An English translation of the Crux Fidelis with notation has been provided among the resources of the new translation of the Mass on the ICEL website. It is a very beautiful strophic hymn that should realy be sung more. It is not real plainchant, however. If you take the notes and sing it with some flexibility, a bit of speed and a few grace notes you find the full melody of a very ancient folk song. Combined with the words in English this is a very, very beautiful sacred song to sing on Good F
chants are very humbling to the mind body and soul and make me feel a sense of serenity as well i feel peaceful and unscaved by everything around me..it makes me calm!
@Jamesdavis420 keep ur dumb comments to urself unless u have a nice thing to say about god or this chant then i suggest u write your comments somewhere else!
We all carry the Cross of Christ with us. The sacrifice once offered on the Cross. The Pressious Blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Lamb ogf God who takes away the sins of the world, have nercy on us.
1. We Catholics don't pray to Our Lady and the saints as we pray to God. We ask them simply for their intercession. If we pray for one another here on earth, why cannot we ask those in heaven to pray for us too? Scripture, "The fervent prayer of a righteous person is very powerful." (James 5:16) Surely Mary is righteous; even in heaven.
2. Christ himself gave us confession. See John 20: 21-23. We confess both to God and through priests.
@LeaAlauda True...when we ask for the intercession of Mary and the angels and saints, it also shows an act of modesty :)...just like a child, longing for a toy, asking his/her Mum, to ask Dad for permission ^^...
I love this music but i don't like how the catholic church puts all this praying to marry and the saints or having to go to confession i can confess to the Lord right now if I want. Me and you are saints if we ask the Lord in our hearts and serve him with all are hear I am a christian and love the Lord lets keep the main thing the main thing Gloria patri et filio et spiritui sancto Amen Glory be to the Father Son and Holy Ghost Amen. God Bless have a great day :)
Do not make yourself somehow as the exception to the rule, the chaste life is the best life out there, whether we keep it or not is our fault. Not God's, Why else do you think that St. Paul was such a successful apostle? If you do not want to have kids, you should neither be a priest, it is a natural desire and in fact that tells me that your intention is good. Even if you want to be a priest you should desire to have children, for as a priest you will have 50 times more children than marriage.
Because you cannot serve God and Mammon. Choose and give yourself entirely to Jesus Christ. Do not be tempted and say, "Well the Orthodox or this and that place, they allow priest to marry." Understand that even those few exceptions of priest that marry, they are the major minority in regards to the Universal Church.
because priests marry the church. they give their entire lives and selves to the service and care for the church, much in the same way that a loving husband would give for his wife and children.
@thesederes Whom do you love more? God or Woman. You cannot have the best of both worlds. "...No servant can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon."
FAITHFUL Cross! above all other, one and only noble Tree!
None in foliage, none in blossom, none in fruit thy peers may be; sweetest wood and sweetest iron!
Sweetest Weight is hung on thee!
SING, my tongue, the Savior's glory; tell His triumph far and wide; tell aloud the famous story of His body crucified; how upon the cross a victim, vanquishing in death, He died.
What I find interesting is the comparison between the Greek myth of Prometheus who stole fire from the gods and gave to humans (similar to the snake who suggested humans eat the apple from the tree of knowledge). He was chained to the mountains by Zeus where an eagle ate his liver (the organ that regenerates). Interestingly, the spear jabs Christ where the liver would be.
Heracles saved Promethesus on the 11th Labour to get the mystical apples of Hesperides guarded by the serpent Ladon
part2... from the mystical garden (perhaps a symbolic reference to something similar to the crown chakra experience of the Indian culture).
Looking past the details, this all seems similar to the ideas of the chakras. The goal of the types of Yoga in India (not just "exercise" Hatha) is Union(Yoga) with the Brahman. Was Christ saying"I and the Father are One" the same as "Union with the Brahman"?
So humans who experience the crown chakra level could be said to be united with full Reality
part3... "For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
this is interesting as the Sanskrit for Yoga means Yoke or Union and one form of Yoga is devotion to a 'bridge'-like humanized perception of the "Brahman" : so devotion to Krishna is a yogic method to attain union with the Ultimate Reality.
So is total devotion (not arguing on youtube about his historicity) to Christ in your mind the same basic method of attaining experience of Union with "God" (which is attained at the crown chakra)
part4... and so I may offend others' beliefs but I feel Christ was not the only "son of "God" but anyone who can see past the duality (as the Gospel of Thomas has stated with the mention of the section about the inner like the outer, the upper like the lower, the male like the female .. will enter the Kingdom) can experience being 'connected' to the Absolute Reality which Christians label with the word "God" - and this is very impossible to accurately put into limited human language.
Actually I agree but perhaps differently than your statement.
I feel the original Christianity was basically hijacked and altered and a mythological symbolism placed onto it.
One should really investigate Paul(or Saul ) of Tarsus and his influence upon things and also the influence of Emperor Constantine. An Emperor having altered the entire history of this religion is interesting to say the least.
part... what I find interesting are some of the banned and "destroyed" texts which the Roman Catholic Church did not include in the New Testament when they assembled it.
The Gospel of Thomas is very interesting (rediscovered in 1945) as it is said to be 'secret sayings' of Jesus and the implication is for you to interpret them.
One section sounds so Taoist or Buddhist ... enter the Kingdom when you make the opposing parts of duality as one( inner like outer, upper like lower).
Religion itself is not necessarily a bad thing. It's main purpose, one would think, is to instill teachings of good will and patience.
I'm not a man of God, but I don't think religion causes problems. People do. Plain and simple. People who misinterpret religion and use it in selfish ways can be dangerous.
This is a very wise outlook. You are correct, in my opinion. Religion does not cause trouble - it is those who seek to use it to their own ends that cause the sorrow of the world.
Crux fidelis, inter omnes Arbor una nobilis: Nulla silva talem profert Fronde, flore, germine: Dulce lignum, dulces clavos, Dulce pondus sustinet pange lingua gloriosy proelium certaminis et super crucis trophaeo dic triumphum nobilem qualiter redemptor orbis inmolatus vicerit
@nico10035 I have a bad attitude about religion because of the harm it does to our world. Other than that I'm actually pretty laid back & easygoing. Way to judge me based off of just one comment! (like a brainwashed fool, perhaps?)
You forget why racism existed in America in the first place. It was the after-effect of slavery, which was only able to exist in the US because of the biblical justifications for it. There has never been a more highly christian place in America than the pre-civil war South. Almost the entirety of the defense for keeping slavery legal was bible based.
If you actually read the bible, it pretty obviously approves of slavery. Paul encourages slaves to respect their masters in (cont)
Exodus 21:20-21 says to punish a master who beats his slave to death, but ONLY IF HE DIES ON THE FIRST DAY. If he lives even a day there is no punishment for the beating.
It was this Bible encouraged slavery that lead to the culture of racism in America which far outlasted the institution of slavery itself and lead to the civil rights struggles of the 50s and 60s. Dr. King certainly was a great man. I never meant to imply that RELIGIOUS PEOPLE are (cont)
necessarily bad just because they're religious. There will always be good & bad people in any group. That's just human nature. The thing is, religion was not necessary for MLK to do what he did. Sure, he used many biblical metaphors and definitely believed in Jesus, but his motivation to help his fellows would likely have been just as fierce had he been a Buddhist or an atheist.
I like how you automatically assumed I was an American (I am, but that's beside the point)
