it sounds good. solos need to arranged the right way. not improvised. that is my opinion, not fact.

it is a fact! lol everything you said there is a fact! a good solo is a moderation of slow and fast play but writing slower stuff is hard. fortunately your not signed so you have A LOT of time to make everything thing perfect and arrange it the way you want to. and you have time for those random great ideas to flow in.

That is pretty simple, im not a drummer by heart and im not compleatly fluent, but i come up with beats and all, dont have my own shit cuzz im a primarly a guitarist 2ed a screamer/growler 3rd is drums, lol so if you guys have the drums ill be happy to come try out

Its definitely harder then it sounds, there are many precise triplets and quads and so on.. also the drumming for our song "Second Wind" is way more difficult then this one... We'd definitely need an experienced drummer with his own kit

they lack a drummer and are probably using a drum machine. im sure they will have more complicated beats to fit the song once they have drummer. i mean if it were me. i would make a song a sick as possible rather than waste time programming a drum machine.
