I had an abortion when I was in high school, and I am very glad I did! I am so glad I am not in some dead end job struggling with a baby I don't want. I am in college, and I wouldn't have been able to get here if I hadn't had that abortion. I did learn a very valuable lesson about birth control, but I have no regrets about having an abortion. It was a good decision for me.

I had an abortion when I was in high school, and I am very glad I did! I am so glad I am not in some dead end job struggling with a baby I don't want. I am in college, and I wouldn't have been able to get here if I hadn't had that abortion. I did learn a very valuable lesson about birth control, but I have no regrets about having an abortion. It was a good decision for me.

@AshleyH777 I don't know who you are seeing, but I see mother's that went through school, kept their jobs and did very,very well while pregnant and delivering babies. I am one, thank you. I did not recieve one penny from welfare. I do not agree with you one this one at all. In fact, these mother's love more deeply,give more generously of themselves then anyone I know.They did not have to kill their babies to be successful!!

There are lots of women who don't have any support, and in this economy, women without children are struggling to make ends meet. I'm happy you made your choice, but how can you choose for me? Different people's situations are different. You can't know what other people are going through.

You cannot rate human life on a scale of time, place etc. If the mothe cannot afford the children, they would literally starve to death, the mother needs to seek help, not kill her 3rd baby. We live in the U.S. The land flowing of milk & honey, we have excess everything. There is no excuse for anyone to go hungry in America. There is no excuse for a mother to kill her living unborn human baby.

@angelshoulders the US has one of the largest gaps between rich and poor, and some of the worst poverty in the developed world. There is no excuse for anyone to go hungry in America, yet many people do.
Did you know that when you make abortion illegal, the number of abortions remains steady? The only number that changes is that the number of women who die goes up. Making it illegal won't help anything. Working for abortion reduction will.

@CaraIa You really must do some research. The number of legal abortions deaths & the number of illegal abortions deaths are quite different. The number of mortality from legal abortions is much higher then those of illegal deaths. Abortion has NEVER been safe. Not now, not ever. Many mother's are still losing their lives from complications, infections, torn or perforated cervixes & uterus's. These abortionists are assembly line workers, negligently moving from mother to mother, briskly!! Unsafe

@AshleyH777 I keep telling these people that they don't know what will happen in the long run. You may have difficulty having and carrying a child. You may not get pregnant, and your baby may not be healthy. There is something that happens to a woman's body with the first pregnancy, all of what she and her baby's needs is in her body with the first pregnancy. If that child is aborted future pregnancies may have more complications.I hope some wise woman will read this and not kill her baby.

I aborted and don't regret it one bit. Because I aborted I was able to stay in school longer, get the job I have, care for my mother who is disabled... care for others who are handicapped as a life-job as well.
Calling a woman who aborts selfish and cruel is the same as calling a woman who uses lethal force against a rapist selfish..
It's only an unwanted pregnancy =/= It's only unwanted sex: there's no damage done that can't be fixed with a little TLC <3 <3

No, I think anyone who goes into a deep depression about something like that had underlying problems, and the drug use is completely unacceptable. Actually, I think the whole tactic of blaming his drug use on his girlfriend's abortion is symptomatic of the addict's inability to take responsibility. It's HIS fault he used illegal drugs -- no one else's.

No, loseing an unfertalized egg is not the same as a misscarriage. An abortion terminates a child, same as a misscarriage...only one was wanted by the woman. That does not mean the father wouldnt morn HIS child being killed bc he wanted his child but couldnt stop the woman from killing him/her. Only a twit would compair those too terrible scenarios to an unfertalized egg. Your attempt to miss lead failed, but was amusing:)

How in the world can you even attempt to compair an unfertalized egg with a developing child? Once that egg is fertalized and has attached to the uterus there is LIFE. Visionary, you want to defend an embryo because it has its own DNA, and if it gestated it would be a unique person. THE SAME THING is true of an unfertilized egg--if it doesn't meet up with a sperm, it is lost forever. Do you deny that?

Lots of women have abortions without subsequent psychological problems. I think the problem is with HER, and she's blaming it all on the abortion, instead of taking personal responsibility.