Historically speaking, there's only one reason slavery remained, and it certainly wasn't economical. Simply put, it was financially beneficial to everyone, and although it was secretly against everyone's morals, nobody put their foot down and everyone just turned a blind eye because it would cost them money if they were to stop it.
so saving the literature, art, sciemnce and philospohy of civilization after the fall of rome was a harm to the world? Starting the modern university, hospital and school was such a bad thing? Establishing the modern use of written laws such as evidence and precedence was just evil, right? Demanding that people become better and do better than they think they are capable causes so much harm?
I could go on but, although you claim "religion" does all of this harm to the world but you really mean christianity you just don;t have the courage to say it. Meanwhile secular haministic ideologies like marxism and socialism have claimed probably 200 million lives in the last century. Islamic jihadism kills muslims and non-muslims indiscriminately but you would run like a little girl if you thought you had offended a muslim by saying islam causes harm, right?
Not listing them all was for brevity, not cowardice fool!
Actually, Christianity destroyed far more of the knowledge of ancient Rome than it saved. Most of the preservation of science was done by the Muslims. The only reason we have as much ancient philosophy left as we do is because the Catholic church kept copies of all the forbidden (cont)
(cont) knowledge they had BANNED so they'd know what to look for. Hell, some ignorant monk nearly destroyed Archimedes' most important works when he inked a prayer book over them! And a Catholic bishop burned some of Da Vinci's most "controversil" aka ground-breaking notebooks!
Also, neither Marxism nor Socialism are secular haminist (spelling yours) philosophies. Humanism is just the generic belief in the promotion of ethics, reason and justice. It's only called (cont)
(cont) SECULAR humanism to distinguish it from RELIGIOUS humanism which is the same general philosophy only based in a belief in the supernatural.
I'd love to hear how you arrived at 200 million people killed by Marxism and Socialism, considering how few movements have ever followed those ideologies. If you're thinking of communism, that's completely different and would have given old Marx apoplexy if he'd lived to see it. (I'm neither a Marxist or a Socialist by the way)
Well, first off many of the tribes who sacked Rome practiced Arianism which was a form of Christianity, so it could be said that Christianity destroyed Rome itself. There are many other instances so I'll list only a few for the sake of brevity:
-The murder of the scientist & philosopher Hypatia in 415 at the behest of the Archbishop of Alexandria and the burning of all her works.
-The 4th Church Council of Carthage in 398 banned the reading of non-Christian books (cont)
Which tribes that sacked ancient Rome were Arians (a christian heresy, not christianity by the way)?
None of your examples prove your point. The action of one person does not stand for the entire group and certainly does not prove that Christianity destroyed Roman knowledge.
I have never heard that about the Council of Carthage. If that were true then why there are many saints such as Augustine and Thomas Aquinas who were disobeying the council? They were well versed in the ancient scholars
@darkelfmerc7 Unfortunately, your standard for defining the Christian is cultural, not Biblical. "Christian" simply means "little Christ," so if you take your so-called examples of Christians and measure them against the doctrines of Jesus and Paul, are they really Christians?
Actually if it wasn't for Chirstianity (Catholic), Western civilization probably wouldn't be here. So, in a way they have contributed more to this world then anyone thinks. Don't believe me? Just read history books from the fall of the Roman empire to the 10th century.
Just about the entirety of modern western civilization was developed in Greece and Rome before anyone had ever heard of Christianity. Concepts like civil liberties and democracy were lost with the fall of Rome and recovered not in the 13-odd centuries of the Medieval Catholic church but in the SINGLE century of the Enlightenment, most of whose proponents were if not deists or freethinkers at least anti-clericalists.
Christianity would sure progress a lot further if everyone would sit down for a spell and actually try to follow the example shown by Christ, rather than damning each other to hell and back.
Humanity can never damn anyone; it is God who damns. The Holy Church, with the authority of Christ Himself, holds the teachings that all men must follow to be saved. Those who do not abide by these teachings and laws are damned, for by not obeying, they are consequently hating God Himself. The Vatican II sect hates God, for they wish to destroy His eternal law through heresy and modernism, and in many ways already have! To save souls, one must fight heresy. Inexorably, one must fight Vatican II
You had me until you said "The Vatican II sect hates God, for they wish to destroy His eternal law through heresy and modernism, and in many ways already have! To save souls, one must fight heresy. Inexorably, one must fight Vatican II" another person with distorted views on the real meneing of the documents. Just like the progressives you insult and insult.
I completely agree- but it is not all of them damning each other- often times it is just the churches' elites, because normal people don't have the 'spiritual authority' to excommunicate
Heretics cannot excommunicate the faithful. Thus, these "church elites" you speak of, unless they completely reject Vatican II and the modernist heresy, as well as recognize that every man who has called himself pope since the death of His Holiness Pope Pius XII has been a manifest heretic, are false teachers and have no authority whatsoever. Their apostolic orders are null and void, they cannot confer the sacraments, and are destined for hell.
By adhering and preaching heresy, the men are automatically excommunicated from the Church (Pope Pius XII, Mystici Corporis Christi, 1943). They are not even Catholic. They are to be completely ignored, unless for purposes of having them recant and save their souls.
@gamewraith You sure have hit a sore spot :P, As Jesus said : "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?". We must all remeber that we are sinners, without exeption. Only be following Jesus example may we hope for salvation
@gamewraith The Catholic Church damns no one, nor does she know who goes to hell. The Church only proposes the truth given to her by Christ through the Apostles, and in doing so hopes to get people to heaven rather than damn them to hell. That's the Church's purpose. If you knowingly, willfully reject the truth and die in that state, you will by your own choice go to hell. But the Church won't know it. Only God knows. The Church fervently prays and hopes for everyone's salvation, not damnation.
The point is that we have to unite against the true evil which is seeking to destroy the Church and until unity is restored we all just have to pray and do the best that we can.
In the words of St. Paul, "who has bewitched you not to obey the Truth?" (Galatians 3:1). You see before you the crisis of the Faith, and yet you cling to the teaching of heretics. The vast majority of Christians during the Arian heresy thought they held onto orthodoxy, so much so that only around one percent of bishops were orthodoxy. Yet orthodoxy prevailed, just as Christ did, and shall at the end of time.
It does not matter, as St. Basil teaches, if the number is only a handful of true believers, whilst the rest of the world falls into heresy. Those handful are the Church, and shall never be destroyed. Christ promised this, and if you do not believe this, then you call Christ a liar. You are spitting in the eye of God. You should be ashamed of your blasphemy and lie prostrate for days to seek forgiveness!
The Church needs not lukewarm souls. If you do not want to defend the Faith, stand aside.
To say that the man who calls himself pope may teach whatever he wishes, even if that teaching is directly repugnant to the laws set down by the Church since the beginning, through the authority established by our Saviour Himself, is to say that you believe the Truth may shift with whatever wind may blow. The Church cannot change, as God cannot change. Anything else is heresy. Repent or lose your soul to the everlasting fire.
The Pope can not teach whatever he wants; he teaches what the Church has taught for 2009 years and he defends the faith and orthodoxy of the Church. YOU MUST REPENT FOR CALLING THE POPE A HERETIC OR YOU WILL FACE CHRIST WHEN YOU DIE AND HE WILL NOT BE GENTLE ON YOUR JUDGEMENT FOR WHAT YOU HAVE SAID ON THE POPE; THE MAN CHRIST CHOSE TO REPRESENT HIM ON EARTH. YOU SIR OR MISS IS THE HERETIC AND THAT MEANS YOU ARE NOT IN FULL COMMUNION OF THE CHURCH!
