I think that Ultra Beatdown is thus far their best album. I prefer the sound of Valley of the Damned, but this album's songs are structurally more complex, and rhythm changes are much more frequent, which makes me appreciate it more. And this song is epic. One of my favorites by the band. I can't wait for the next album.

But I like to pretend that Sam Totman actually lived through a strange apocalypse on another planet, in which he was overcome by something and became super-powerful and only helped to destroy the world he was trying to save. And now, he just plays guitar and writes songs about his experiences...because to do anything greater, would destroy this world, and he is sorry that he destroyed the last one. Thats pretty much the story, to me.

As a musician i have to say, that no band i've ever seen (live or on albums) wich are as good as dragonforce. not just about the songs, i'm talking about techniques. dragonforce is using something new. and every member from dragonforce is so overskilled.

i think they're underrated.

f.e. Herman Li was in 2005 choosen for the best shredder in the world. and also he brought something new into the guitar world with his "whammy bar" technique.
