ds is just lazy is all. if you look at crystal chronicles or the tales games on ds ( even tho their jap ) their so smooth in theyre 3d. obvioulsy graphics dont compare to the "glorious" psp but the games run well. tomb raider on ds just looks gross. 2d char in 3d environment? egh

The Nokia Ngage managed to have a complete 3d port of the playstation tomb raider, why then on the DS which is more powerful have they gone for side scrolling It looks like a gba game. I would say eidos wern't trying, but the ps2 Anniversary looks amazing, really pushing the limits of what the ps2 could do. I'm sure the ds can do better!

The first 5 Tomb Raider were awesome, but I've seen these news like Angel of Darkness and Aniversary, they have better graphics but they all suck, I really expected so much about those games. I really love The last revelation and Chronicles.

I kinda agree with you. First five Tomb Raiders was very chalengin but these new Raiders are easy. Legend and Anniversary are almost same. You can't get stuck and Anniversary was full of climbing walls. It went little old already. I miss times where I searched months for last wheel at Lost Valley on original Tomb Raider :D

I've played tomb raider legend on every console, and trust me, it is best on the Xbox 360 and DS. This is because the graphics are amazing on the Xbox 360 as there are no jagged edges on the screen and the environment is muchly rich. However, the DS version is actually quite fun because you scale the levels faster. Finally the PSP's camera controls are difficult as you can't move whilst you move the camera. Luckily it was fixed for tomb raider anniversary on the PSP.

I've seen Most Wanted for DS... Definitely a shitty effort. Carbon was good, though. It still doesn't have free roam but atleast the actual racing is solid enough. One of the best I've seen on the DS, and it has actual songs.

Not true, a UMD actually holds more than a DS cart. Don't get me wrong, I like the DS far more, but saying the DS' small game cart can hold as much as the UMD is just ignorant. That's like saying the DS has better graphical processors. I don't really care, though, as the DS wasn't meant for graphics.

the umd can hold more than the ds cart, but wat im saying is that when people make games for the ds, they leave most of the cart just empty space, the only games that i've seen on ds that utilize like all of its space is metroid prime hunters, also i hear that UMDs can hold up to 1.8gb, and i've seen ds carts range all the way from 257mb all the way to 2gb, and i've seen illegal ones that can even hold 8gb! also the ds has the gba slot, on its internet browser it holds a 10mb ram expansion card

Also, I disagree. Metroid Prime Hunters lacked in story mode, to a HUGE degree. They could've included suit upgrades, actual space pirates, phazon, screw attack, and a shit load more to the single player, but they waste it on flashy FMV's which only serve to mock the ingame graphics. It's good for multiplayer but they clearly washed up the single player.

yea, its single player was nothing compared to the gamecube versions, but such a huge multplayer and a pretty good single player combined is impressive to me, let alone that it was on ds, usually games that have huge multiplayer have short, or crappy single player, like halo, on xbox. it has a really short single player but one of the best multiplayers on earth, also, i love the FMVs, they bring more drama to the game unlike previous metroid games

Previous metroid games actualy put more drama in it, the FMV's were mostly just the plane and the end boss... which always were the same rooms just different skills. BORING!

Instead of gaining new skills to break new puzzles, you already had all the skills, so to "break puzzles" you just needed to open new doors with new gun ammo.

Thus no more puzzles, no more storyline, just brainless metroid skin over a FPS. Multiplayer nontheless great, but I miss 2d Metroid.

Metroid was more focused on the multiplayer online part rather then the storyline, which was to my dissapointment aswell, but online it completely took first price in FPS.

The DS Cards actualy hold up to 256mb, I don't think games actualy go to 512mb. The higher capacity as before mentioned are with SD cards, 4/8 gb cards even with UDHC [if that was the right term]

Official DS cards range at max to 256/512mb, which, doing the math, should be obviously a fourth to an eighth of PSP

The DS, has way more addicting games then the PSP, clearer sound, runs way faster, battery lasts forever, convenient to actually bring around, and is much more fun then the PSP. I also seemed to ALWAYS have a terrible time seeing the psp screen in the sunlight (road trips etc). I just like the DS (and the homebrew that can run on it is AWESOME). So yes, lots of people play the DS

continued...I bought an original DS but hated it, then I bought a PSP and REALLY hated it (noisy as hell, battery lasted 3 hours max so I always had to recharge it, slooooow monotonous loading, just never had any fun with it at all) it was really only fun for music and movies which killed the battery anyway, and even GTA was just garbage on that thing. So I returned THAT and finally got a DS lite and I LOVE IT. Sure it sucks at Tomb Raider, but so does the PSP.

Yes, believe it or not the DS is actually played by millions. Honestly, the fully 3D games are way overdone on both the PSP and the DS. A lot of you need to consider the fact that consoles/PC are always ahead of handhelds, so there's no rationality in comparing the two. As far as console debate, both handhelds are pretty cool with some hangups...