St. Antoninus (1459): "In the case in which the pope would become a heretic, he would find himself, by that fact alone and without any other sentence, separated from the Church. A head separated from a body cannot, as long as it remains separated, be head of the same body from which it was cut off. A pope who would be separated from the Church by heresy, therefore, would by that very fact itself cease to be head of the Church." (Summa Theologica, cited in Actes de Vatican I. V. Frond pub.)
But if there are no Orthodox Catholic pope, as you says, how on earth will there come a true pope? You sedevacantists says that the Vatican is occupied by heretics but how will they cast out the heretics and install a true pope?
Just because the man who calls himself the Vicar of Christ is a heretic does not mean that the entirety of the Magisterium is heretical. While it is certainly the case that there are several heretical priests, bishops and cardinals, there are still those who hold orthodox positions. The efforts of these men shall separate the sheep from the goats, and will herald the restoration of Christ's Church.
I have - those members of the Magisterium who are not heretics, not tainted by the heresy of Vatican II, will prevail and elect a true pope, who shall usher in the restoration of the Church as predicted by Our Lady of La Salette. Please read my response before asking me to repeat it.
You are the heretic; there has been 264 popes in the Catholic Church; starting with St. Peter. You who say there is no Orthodox Pope; you are the heretic; because he has been choosen by Christ Himself to represent Christ on earth until Christ returns. The Pope protects the Orthodox teachings of the Church and to say he does not; that makes you a heretic and that means you are no longer in communion with the Church.
St. Robert Bellarmine, Cardinal and Doctor of the Church, De Romano Pontifice, II, 30: "A pope who is a manifest heretic automatically (per se) ceases to be pope and head, just as he ceases automatically to be a Christian and a member of the Church. Wherefore, he can be judged and punished by the Church. This is the teaching of all the ancient Fathers who teach that manifest heretics immediately lose all jurisdiction."
Just because a man claims to be the pope does not make it so, nor is a man that is elected legitimately to the throne of St. Peter given a sort of Protestant "eternal security" of infallibility. The pope may still become a heretic, and therefore be outside the communion of the Church.
YOU are the heretic for believing in the modernist, Protestant dogmas of the Vatican II sect. Orthodoxy prevails once more. Repent or be damned, heathen.
You cannot condemn the norvus ordo for following the new mass because they have an allegiance to Rome and the Pope, regardless of what he preaches. FOR THE MAJORITY, they believe they are doing the right thing and I don't think God will send them to hell for doing what their conscience tells them is right. The same applies to the sedevecantists...
bridgetvdp22, Do you know what Norvus Ordo means? The new Mass which you speak of is the old Latin Rite Mass that has been used for 2009 years and it is still in use today. You and a few others are not in full communion with the Church; because you called Christ's representive a heretic. That means you even call St. Peter; the first Pope a heretic; which means you are actually the heretic and you and these other people here are excommunicated automatically.
"Nothwithstanding," I find you traditionalism refreshing--a man after myown heart. I've been following your posts with some enthusiasm. Keep fighting the good fight. Pax vobiscum.
Pax vobiscum. I uphold the truth, not for my sake, but for the sake of others, and because that it is indeed the truth. I take no credit for anyone who hears my voice, but appeal all glory to that of Christ. May His name be praised forever and ever.
They refuse to accept the authority of the papacy, and as schismatics, they are outside the Catholic Church and destined for hell. Anyone who is outside the Church cannot be saved. This has been defined dogmatically time and again by countless popes and by Christ Himself.
Although the Vatican II apostasy makes it such that there is not a pope on the throne of St. Peter (sede vacante), one must still hold that the office of the pope is valid, and not tarnished by the current false occupants.
Modernists love to twist and falsify the words of our Saviour to meet their own heretical ends. Yes, Christ petitions us with this warning on judgment, but this does not mean that one should cease to be faithful to orthodoxy and defend it to the death. One must be able to face the heretics, apostates and pagans and rebuke them for their errors. It is not out of hate that we do this, but out of the most sincere love, and hope that they might be saved.
This position is supported by countless papal proclamations, but I shall only use one - Pope Eugene IV, Cantate Domino, 1442, ex cathedra: "The Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that all those who are outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans but also Jews or heretics and schismatics, cannot have a share in eternal happiness; but that they will go into the everlasting fire which was prepared for the Devil and his Angels (Matt 25: 41)..."
unless they unite themselves to the Church before their death; and that so precious is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those who abide in it can benefit from the Churchs Sacraments for their salvation, and that they alone can receive an eternal recompense for their fasts, almsgiving and other works of piety and practices of the Christian militancy.
No one, no matter how much he has given in alms and even if he has shed blood for the name of Christ, can be saved, unless he has persevered in the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church."
If you do not believe this doctrine, you are not a Catholic. If you are not a Catholic, you are damned. I pray that you see the truth and convert.
well if you want to be faithfull to the church you have to admit that non christion's can go to heaven because the church has had a some what librial veiw on orther religion's since the 1940's an it's only got more librail
say 60 year's ago they basicly beleive that any one who is a good person can be saved on there dith bed
an would be forgiven with in a second
then for 30 year's now they basicly said any one who is a good person can go the heaven regardless of there religion because most religion's pray to the same god
The edicts of Vatican II concerning the salvation of non-Catholics cannot, in good faith, be held by anyone who calls themselves Catholic. Vatican II was an apostate council, ushered by a questionably elected heretic, and perpetuated by heretics. They deny truths of the Catholic Faith that have existed since the beginning, and changed the very words of our Saviour Himself. Anyone who holds that the men who claim to be pope after Pius XII are in mortal sin.
The words and edicts of heretics are not edicts at all; they are heresy. Vatican II was ushered and administered by heretics; it's edicts were heretical; it's fruits are heretical. It is inexorable that whoever believes in heretics is himself a heretic.
What more proof do you need? When you are before Christ in His divine majesty, you shall have no excuse for your denial of the truth. You shall perish for all time, with no relief. Repent or be damned, heretic.
Firstly, please learn the English language if you wish to converse and argue whilst speaking it. Secondly, your argument makes no sense - if the current "pope" is just as heretical as the "established authority" (i.e. the majority of the Magisterium), this does not excuse the actions of either party. They are still heretics! One cannot be a Catholic and hold heretical opinions, and seeing that they do, they cease to have any authority over the Church.
One can be a Buddhist and still not recognize the Dalai Lama as a sort of prime authoritative figure. There are several denominations, for lack of a better term, of Buddhism, but that is besides the point.
I do not accept HERESY. I accept orthodoxy. I therefore reject those proponents of heresy, and resist them to the face. If a man claims to be the Vicar of Christ and is a heretic, he must be rejected as an impostor. This is definitive Church teaching, as I have already stated previously.
By accepting heretics to hold claim to the papacy, you yourself are a heretic and destined for hell. Unless you sever any and all ties with their heresy, including the apostate "church" they have established, you are condemned.
Lastly, I may know the substance of what you're saying, but for future reference, please converse in proper English. A Catholic should perfect his usage of language as he perfects all of his mannerisms.
But this is precisely the problem. Those who call themselves Catholic have been so influenced by the modernist heresy, thanks to the heretical antipopes of the past fifty years, have forgotten even basic decency and dignity in speech, dress and behavior.
