I don't even use pencil much anymore nowadays ever since I've only been working with computers haha. But back in the high school time, it took me about 2 months of nonstop annoying practices. (Annoying as in I annoyed others in my classroom while I was bored). And it was the same for my friends. Less than 5 months for all of them. You should just be annoyingly persistent while practicing. Haha.

I put Chinese songs just to honor my Chinese friends who practiced in pen tricks with me (although I'm mixed Chinese myself) except their tricks with their long ass pencils are way different (they make their pencils like some kind of mini sticks). They do tricks that can't be done with a normal pencil. At the end, I never expected this cheap video to go over 1 000 views. I first made it just for friends at school before.

I don't gang up in a fight... :P I fight independently. I don't like to fight but I have to do it if I must. No matter how precious my hands are. HAHAHA! Well I mostly use elbows, knees and kicks in real fights more than fists. Fists only to "shock" and make diversion hits but not to kill. Maybe that's the secret to keep my hands fine. :P I use pen to stab people's eyes in the streets too. ;)

I don't know... I didn't care that much about my hands. I even thought I would later have messed up hands when I'd grow up (because of Martial Arts and being involved in street fights)... Still the same, just with scars that people can't see at first glare. Maybe some others guys would have an answer for you.

You could find those explanations in Pentrix (dot) com... In my case, I didn't add too many popular tricks in this video. Few of my tricks are unique but I'm more of a kitchen knife trickster than a pen trickster. So, many of my unique moves were inspired from my knife tricks.

The instrumental piece at the end is by the Japanese group "Rin'"... :P There's no vocal. Some kind of "Yoshida Brothers" style but female version (if you know them).

Just a suggestion for beginners. :P I don't know with what type of pen you're trying but it shouldn't be too light. :D
