Ok, lets not try to remake this classic, but if we do-- I agree--Colin firth as Godfrey, Sandra Bullock or Kate Winlset as Irene Bullock....you have to have just the right balance of 'fizz' and tact---not an easy thing for today's heavy handed actors to do.

@windstorm1000 Yay, about the Colin Firth thing. I'm sorry but although Sandra is an okay actress, she's kinda overrated and already in her MILFy years. Kate is a brilliant actress but Irene is a brat and ditzy in a way. Kate is too mature and there's nothing innocent about her.

@havilland18 I think Meryl Streep as the mother is kinda okay too. I have doubts about Blake right now. I think Emma Stone is kinda perfect but she's so smart and independent in real life but the character is kinda like a brat so she has to tone down a lil' bit. Evan Rachel Wood is cool too but she 's to fierce.
I'm sorry, IMHO Nat is a really decent actress but she's a lil' bit overrated. Amy Adams is PERRRRFECTTTT but she's a lil' bit on the older and mature side. So, you decide!!!!!!!

She is very seductive. The first time I saw this scene was out of context and I actually thought she was seducing him, at least until she got threatening.