How did you even come to an understanding of heresy without relying on previous infallible decrees of validly elected popes? Sola Scriptura?? Now you're just another protestant. I guess that makes 35,001 denominations as opposed to 35,000 before yours.
It is an absolute historical fact that Benedict XVI was validly elected by the college of cardinals and is therefore infallible. To claim he is a false pope is to reject an article of the Faith. To reject an article of the Faith is to choose damnation.
By the way, valid Catholic prophecy states that the Antichrist will reign for only a few years; so clearly Vatican II is not the seat of the Antichrist.
One more reason you are wrong (among thousands): Christ promised the gates of Hell would not prevail against His church. If Vatican II was what you are claiming it is, Christ's promise would have been violated, which obviously is impossible.
Vatican II was a false council that created an entirely new religion. The New Mass is a sacrilege, worse than any Protestant service, as it claims to be Catholic, when it is in fact idolatry and heretical, and certainly invalid. The essential form of the consecration has been changed so that there is no change that takes place, so whoever attends the service is worshiping bread. The Vatican II sect is the Whore of Babylon, and the True Church must come out of hiding. Resist heresy to the face!
Though Vatican II has indeed been twisted by Satan more than anything else; the fundamentals of the council itself has the blessing of the Vicar of Christ.
He who rejects the Vicar of Christ rejects Christ. He who rejects Christ chooses his own damnation.
There has been no true pope since the death of Pius XII. John XXIII, Paul VI and all the post-conciliar popes are not even Catholics, as proven by the fact that the false Vatican II council promoted and promulgated heresy. No true pope would condone this, and since these men did, they incur automatic excommunication. The Vatican II sect is not the Bride of Christ, but the seat of the Antichrist. He who follows this false religion will perish in the fire prepared for the Devil and his angels.
You judge whether or not a pope is "true" by whether or not you agree with his decrees, as if YOU were the one preserved from error by the Holy Spirit. It is true that there can be anti-popes, but this is determined not by looking at their decrees, but by looking at the circumstances and validity of their election.
The undeniable fact is that Benedict XVI, JPII, etc., are all the valid successors of peter and therefore the VICARS OF CHRIST!
I do not judge, I merely present the evidence. St. Robert Bellarmine taught correctly that those who hold heretical positions cannot be Catholic, and by the very nature of the papacy, a Catholic must be pope. Post-conciliar popes teach the salvation of non-Catholics, that the Old Covenant is still valid, that the Jews don't need to be converted for their salvation, that Lutherans hold orthodox teaching with regards to justification, and much more. Even one heresy damns a man to hell.
St. Jerome taught that even if the Church be drawn down to a handful of true believers in orthodoxy, they would still be the true Church. The gates of Hell have not nor shall they destroy the true Catholic Church; yet it will fully infiltrate the false Church, the Whore who desecrates the temple of God, and shall be decimated by Christ Victorious at the Second Coming. So shall all false prophets and religions be destroyed, and all men who follow them. Save your soul or be damned, heathen.
Please do not lie and act as if you could care less about my soul, it is clear you do not. And that is one of the main proofs of all you foolish schismatics who think YOU are the actual true Church; there is no real virtue in you. You will never produce a saint.
The Vicar of Christ alone infallibly speaks for Christ.
You are absolutely right that a true pope could not hold a heretical position. But one cannot look at a position held by a valid pope and say "that is heresy." That is a logical contradiction; for the pope defines what is and is not heresy. It would be like looking at the Standardized kg in France and saying it isn't a kilogram!
The validity of the post-conciliar popes elections can be called into question, but that is besides the point; even if the pope were validly elected, he cannot erase what has been defined dogmatically ex cathedra by the previous occupants of his office, and by the laws of Christ Himself. For example, the form of the consecration has been changed fundamentally, erasing the words of Christ with those of men. No man may elevate his words to replace those of God. This very one thing makes all these
"popes" destined for hell. You put your faith in men who hate Christ and his Church. You put your faith in Antichrist. See your heresy or burn in everlasting fire.
As I already pointed out, you are clearly in error about the antichrist since this person can only reign for a few years, based on valid Catholic prophecy.
Rejecting the Vicar of Christ is the same as rejecting Christ, and it is an undeniable fact that Benedict XVI is the Vicar of Christ.
And tell me this: do you believe that Jews can be saved in their denial of Christ? Do you believe that Protestants can be saved without joining the Catholic Church? Do you value the Muslims and Buddhists, pagans and witches, as your equals? Your false ecumenicism is a denial of the truth, and you shall dwell in death forever because of your heresy.
The current antipope, Benedict XVI, is clearly a manifest heretic, yet you cling to him as if he had authority. What will it take for you to see that he is not a Catholic, but a usurper sent by Satan? Throughout his body of work, Benedict XVI displays his numerous heresies against the Faith, including, but not limited to: the rejection of infant baptism (God and the World, p. 401-402), that the Mass need not have words of consecration (Pilgrimage Fellowship of Faith, p. 232)...
...that Protestantism is not heresy (The Meaning of Christian Brotherhood, p. 87-88), that Protestant "eucharistic services" are valid (Pilgrimage Fellowship of Faith, p. 248), that non-Catholics need not accept the primacy of the papacy (Principles of Catholic Theology, p. 198), and the list goes on. Is this the man you claim to be the Vicar of Christ? This heretic? This emissary of the Devil? You have made the house of God a den of thieves! (Luke 19:46)
And you are the worst kind of thief; not one who steals material things, which are of, ultimately, no importance, but of spiritual things. You pervert the words of Christ to fit your heresy. You are the tools of Satan, and unless you see your hideous sins, you shall spend an eternity with he whom you serve - Lucifer.
R. Faithful Cross! above all other, One and only noble Tree! None in foliage, none in blossom, None in fruit thy peer may be; Sweetest wood and sweetest iron, Sweetest weight is hung on thee. V. Everyone should request Chant in their parishes...It is Catholic, it is yours, it should not be denied you as passe'...It is heavenly and invokes the Angels...
The church has abandoned it. its called Vatican Council II my friend. They rejected it basically. One day it shall sound in all the churches again I hope and believe.
No, individual Priests and liberal Bishops abandoned it, not Vat II. The Council demanded its' retention in the Constitution on Sacred Liturgy. This is one thing that can not be blamed on Vat II but on its' false "spirit" interpretation. Latin too was to be retained according to Council documents. Any Catholic who denies the Sacred Constitution even if their Priest does is in just as much formal error. Pass along the truth of the documents to others and it will return.
Man! Everything can be blamed on VCII. It was an abomination as all knowing persons know. Everything wrong in the world today can be blamed on Vat.II It was a council of Evil. EVIL!!!
If you actually read the documents VC2 produce, you would realize how wrong you are. It was liberal theologans in the Church that distoreted the truth. VC2 was a council to find out ways to evangelize a very troubled world at the time. Change has happen because we have allowed it to happen not because of the council. Trust me I am very traditonalist person.
I don't care what anyone says. VC2 was an abomination of PURE evil, and now, everyone knows it. It has produced no fruit but has yielded poison. It should never have been convened, the whole point was to modernize the church. Ah! and that they did!
The Church teaches of Papal Authority, in fact VC2 never said about taking out the Latin language, but people took it out. If you are a true Catholic, you need to follow Papl teaching, because he is the vicar of Christ. God does not care about what you feel or your opinion. He gives you the truth and freedom to choose it. He does not bend over for anyone. The Holy Spirit was present in VC2. but people made up the false VC2 spirit.

