Why are all American watchers say EU's are abusing host or have the better host? I play alot of Halo and actually I have every second game laggers and teleporters. I'm really sad that all Americans can't accept an European team that have enough skill to play in MLG. But we can't because the US is to far away and the costs are to high... If MLG would have a place in Europe a much larger group of Players would have a chance!

I can never take any clips in an EU montage seriously unless it's against other EU players. Otherwise you are just eating every shot and just staying alive long enough to get these chances.

Obviously. However, there are far more American players than EU players. So while almost every single clip in an American montage is against other Americans, Europeans are constantly killing Americans who have little to no chance for their shots to register.

@BNTott If one bullet doesn't register on a sniper in scope it's the difference between him hitting an easy zoomed-in head-shot and him having to try a low percentage no-scope. It's just one example, little things like that are the difference between dying after a double-kill or getting a Killtac. This is obviously going to be far more likely from across the world on a high-latency host. The connection for Americans playing on an EU host is just as bad as EU players playing on an American host.

@FlazHx117x You must not understand how the host system works at all. Your connection speed isn't as important as you might think. The things that matter most are location and host record. Also, the likelihood of Europeans matching Americans is much higher than Americans matching Europeans. So most European montages have the host-latency factor in a large amount of the clips. On the other hand, when you watch an American montage, you can be pretty sure that the host is fair for all players.

This means it's far more likely for an EU player to search matchmaking and match an American player than it is for an American player to search matchmaking and match against an EU player. So American montages are far more likely to display a fair host for all parties, while EU 'tages often display unfair hosts.
