The election showed victories for a moderate Republican in NJ and a loss for a Palin-endorsed candidate in a traditionally Republican district. The moderate-conservative civil war in the GOP is being won by the moderates. Maybe someday, the GOP will have to change its mascot from an elephant to a rhino.