@tylerjensen321 Hi there! Lemme show you:
In Christ.

So humans who experience the crown chakra level could be said to be united with full Reality
zetetic0void 1 year ago
So is total devotion (not arguing on youtube about his historicity) to Christ in your mind the same basic method of attaining experience of Union with "God" (which is attained at the crown chakra)
zetetic0void 1 year ago
part4... and so I may offend others' beliefs but I feel Christ was not the only "son of "God" but anyone who can see past the duality (as the Gospel of Thomas has stated with the mention of the section about the inner like the outer, the upper like the lower, the male like the female .. will enter the Kingdom) can experience being 'connected' to the Absolute Reality which Christians label with the word "God" - and this is very impossible to accurately put into limited human language.
zetetic0void 1 year ago
Humanity twists the context of Christianity because humanity itself is born sinful. Why would darkness adhere to the light?
sumnergurl19 1 year ago
"Humanity twists the context of Christianity "
------
Actually I agree but perhaps differently than your statement.
I feel the original Christianity was basically hijacked and altered and a mythological symbolism placed onto it.
One should really investigate Paul(or Saul ) of Tarsus and his influence upon things and also the influence of Emperor Constantine. An Emperor having altered the entire history of this religion is interesting to say the least.
zetetic0void 1 year ago
part... what I find interesting are some of the banned and "destroyed" texts which the Roman Catholic Church did not include in the New Testament when they assembled it.
The Gospel of Thomas is very interesting (rediscovered in 1945) as it is said to be 'secret sayings' of Jesus and the implication is for you to interpret them.
One section sounds so Taoist or Buddhist ... enter the Kingdom when you make the opposing parts of duality as one( inner like outer, upper like lower).
zetetic0void 1 year ago
it was Saul of Tarsus before the whole "going blind" incident, after which he converted to Christianity and changed his name to Paul.
and I'm very happy you didn't flame my comment even though you didn't quite agree point-blank. Thank you :)
sumnergurl19 1 year ago
Religion itself is not necessarily a bad thing. It's main purpose, one would think, is to instill teachings of good will and patience.
I'm not a man of God, but I don't think religion causes problems. People do. Plain and simple. People who misinterpret religion and use it in selfish ways can be dangerous.
This is why religion is looked down upon.
Tsugimoto1 1 year ago
This is a very wise outlook. You are correct, in my opinion. Religion does not cause trouble - it is those who seek to use it to their own ends that cause the sorrow of the world.

