  • Interesting though it is this development; for individuals to really have an empathy for antiquity and the formation of a physical book, one has to actually sense the tangible object. However, I acknowledge and also fully appreciate the need to preserve the condition of rare, fragile volumes when assessing them for display.

  • Thanks. The video doesn't really do the kiosk justice. These are hi-resolution images that you can really zoom in and examine. Illuminated manuscripts really pop.
