@DeadPixel00 like konrad198 said, it's never too late. i wanted to play the drums when i was 12, but my dad just brushed off playing any instrument as just a fad. it wasn't until i was 16 when i thought to save up some money - even then it was only enough for a cheap acoustic guitar. now i'm in a band and we're gonna record an EP while writing more new songs. even my brother started playing the guitar just last year.

@EminentKnight a drum fill is a played on the drums in empty spots in-between beats, usually consisting of rolls on the snare drum and/or toms. ghost notes are light hits on the snare that are much quieter than normal hits and are used to accent beats.

I can't explain it exactly, but if I were to try, its basically a fast triplet, followed by another hit with your left hand, its called a herta, they have drum lessons on it if you search youtube. Again, its not easy to explain, its easier to see, and try. I taught it to myself after hearing the epic intro to Van Halen's "Hot for Teacher". Once you figure it out, just keep practicing.