Paul encourages slaves to respect their masters in (cont)
darkelfmerc7 1 year ago
(cont) 1 Timothy 6:1-3.

I like how you automatically assumed I was an American (I am, but that's beside the point)
darkelfmerc7 1 year ago
Historically speaking, there's only one reason slavery remained, and it certainly wasn't economical. Simply put, it was financially beneficial to everyone, and although it was secretly against everyone's morals, nobody put their foot down and everyone just turned a blind eye because it would cost them money if they were to stop it.

so saving the literature, art, sciemnce and philospohy of civilization after the fall of rome was a harm to the world? Starting the modern university, hospital and school was such a bad thing? Establishing the modern use of written laws such as evidence and precedence was just evil, right? Demanding that people become better and do better than they think they are capable causes so much harm?
bklynbroker 2 years ago
I could go on but, although you claim "religion" does all of this harm to the world but you really mean christianity you just don;t have the courage to say it. Meanwhile secular haministic ideologies like marxism and socialism have claimed probably 200 million lives in the last century. Islamic jihadism kills muslims and non-muslims indiscriminately but you would run like a little girl if you thought you had offended a muslim by saying islam causes harm, right?
bklynbroker 2 years ago
Islam causes great harm in the world.
Christianity causes great harm in the world.
Hinduism causes great harm in the world.
etc, etc, etc.
Not listing them all was for brevity, not cowardice fool!
Actually, Christianity destroyed far more of the knowledge of ancient Rome than it saved. Most of the preservation of science was done by the Muslims. The only reason we have as much ancient philosophy left as we do is because the Catholic church kept copies of all the forbidden (cont)
darkelfmerc7 1 year ago
(cont) knowledge they had BANNED so they'd know what to look for. Hell, some ignorant monk nearly destroyed Archimedes' most important works when he inked a prayer book over them! And a Catholic bishop burned some of Da Vinci's most "controversil" aka ground-breaking notebooks!
Also, neither Marxism nor Socialism are secular haminist (spelling yours) philosophies. Humanism is just the generic belief in the promotion of ethics, reason and justice. It's only called (cont)
darkelfmerc7 1 year ago
(cont) SECULAR humanism to distinguish it from RELIGIOUS humanism which is the same general philosophy only based in a belief in the supernatural.
I'd love to hear how you arrived at 200 million people killed by Marxism and Socialism, considering how few movements have ever followed those ideologies. If you're thinking of communism, that's completely different and would have given old Marx apoplexy if he'd lived to see it. (I'm neither a Marxist or a Socialist by the way)
darkelfmerc7 1 year ago
where does christianity cause harm? and where is your proof of this destruction of the knowledge of ancient Rome?
bklynbroker 1 year ago
Well, first off many of the tribes who sacked Rome practiced Arianism which was a form of Christianity, so it could be said that Christianity destroyed Rome itself. There are many other instances so I'll list only a few for the sake of brevity:
-The murder of the scientist & philosopher Hypatia in 415 at the behest of the Archbishop of Alexandria and the burning of all her works.
-The 4th Church Council of Carthage in 398 banned the reading of non-Christian books (cont)
darkelfmerc7 1 year ago
(cont)
(this was during the final years of the Roman Empire after the Emperors forced Christianity on the masses)
-Emperor Theodosius II had all non-Christian books burned in 448
-Emperor Justinian closed the Platonic Academy in Athens in 529 and Christian mobs burned the works of many Greek scholars.
-Throughout the Middle Ages the church inked over countless pages of Greek scientific and philosophical manuscripts with prayer books.
-Also the church's support of kings as appointed by god(cont)
darkelfmerc7 1 year ago
Which tribes that sacked ancient Rome were Arians (a christian heresy, not christianity by the way)?
None of your examples prove your point. The action of one person does not stand for the entire group and certainly does not prove that Christianity destroyed Roman knowledge.
I have never heard that about the Council of Carthage. If that were true then why there are many saints such as Augustine and Thomas Aquinas who were disobeying the council? They were well versed in the ancient scholars
bklynbroker 1 year ago
@darkelfmerc7 Unfortunately, your standard for defining the Christian is cultural, not Biblical. "Christian" simply means "little Christ," so if you take your so-called examples of Christians and measure them against the doctrines of Jesus and Paul, are they really Christians?
nico10035 1 year ago
Actually if it wasn't for Chirstianity (Catholic), Western civilization probably wouldn't be here. So, in a way they have contributed more to this world then anyone thinks. Don't believe me? Just read history books from the fall of the Roman empire to the 10th century.
evilfreddy2006 1 year ago
Just about the entirety of modern western civilization was developed in Greece and Rome before anyone had ever heard of Christianity. Concepts like civil liberties and democracy were lost with the fall of Rome and recovered not in the 13-odd centuries of the Medieval Catholic church but in the SINGLE century of the Enlightenment, most of whose proponents were if not deists or freethinkers at least anti-clericalists.

gamewraith 2 years ago 54
Humanity can never damn anyone; it is God who damns. The Holy Church, with the authority of Christ Himself, holds the teachings that all men must follow to be saved. Those who do not abide by these teachings and laws are damned, for by not obeying, they are consequently hating God Himself. The Vatican II sect hates God, for they wish to destroy His eternal law through heresy and modernism, and in many ways already have! To save souls, one must fight heresy. Inexorably, one must fight Vatican II
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago

evilfreddy2006 1 year ago
I completely agree- but it is not all of them damning each other- often times it is just the churches' elites, because normal people don't have the 'spiritual authority' to excommunicate
dee1195 2 years ago
Heretics cannot excommunicate the faithful. Thus, these "church elites" you speak of, unless they completely reject Vatican II and the modernist heresy, as well as recognize that every man who has called himself pope since the death of His Holiness Pope Pius XII has been a manifest heretic, are false teachers and have no authority whatsoever. Their apostolic orders are null and void, they cannot confer the sacraments, and are destined for hell.
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
By adhering and preaching heresy, the men are automatically excommunicated from the Church (Pope Pius XII, Mystici Corporis Christi, 1943). They are not even Catholic. They are to be completely ignored, unless for purposes of having them recant and save their souls.

belikewater85 1 year ago 2
@gamewraith
Actually Christ did a lot of damning himself, look it up in the Bible, he actually demands people to follow him or go to hell.
croscream 1 year ago
@gamewraith The Catholic Church damns no one, nor does she know who goes to hell. The Church only proposes the truth given to her by Christ through the Apostles, and in doing so hopes to get people to heaven rather than damn them to hell. That's the Church's purpose. If you knowingly, willfully reject the truth and die in that state, you will by your own choice go to hell. But the Church won't know it. Only God knows. The Church fervently prays and hopes for everyone's salvation, not damnation.

