Nice review mate. two questions, is the touchpad a physical button (so it gets pushed down) or does it work from just being taped?

Also, does apple's version of word, powerpoint etc come free on every macbook? From what i've heard you need to buy alot of extra's for macs

Good review but I have to ask, did you not have an issue with the price? I would get one straight away but the price is a real issue for me. I could do with a new laptop for my final year of university but I've never really had any issues with Windows and I can get better specs for less money on a PC. I just want a change, really. What do you think?

Here's the deal. I want a laptop that can run games fairly good, play hd movies easily, edit some movies on imovie fast, and just simply open up applications fast and have a fast seamless experience. for this should i get the new macbook air with sandybridge processors that are soon coming out or just get this laptop. im leaning towards the new air because its just so sexy and flash memory. thoughts???

Dude it isn't your Internet that's slow. The computer is taking a long time doing DNS lookups (DNS lookups basically change a web address like YouTube.com into an IP address like 99.528.518.56). Change your DNS server to something like Open DNS and pages will probably load much quicker

You need to speak louder. Your voice is hardly audible. keep in mind that these days laptop computers, iPads, iPods, etc. Where majority of YouTube videos are viewed have very low powered speakers compared to full-fledged desktops and speaker systems.

@javogreen07  hey :) well i did it in the simplist way, when i got my macbook, i copied everything from my windows laptop onto a flash drive (memory stick) and then just plugged it into the mac and saved all my files, by far the quickest and easiest was to do it :) hope this helped :D

@GrimphillTech I guess he has the problem with disc formats on his mind.. the one called NTFS - from what i've heard, OS X can't read partitions (hdds, flash drives, ..) in NTFS and so the only way is FAT32 with its 4 GB limit.. which sucks sometimes

@rizafoo hey, well in the UK there are 2 levels of discount, one for people still in school, and then a higher discount for university students. Im not at university yet but the discount is much higher, i just took a friend of mine with me and got him to buy the macbook, that way i get the university discount, are you from the UK?
