Snakes are sometimes that way, my ex had a python that you could stick a still warm dead mouse in front of it and it would sit there for days and days and not eat, but once you stuck a live one there it would snatch it. It's just how some things are.

this was very hard for me to watch. i breed mice as a hobby and i think these lil guys are so amazingly adorable. i mourn when i must get them put down. i cant keep EVERY single one. March 31 i actually broke down at work because my one mouse attacked 3 tiny babies to the point where trying to save them wasnt an option. i was froced to freeze them. but i never knew putting them in the freezer worked so i put them in the snow and refused to where a jacket all day. it was at LEAST -25 that day.