The point is that we have to unite against the true evil which is seeking to destroy the Church and until unity is restored we all just have to pray and do the best that we can.
bridgetvdp22 2 years ago
In the words of St. Paul, "who has bewitched you not to obey the Truth?" (Galatians 3:1). You see before you the crisis of the Faith, and yet you cling to the teaching of heretics. The vast majority of Christians during the Arian heresy thought they held onto orthodoxy, so much so that only around one percent of bishops were orthodoxy. Yet orthodoxy prevailed, just as Christ did, and shall at the end of time.
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
It does not matter, as St. Basil teaches, if the number is only a handful of true believers, whilst the rest of the world falls into heresy. Those handful are the Church, and shall never be destroyed. Christ promised this, and if you do not believe this, then you call Christ a liar. You are spitting in the eye of God. You should be ashamed of your blasphemy and lie prostrate for days to seek forgiveness!
The Church needs not lukewarm souls. If you do not want to defend the Faith, stand aside.
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
To say that the man who calls himself pope may teach whatever he wishes, even if that teaching is directly repugnant to the laws set down by the Church since the beginning, through the authority established by our Saviour Himself, is to say that you believe the Truth may shift with whatever wind may blow. The Church cannot change, as God cannot change. Anything else is heresy. Repent or lose your soul to the everlasting fire.
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
The Pope can not teach whatever he wants; he teaches what the Church has taught for 2009 years and he defends the faith and orthodoxy of the Church. YOU MUST REPENT FOR CALLING THE POPE A HERETIC OR YOU WILL FACE CHRIST WHEN YOU DIE AND HE WILL NOT BE GENTLE ON YOUR JUDGEMENT FOR WHAT YOU HAVE SAID ON THE POPE; THE MAN CHRIST CHOSE TO REPRESENT HIM ON EARTH. YOU SIR OR MISS IS THE HERETIC AND THAT MEANS YOU ARE NOT IN FULL COMMUNION OF THE CHURCH!
pio99111 2 years ago
V. Frond pub.)
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
But if there are no Orthodox Catholic pope, as you says, how on earth will there come a true pope? You sedevacantists says that the Vatican is occupied by heretics but how will they cast out the heretics and install a true pope?
94David 2 years ago
Just because the man who calls himself the Vicar of Christ is a heretic does not mean that the entirety of the Magisterium is heretical. While it is certainly the case that there are several heretical priests, bishops and cardinals, there are still those who hold orthodox positions. The efforts of these men shall separate the sheep from the goats, and will herald the restoration of Christ's Church.
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
Can you please answer my question?
94David 2 years ago
I have - those members of the Magisterium who are not heretics, not tainted by the heresy of Vatican II, will prevail and elect a true pope, who shall usher in the restoration of the Church as predicted by Our Lady of La Salette. Please read my response before asking me to repeat it.
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
You are the heretic; there has been 264 popes in the Catholic Church; starting with St. Peter. You who say there is no Orthodox Pope; you are the heretic; because he has been choosen by Christ Himself to represent Christ on earth until Christ returns. The Pope protects the Orthodox teachings of the Church and to say he does not; that makes you a heretic and that means you are no longer in communion with the Church.
pio99111 2 years ago
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
Just because a man claims to be the pope does not make it so, nor is a man that is elected legitimately to the throne of St. Peter given a sort of Protestant "eternal security" of infallibility. The pope may still become a heretic, and therefore be outside the communion of the Church.
YOU are the heretic for believing in the modernist, Protestant dogmas of the Vatican II sect. Orthodoxy prevails once more. Repent or be damned, heathen.

@bridgetvdp22 what is this true evil then?
DaLi1337 2 years ago
You cannot condemn the norvus ordo for following the new mass because they have an allegiance to Rome and the Pope, regardless of what he preaches. FOR THE MAJORITY, they believe they are doing the right thing and I don't think God will send them to hell for doing what their conscience tells them is right. The same applies to the sedevecantists...
bridgetvdp22 2 years ago
bridgetvdp22, Do you know what Norvus Ordo means? The new Mass which you speak of is the old Latin Rite Mass that has been used for 2009 years and it is still in use today. You and a few others are not in full communion with the Church; because you called Christ's representive a heretic. That means you even call St. Peter; the first Pope a heretic; which means you are actually the heretic and you and these other people here are excommunicated automatically.

What do you guys have to say about the Orthodox Church? I'd love to hear this one...

Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
This position is supported by countless papal proclamations, but I shall only use one - Pope Eugene IV, Cantate Domino, 1442, ex cathedra: "The Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that all those who are outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans but also Jews or heretics and schismatics, cannot have a share in eternal happiness; but that they will go into the everlasting fire which was prepared for the Devil and his Angels (Matt 25: 41)..."
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
unless they unite themselves to the Church before their death; and that so precious is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those who abide in it can benefit from the Churchs Sacraments for their salvation, and that they alone can receive an eternal recompense for their fasts, almsgiving and other works of piety and practices of the Christian militancy.
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
No one, no matter how much he has given in alms and even if he has shed blood for the name of Christ, can be saved, unless he has persevered in the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church."
If you do not believe this doctrine, you are not a Catholic. If you are not a Catholic, you are damned. I pray that you see the truth and convert.

well if you want to be faithfull to the church you have to admit that non christion's can go to heaven because the church has had a some what librial veiw on orther religion's since the 1940's an it's only got more librail

Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
yeah acording to wikipedia what the vatican said's is the law an they can change it as they think nessacery
an if you hate any part of the vatican or do not acept a pope you are a heretic
cattholictribute13 2 years ago
The words and edicts of heretics are not edicts at all; they are heresy. Vatican II was ushered and administered by heretics; it's edicts were heretical; it's fruits are heretical. It is inexorable that whoever believes in heretics is himself a heretic.
What more proof do you need? When you are before Christ in His divine majesty, you shall have no excuse for your denial of the truth. You shall perish for all time, with no relief. Repent or be damned, heretic.

yeah i get that

cattholictribute13 2 years ago 2
Firstly, please learn the English language if you wish to converse and argue whilst speaking it. Secondly, your argument makes no sense - if the current "pope" is just as heretical as the "established authority" (i.e. the majority of the Magisterium), this does not excuse the actions of either party. They are still heretics! One cannot be a Catholic and hold heretical opinions, and seeing that they do, they cease to have any authority over the Church.
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
FIRST YOU KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING
SECONDLY you can not say that you don't acept the pope or the vatican an be a catholic
just like a budhist can not say that he dislike's the dahli lama an be a buddhist
cattholictribute13 2 years ago
One can be a Buddhist and still not recognize the Dalai Lama as a sort of prime authoritative figure. There are several denominations, for lack of a better term, of Buddhism, but that is besides the point.
I do not accept HERESY. I accept orthodoxy. I therefore reject those proponents of heresy, and resist them to the face. If a man claims to be the Vicar of Christ and is a heretic, he must be rejected as an impostor. This is definitive Church teaching, as I have already stated previously.
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
By accepting heretics to hold claim to the papacy, you yourself are a heretic and destined for hell. Unless you sever any and all ties with their heresy, including the apostate "church" they have established, you are condemned.
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
Lastly, I may know the substance of what you're saying, but for future reference, please converse in proper English. A Catholic should perfect his usage of language as he perfects all of his mannerisms.
But this is precisely the problem. Those who call themselves Catholic have been so influenced by the modernist heresy, thanks to the heretical antipopes of the past fifty years, have forgotten even basic decency and dignity in speech, dress and behavior.

