I find it funny that this soundtrack has so much more effort put into it than the joke that is the Megaman 9 soundtrack.

Regardless if it's a remake, it shows that there's a lot of potential in 8 bit music if you work at it. Rather than spamming every song you make with the "pew-pew" drum sound that is rampant in the Megaman 9 soundtrack.

Sorry for the rant, I hate Capcom and their lack of originality anymore.

As a longtime fan of Rockman (especially the original series), i can definitely appreciate an 8-bit rendition of this classic. It really seems like a legit Capcom retro product. the music is great.

I loved 8 so much that I played both US and JP versions on both PSX and SATURN. My only question is why wasn't the saturn tenguman stage used instead? both versions were great but the saturn's was better. in fact the music was better on saturn period. I just hope u include the hidden boss battles.

Umm... This is fanmade version. NES sytle. The original 8 is for PS and Sega, IIRC. And it is ready. So this game is not made by Capcom.

what was the point of making 8-bit versions of these games if the NES charging sound drowns out the rest of the sound in the game. Why couldn't they change that yet they were willing to remove the intro and museum stages in MM7.

First no 8-bit megaman game had an intro/mid stage so they made it like the original.

Second thing is if you play mm4-mm6 you notice that in those games when you charge its cuts the sound out as well. They did this to stay as true to the nes games as possible.
