Sir Elton´s great song from 1971 sung by John Bon Jovi. I´m Sir Elton-Fan, but this is great, too. He can do indeed the song very well. Thank you for this.
these passages are from page #17 of The Companions of Jehu written by Alexandre Dumas pere--"Sir, I have heard speak of the Companions of Jesus," replied the magistrate with his jeering smile. "The Jesuits, you mean? That is not what I am seeking, sir."....Elisha consecrated Jehu King of Israel, on condition that he exterminate the house of Ahab; Elisha was Louis XVIII; Jehu was Cadoudal; the house of Ahab, the Revolution.
this is a wonderful and awe inspiring rendition of levon....and he shall be levon....born a pauper to a pawn and a philosopher to the world on a Christmas Day....the crown levon wears is a heavy crown indeed.....and he shall be a good man....
@cottonbroker2088 "The high office of the President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the American's freedom and before I leave office, I must inform the citizen of this plight."
~JFK Michael Tsarion is the worlds premier conspiracy researcher/lecturer/author. Dr. Bill Deagle, Leo Zagami, Jordan Maxwell and Alexandre Dumas pere are highly informative as well. p.s. Melting Euphoria is similar to Ozric Tentacles and Gong.
The intro was actually really good, JBJ surprised me with how well he was singing it (not that I don't like his voice but that I thought this song might be too subtle for his range). But then they turn it all heavy metal and it ruined it for me with the super heavy backbeat and exaggerated guitar. This is not a heavy metal song. I guess you can take the Bon out of the Jovi, but you can't take the Jovi out of the....Bon?
@turoniner "The minority, the ruling class at present, has the schools and press, usually the Church as well, under its thumb. This enables it to organize and sway the emotions of the masses, and make its tool of them."
I love this version. I bought this tribute album when it came out many years ago and Jon Bon Jovi and The Who do the best versions of Elton's songs. I actually like this version of Levon better than Eltons.
Yeah that was great. That's one of the few Elton John songs I really like, and Jon does an excellent cover of it. Of course Jon could sing the alphabet song and I'd swoon!HAHA seriously, it is great. The slides are awesome too! It's a great video. Thanks for sharing sis! And thank you bonjovilover74 for posting it!
and a reasonable facsimile..... not a bad interpretation.....:)
