  • like mid 5 n chorus 6 n stuff for a example.

  • what are the amp settings for gothic rock tone like i mean Mid Treble Bass gain Reverb delay n chorus n stuff

  • @Fear2Goth The chorus is set to 1.3hz. The depth is 50%. Reverb is hall and lot's used. Delay mix is low with about 30% feedback. Bass=5, Mids=7, Treble=7.

  • Another great song!

  • Pretty cool thanks. I get a lot out of your video's and music and sometimes improvise at home with some acoustic versions :)

  • Beautiful I love it, it's very moving.

  • @SaddleSoreSista1 Thank you! How's things out your way?

  • Hey Corey great stuff. A question springs to mind. In Gothic swirling guitar are chords being arpeggiated or are scales being played to create that circular swirling effect. From what I have gathered so far I know how you create the tone. I am pretty sure you are generally using the Natural minor scale. However I am not sure how the circular swirling rhythm is being played.

  • @Stevethesearcher I find myself using a combination of both techniques. One of my favorite riffs of all time is Love Under Will by Fields of the Nephilim. To me, it's a perfect representation of that style of playing, because you can change the scale tones on the higher strings whilst keeping a basic chord shape on the lower strings. Is that the sort of idea you're thinking off when you talk about swirling?

  • @gsogoz Hi Corey sorry about the late reply. Love under Will is great and yes those guitars are great. Here are the songs I would reference for their guitars. The Mission-Deliverance, Fields of the Nephilim Moonchild or Love under Will. The Sisters of Mercy- Walk away. The Sisters of Mercy- Poison Door. These are classic examples of Gothic swirling guitar.

  • Excellent track, beautiful arpegiation and ethereal sounds, very good!

  • Hey is this standard tuning? beautiful stuff as usual!

  • @sagganuts Yes. Standard tuning works a lot better for this style of music IMO.

  • Excelent piece of music ! You could do a version with vocals, that would be interesting to hear :)
