  • I cannot imagine the arsenate of lead was all that good for the environemnt either. It is amazing what humans tried back in the day. Beautiful plan though, wish there were more.

  • I'm amazed that the spruce budworm was such an issue way back in the thirties that the Canadian gov't would spray for it. It' s decimating BC's forests right now and the impression one gets from TV is that it's a new problem.
