That's all wrong. Bioshock 2 takes place 6 years AFTER the first. You play as a prototype bigdaddy, so kinda like an older model hint is why you have plasmids and multiple weapons.

ummm the splicers were normal ppl until they over used the plasmids and the mind control is a tonic that fontain uses on u and u the player is ryans son....cuz ryan banged some chick then she had u fontain put his mind control over u and sent u to the surface to live with normal ppl...then he called u back and made u kill the pilot of the plane u were in so that u would find rapture and do fantains work because he couldnt do it himself. so in a way it was both ryan,fontains fault foreverything
