You know I just had a "Lightbulb" Moment. I think that the real reason why Simon took Fenner's side was because he felt guilty. Remember he practically dangled the Wing Governor's Job to Jim, he had to take it back so maybe he's doing it to feel less guilty. Also, Jim could have gone to Area Management and told them what Simon promised him. That could have gotten Simon in serious trouble.

Oh how that kiss stirs the emotions! :) It is the sexiest 18 seconds between Helen and Nikki thus far! I love Helen's eyes. They say more than words ever could. It's her eyes that tells you she is falling for Nikki, in the servery and in the library, even while her words are denying it. Kudos to both Simone and Mandana for making their love scenes believable, when both actresses are straight! Oh how I would love to find my own Simone!

I've watched this scene (and a few others) so many times that the minute she says "Well, I'm not your jailor anymore..." that I do a little happy dance in my chair, I swoon, and I'm completely won over. How many people do you know in real life who would give up their career to be able to love someone?! And how long have we waited to see Helen admit her feelings openly to Nikki!

I REALLY like Nikki, but there are some scenes when I fall in love with Helen and I think Simone is gorgeous.

I don't see the correlation. Did Helen ever slam Nikki against the wall so hard her face bled? Or have relationships with other inmates? Helen treats Nikki a lot better than Fenner treats Shell (which wouldn't be too hard for anyone, I guess). Which proves that Helen is a good person and Fenner is a sack of crap.

Simone is such a great actress and she's got such expressive eyes! I love her in Wire in the Blood, her latest show where she plays DCI Alex Fielding.
