I'm glad someone finally came out that have the balls to cover this song. The combination with Ali's cover is genius. Ya'll should get together and make some cash :) Just saying.

I will say however that this wasn't perfect, needs a little bit of work. You should get some better headphones to help you with the tempo issue.

I love RJ probably as much as you do and thats why I really dig this video. RJ is simply a god at what he does and I think his videos have proven just that.

i think he is trying to play with, not over the phat grooves jenkees is throwin down...its not so much lack of feeling than lack of recording equipment to compensate for said emotion. did you truly mean "dont stroke your drums"? wouldn't that defeat the sole purpose of playing with feeling, that is, to stroke out of the head/bell/cymbal the emotion that is welled up within? just a philosophy conflict im sure

drummer obviously has a hugeeee ego, nice expensive cymbals.. trying way to much stuff out of his skill level and none of it comes out clean at all.. work on the basics.. if you keep playing thinking everything your doing is already amazing you arent gonna go anywhere.. awful.

I think the drums sound pretty good. You drop the beat a few times, but some of those patterns are pretty tough. Nobody's perfect, and this cover is far better than anything other covers of Ronald's stuff. Congrats on a great song.
