I never played with them much because I could never make them look CLEAN. Having seen this, perhaps I should re-invest in counter weighted poi.

The counterweight tangle - into poi catch reminds me of the Orbital Color Change in glowstringing. Something that isn't done commonly.

That last part at the end, I've been trying to play with that pattern for a little while. Except, the pattern is split time opposite.

i use 1 cup-o-rice (Preferably UnCooked)for each sock. some use sand, dirt, grains, beans, even pebbles.

I'm not using anything organic ever again, my poi smelled completely rotten a month after I put them in the machine washer and I sadly had to put them down.
