Really nice video. It's cool to see you have kept all your original stuff. I unfortunately did not which I could kick myself for. I have since rebought everything I had, but it's not the same, you know? It's not "mine". Anyway, subbed. Thanks.
@chrisrko1982 : I was lucky enough to be an "older" kid when the NES came out. I was a freshman in high school, so I took care of my stuff better. I wish I kept my Atari stuff in better condition. I just have a portion of those games left and the system was destroyed in a basement flood. Thank God my NES stuff survived. I'm glad you re-built your collection, though!
@gabbogabbo : I know...boxed games are expensive and hard to find. I was just lucky enough to keep my boxes and manuals. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@DavyCrockettFan1 : Most NES games were $29.99 when they came out. I remember games like Mighty Bomb Jack and Solomon's Key being discounted to $19.99 at Kay Bee Toys stores when they weren't selling. Other games like Double Dragon and Super Mario Bros 2 debuted at a $39.99 price point. It was a great time for games though!!
Congrats on keeping your collection in such good shape. If you check Amazon alot of those boxed games and especially the boxed NES will go for alot of money. But if you are like me, you wouldn't sell your games for your life. Have a good day.
@HoneyIEducatedTheWeb : No you're correct in your observation. I enjoy more "arcade" type games more than games that take hours upon hours to complete. Therfore you could call me a casual gamer...who is a hardcore collector! LOL! :-) Thanks for commenting and sorry for the SLOW response!
That's amazing... You I wish I was old enough to enjoy NES and still see all the games int he stores... But I was born into the gamecube, however I did have an NES from my grandpa... (Starting up an NES collection)
i might have a stinger manual id send ya for a game or something. if you have any doubles. check out my collection update video. im about to break 500 games. nice video man!!
Good work keeping your stuff mint. All my boxes and stuff got stepped on and ruined in the 90's. It's hard to keep that stuff mint over the span of a few decades, but I'm sure you know that :)
@MadeAugust18th : No it really hasn't changed too much. But I've been moving things around ... mostly my Sega Genesis and Gameboy stuff. I need to find more room! Argh!! LOL!
@soulblaser : Well I wouldn't say my Tengen Tetris BOX is mint. The cartridge is mint. But the box took wear and tear when I loaned it to my friend Debbie years ago. $50 bucks each, huh! Woah!
@Caztro72I think it's awesome that bubble bobble is your fav., but have you played snow brothers, I didn't see it in the video. It not only is better than bubble bobble (very similar, less buggy, excellent 2 player), it's one of the rarest games out there, in the hundreds if boxed. I'm jealous of your collection, boxes and manuals for the most part were lost or damaged when I was younger so I'm re-collecting nowadays. A fuzzy feeling goes with these old school games for me, I still play them.
@desconocidos27 : Thank you man! I really love the NES. My boxed NES collection is great. Can't wait to reveal my "loose" NES cart collection sometime! Thank you for your support!
@SeanOrange : Thanks for the kind comment! I really tried to keep my NES library in good condition back in the day. I was a freshman in High School when Nintendo came out and I did a better job with maintaining my NES stuff than I did with my Atari 2600 back in grade school! LOL! Thanks again!
@FenderLesPaul1989 : You know I meant to pick up Rygar for the PS2 a long time ago. And it slipped by me. Then that same game got re-invented for the Wii and I still missed it! I may try to pick it up. But I'm sure it won't have the same "flavor" as the original. It looks somewhat "God of War"-ish.
Congrats Caztro! Nice to see you hit a milestone and nice to see an NES BOXED collection awesome work man. Could you put a rear delt workout up one day? Thanks again man and keep going strong!
@WhiteGirlsAsianPLZ : Ah, the rear delts! I work these along with my lats and traps! Standing bent over flys with dumbells are usually a good exercise for rear delts. And most gyms have a machine that can focus in on these muscles. Maybe someday I'll do a video for them. LOL! Thanks for your comments!
Thanks for the shout out! Big props on your subs, very well deserved. As a kid i never really bought boxed games, i would only get games when i would go to the flea market on saturday mornings with my dad. Nice collection!

