I finished a marathon of Stargate Sg-1 seasons 4 till 10 in 2 months (watched the first 3 seasons a long time ago).

I loved Seasons 1-8. But seasons 9 till 10 just didnt hav that extra punch. I guess it just wasn't the same without Jack. Now that they've ended the show, it feels like I'm missing something inside of me. I'll miss Sg-1 terribly.

@qalemruss Yeah you're right. If you havnt already you should start watching Stargate Atlantis. Its a different cast (almost) but if you like sci fi its absolutley brilliant. And Carter and others do make apperences throughout the show :)

I love SG-1 but it werent the same when RDA (rick dean anderson) left. i really love SGA too, my fav characters r john sheppard (joe flanigan) & rodney mckay (david hewlett) i think SGA is better only bcoz of new scary enemies they have who r alot scarier. but they shuld never of cancelled either shows. i want a SGA movie so bad :(

damn i love joe flanigan & david hewlett's chrisma on SGA, i love jack o'neill until he left. but i did like cam mitchell but he is no way as funny as jack. love joe & dave especially in the episode "THE SHRINE" best episode i think & the pier scene is just so sweet.

I've just finished watching all the episodes up to Season 9 Episode 2. Already, without Richard Dean Anderson in the episode ive just seen and without him in the opening credits as both an actor and producer, i'm finding it hard to get used to. Teryl Rothery as Dr Frasier and Don S Davis (RIP) as Maj. Gen. Hammond where also great actors in this and i was gutted when both left. I'll have to see what Atlantis is like though.

I remember watching this on the premiere night... and I was still wicked skeptical about Atlantis... this plus "Rising" totally changed my mind! =) GREAT franchise!!!