How did you even come to an understanding of heresy without relying on previous infallible decrees of validly elected popes? Sola Scriptura?? Now you're just another protestant. I guess that makes 35,001 denominations as opposed to 35,000 before yours.
joejoejoejoeify 2 years ago
Bottom Line:
It is an absolute historical fact that Benedict XVI was validly elected by the college of cardinals and is therefore infallible. To claim he is a false pope is to reject an article of the Faith. To reject an article of the Faith is to choose damnation.
joejoejoejoeify 2 years ago
By the way, valid Catholic prophecy states that the Antichrist will reign for only a few years; so clearly Vatican II is not the seat of the Antichrist.
One more reason you are wrong (among thousands): Christ promised the gates of Hell would not prevail against His church. If Vatican II was what you are claiming it is, Christ's promise would have been violated, which obviously is impossible.
joejoejoejoeify 2 years ago
Vatican II was a false council that created an entirely new religion. The New Mass is a sacrilege, worse than any Protestant service, as it claims to be Catholic, when it is in fact idolatry and heretical, and certainly invalid. The essential form of the consecration has been changed so that there is no change that takes place, so whoever attends the service is worshiping bread. The Vatican II sect is the Whore of Babylon, and the True Church must come out of hiding. Resist heresy to the face!
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
Though Vatican II has indeed been twisted by Satan more than anything else; the fundamentals of the council itself has the blessing of the Vicar of Christ.
He who rejects the Vicar of Christ rejects Christ. He who rejects Christ chooses his own damnation.
joejoejoejoeify 2 years ago
There has been no true pope since the death of Pius XII. John XXIII, Paul VI and all the post-conciliar popes are not even Catholics, as proven by the fact that the false Vatican II council promoted and promulgated heresy. No true pope would condone this, and since these men did, they incur automatic excommunication. The Vatican II sect is not the Bride of Christ, but the seat of the Antichrist. He who follows this false religion will perish in the fire prepared for the Devil and his angels.
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
Here is your fundamental philosophical flaw:
You judge whether or not a pope is "true" by whether or not you agree with his decrees, as if YOU were the one preserved from error by the Holy Spirit. It is true that there can be anti-popes, but this is determined not by looking at their decrees, but by looking at the circumstances and validity of their election.
The undeniable fact is that Benedict XVI, JPII, etc., are all the valid successors of peter and therefore the VICARS OF CHRIST!
joejoejoejoeify 2 years ago
I do not judge, I merely present the evidence. St. Robert Bellarmine taught correctly that those who hold heretical positions cannot be Catholic, and by the very nature of the papacy, a Catholic must be pope. Post-conciliar popes teach the salvation of non-Catholics, that the Old Covenant is still valid, that the Jews don't need to be converted for their salvation, that Lutherans hold orthodox teaching with regards to justification, and much more. Even one heresy damns a man to hell.
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
Please do not lie and act as if you could care less about my soul, it is clear you do not. And that is one of the main proofs of all you foolish schismatics who think YOU are the actual true Church; there is no real virtue in you. You will never produce a saint.
joejoejoejoeify 2 years ago
But your logical procession is fallacious.
Heresy is what Christ says it is.
The Vicar of Christ alone infallibly speaks for Christ.
You are absolutely right that a true pope could not hold a heretical position. But one cannot look at a position held by a valid pope and say "that is heresy." That is a logical contradiction; for the pope defines what is and is not heresy. It would be like looking at the Standardized kg in France and saying it isn't a kilogram!
joejoejoejoeify 2 years ago
The validity of the post-conciliar popes elections can be called into question, but that is besides the point; even if the pope were validly elected, he cannot erase what has been defined dogmatically ex cathedra by the previous occupants of his office, and by the laws of Christ Himself. For example, the form of the consecration has been changed fundamentally, erasing the words of Christ with those of men. No man may elevate his words to replace those of God. This very one thing makes all these
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
"popes" destined for hell. You put your faith in men who hate Christ and his Church. You put your faith in Antichrist. See your heresy or burn in everlasting fire.
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
As I already pointed out, you are clearly in error about the antichrist since this person can only reign for a few years, based on valid Catholic prophecy.
Rejecting the Vicar of Christ is the same as rejecting Christ, and it is an undeniable fact that Benedict XVI is the Vicar of Christ.
So I return the saem command to you:
See your heresy or burn in everlasting fire.
joejoejoejoeify 2 years ago 2
You will not find any such heresy in a papal encyclical.
joejoejoejoeify 2 years ago
And tell me this: do you believe that Jews can be saved in their denial of Christ? Do you believe that Protestants can be saved without joining the Catholic Church? Do you value the Muslims and Buddhists, pagans and witches, as your equals? Your false ecumenicism is a denial of the truth, and you shall dwell in death forever because of your heresy.
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
The current antipope, Benedict XVI, is clearly a manifest heretic, yet you cling to him as if he had authority. What will it take for you to see that he is not a Catholic, but a usurper sent by Satan? Throughout his body of work, Benedict XVI displays his numerous heresies against the Faith, including, but not limited to: the rejection of infant baptism (God and the World, p. 401-402), that the Mass need not have words of consecration (Pilgrimage Fellowship of Faith, p. 232)...
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
...that Protestantism is not heresy (The Meaning of Christian Brotherhood, p.
Nothwithstanding 2 years ago
And you are the worst kind of thief; not one who steals material things, which are of, ultimately, no importance, but of spiritual things. You pervert the words of Christ to fit your heresy. You are the tools of Satan, and unless you see your hideous sins, you shall spend an eternity with he whom you serve - Lucifer.

The church has abandoned it. its called Vatican Council II my friend. They rejected it basically. One day it shall sound in all the churches again I hope and believe.
lionhasalreadybe 2 years ago
No, individual Priests and liberal Bishops abandoned it, not Vat II. The Council demanded its' retention in the Constitution on Sacred Liturgy. This is one thing that can not be blamed on Vat II but on its' false "spirit" interpretation. Latin too was to be retained according to Council documents. Any Catholic who denies the Sacred Constitution even if their Priest does is in just as much formal error. Pass along the truth of the documents to others and it will return.
SanLUZARDO 2 years ago
Man! Everything can be blamed on VCII. It was an abomination as all knowing persons know. Everything wrong in the world today can be blamed on Vat.II It was a council of Evil. EVIL!!!
lionhasalreadybe 2 years ago
If you actually read the documents VC2 produce, you would realize how wrong you are. It was liberal theologans in the Church that distoreted the truth. VC2 was a council to find out ways to evangelize a very troubled world at the time. Change has happen because we have allowed it to happen not because of the council. Trust me I am very traditonalist person.
evilfreddy2006 2 years ago
I don't care what anyone says. VC2 was an abomination of PURE evil, and now, everyone knows it. It has produced no fruit but has yielded poison. It should never have been convened, the whole point was to modernize the church. Ah! and that they did!
lionhasalreadybe 2 years ago
The Church teaches of Papal Authority, in fact VC2 never said about taking out the Latin language, but people took it out. If you are a true Catholic, you need to follow Papl teaching, because he is the vicar of Christ. God does not care about what you feel or your opinion. He gives you the truth and freedom to choose it. He does not bend over for anyone. The Holy Spirit was present in VC2. but people made up the false VC2 spirit.