@ThatGuyARH : Believe it or not, but I was somewhat skeptical of the NES when it first came out. We were already burned by Atari back then. My (younger) brother asked for the NES. I just hoped on board and eventually became the primary user! LOL!

@RoyStorey : Yeah, Solstice is pretty tough! I've never even attempted to pass it. As for LOTW ... I thought it to be impossible! But scroll down to vinnieblacklodge's comments on this page! He BEAT this game!! Props!!
@SystemSyko : Really? I haven't heard of that one. Luckily all the games in this video work fine without blowing. I've always kept them clean. My flea market loose carts are another story! LOL! Sometimes I have to pray to the Nintendo gods to make those games run!
@eSkilliam : Thanks! I kept everything in good collection. I just wish I hadn't seperated the manuals from the boxes. Then I wouldn't have had that mishap with the missing booklets. Oh well. I need to find instructions for those 4 games and I'll be complete. ROB truly is one of my prized possessions! LOL!
@TheUltimatePheonix : LOL! Yeah, people always blow into them. Really a cotton swab and some isopropyl alcohol will make them play like new! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@Caztro72 : France is a beautiful country for a lot of things but certainly not for video games XD.There are not many old games in good condition in shops. And when it does it's very expensive, for exemple 100 euro (122 dollars US) for Metal Gear 1 Nes complete mint condition.
@AzumaKazuma31 : Oh my goodness! That is a lot of money for just one NES game! Even for Metal Gear! Well, I guess if you live in France, it is best to hold on to your old games and keep them in good condition! Thanks again for commenting!
i sat down last summer and beat legacy of the wizard after spending 15 years only every making it to this room that you have to memorize floors or something. one of my favorite games today cause you turn it on, and go adventure down under the ground.
@vinnieblacklodge : I give you major props for beating this game, man! I think Legacy of the Wizard to be an impossible game that takes inhuman patience!! I LOVE the music for this game! I should sit my ass down and beat it too ... but I'm scared I might go into convulsions half way through the adventure! LOL!
@Caztro72 i should mention it was in the system for almost 5 days and i played it 8 hours a day or so drawing maps and figuring out whos power can be used where. i did have to look up their powers but i figured they were in the manual anyways so i didnt feel like it spoiled like a guide ouwld do.
@vinnieblacklodge : Yeah, I just flipped through the manual. There are descriptions of what items each character should use and their abilities. So researching that info is fair game. Still, major props. This game is just way too daunting for me! You've got skilz, my friend!
Really nice video. It's cool to see you have kept all your original stuff. I unfortunately did not which I could kick myself for. I have since rebought everything I had, but it's not the same, you know? It's not "mine". Anyway, subbed. Thanks.

@AzumaKazuma31 : Thank you so much! Do they have used game shops in France? I visited Paris 2 years ago ... you have a beautiful country!
Caztro72 1 year ago
@Caztro72 : France is a beautiful country for a lot of things but certainly not for video games XD.There are not many old games in good condition in shops. And when it does it's very expensive, for exemple 100 euro (122 dollars US) for Metal Gear 1 Nes complete mint condition.
AzumaKazuma31 1 year ago

LOL!

@Caztro72 i should mention it was in the system for almost 5 days and i played it 8 hours a day or so drawing maps and figuring out whos power can be used where. i did have to look up their powers but i figured they were in the manual anyways so i didnt feel like it spoiled like a guide ouwld do.
vinnieblacklodge 1 year ago
@vinnieblacklodge : Yeah, I just flipped through the manual. There are descriptions of what items each character should use and their abilities. So researching that info is fair game. Still, major props. This game is just way too daunting for me! You've got skilz, my friend!
