the realism of this game sucks balls. the M-16 ejects shells out of the right side of the gun. Also an M-16A2 doesn't have a flattop receiver, it has the older style carry handle.

I didn't find ANY weapon in this game overpowered.....The M60's recoil n slow ROF make up for its damage. The M16 n AN94 being burst weapons are a little more powerful than the other auto. weapons.....

I find myself only using the iron sights with the grenade upgrade when I use the M16. Probably because it has the best iron sights. I think AN94 has the worst. They just feel claustrophobic.

@StevieTVee92 the an94 sights arent bad, i recently started rocking them with marksman upgrade and LW kit and they are great for killing targets fast but not switching, they cover up too much around the target. its best if you spend your time sprinting around the map and jumping people if thats how you roll.

@Tamatoy I agree, HK tends to sell overpriced and over hyped weapons. They made the 416 with a piston instead of a DI gas system and market is as if they designed the entire rifle, other companies like ruger and rock river also have piston ARs. lol i heard of tonnes of AK varients but cant be bothered to learn about all of the hundreds of different varietns... Most of them have the exact same action though.

While the M16 vent in combat in Vietnam and get allot of soldiers killed cuz it was "too advanced and needed no maintenance"

I saw one where an Arabic man (not a terrorist, he was making a video of firing the AK-47) got one shot off, and it jammed. Unloaded, two shots, jammed. Another video where it happened to two guys standing next to each other (same thing as above).

Result?

AK-47=overrated.

Get an SLR. Excellent rifle, more reliable than the AK-47 (and more accurate), and best of all, it is British made! :D

This is a DAMN shame... the m16A2 was the first gun i got the platinum star with (1000 kills) i didnt have the power like the AN-94 but the accuracy made it my fav. I could snipe snipers with that gun. But the DAMN update made the AN-94 more accurate and more powerful. Also i had a platinum star with the UMP45 but they had to weaken that gun too. WHY Dice?! WHY?! Why did you weaken my favorite guns. :(

patchXXX: long range damage increased back

patchXXY: long range damage decreased again

I find that if im running around and i aim down the sights to shoot someone the bullets spread everywhere unlike every other assault rifle. I dont get why the bullet spread is so big at times. Amazing gun otherwise. Defs better w/ a red dot.
