I fell on my wrist about a month ago, but it never swelled up and it still hurts now. The pain is located on my lower hand and not on my wrist. I can't do push ups due to the pain, and tried various things to help it heal but, none of them really worked. Can someone help me out? it might be a fracture but I'm not sure.
I have had this for about 2 years and after many physio treatments still no better. I have hyper mobile joins which don’t help so I am going to follow this regime and see if it helps. Cold packs, Massage, Stretch, Keep Neutral and don’t sleep on my wrists.
3 years n 4 months of what the doctors told me was a sprained wrist, hoping this works i really am cuz i cant workout properly with my wirst in this condition :(

Although the "sensation" of trouble is at the wrist, the actual “seminal” cause is impingement of the median nerve around the pronator teres muscle (proximal to the elbow)!

@stiggy12 well if i do push ups regularly with bare hands to the floor the position isnt natural, and can cause some disorders. but im no doctor this is just information i received from a body builder. id recommend getting the perfect push up.
i did bench press with my friend and it didnt hurt then next day and ever since the day after my right wrist is messed up i dont know how to explain the pain but it is mostly when i bend my wrist up or down and now when i do pushups it hurts not all the time and its not horriable pain but there is something messed up with it. anybody help me? please and thanks. p.s. when i lift dumb bells i use gloves that have wrist straps that hold my wrist straight so it doesnt get hurt but idk just saying...

I get painw hile weight lifting and i had to quit the guitar because of it. Also some times it gets so bad that by simply moving my wrist a certain way makes pain shoot down from my carples down to my elbows. i will try these exercises and hope they help. I dont want to quit weight lifting too

go to er if you dont have money maybe tour cartlage if your under 18 they will still see you if its some thing they might be able to fix like tourn cartlage try to get them to fix it before you walk out the door! but dont be rude. tell them how bad it hurts and get a wrist brace like 15 at wal-mart

wow i am having pretty much the same problem...when i wake up my whole arm from the elbow irritates me an i have a slight pain in my thumb and when i do your massage and get to the bottom of my wrist(the right side) it really is moderatly painful....i will star to ice it and continue your exercises any other tips would be useful thnx =]
I broke my wrist 31/2 months ago, I'm stretching and exercising,
3 times a day, my mobility is at 50%, (I'm 50 years old and very fit).
when exercising and stretching I'm taking my self to the point of pain, not just discomfort, is this better in your opinion?
I used to have a frozen shoulder a while back, and because I had the same mentality of taking
the exercising to real pain, I went back to my 100% mobility in one month, instead of one year like the doctor predicted.

good advise i fell on ma wrist while playing basketball and this helped rehab hope it goes away by monday
