Max can you help me I try to flash the eternity Rom by virus but says that system has crashed I have hboot 1.5 CDMA EVO and every other Rom the boot animation just freezes
@ypolynice I have the same problem too. I watched his video of manually installing the clockworkmod recovery on my evo 3d, everything went exactly as shown in the video, except that when I click "recovery" the phone shows the white HTC screen, then instead of going into recovery, it just goes black, then the phone starts up as normal. Is this your problem too?
Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? I reboot the phone by holding down the volume down and power button, and it brings up the bootloader screen. I then press volume down to make it highlight "recovery." However, when I press power, it shows the white "HTC," screen, but doesn't bring me to clockworkmod recovery after that. Instead, the screen goes black for a few seconds, and then it just shows the white "HTC" screen again and vibrates once and boots up normally. Can you tell me what's wrong?
@zedomax How do I do that? Do I press "Flash ClockwordMod Recovery" in ROM Manager? Because I've done that, and it confirms that I have an Evo 3D, then it says "Successfully flashed ClockwordMod recovery". However, when I try to boot up into recovery, the phone still just boots up normally. Thanks in advance
@TwilightNX No DON'T DO THAT!!! If you flash from ROM Manager, you will lose your recovery as its not supported, you need to install it manually, its in my rooting post, plz see my site!
@zedomax Oh I see no wonder. I've been flashing through rom manager over and over again and it doesnt work lmao. and what's funny is I just found and was just watching your "how to install clockwordmod recovery manually on your evo 3d" video right before I saw your reply. I'll try that method and see how it turns out. Thanks for helping!
@TwilightNX This is because you're boot version isn't supported by Revolutionary, when you where getting the key you did choose a H-boot version I thnk? Yours isn't in the list. Maybe you have to downgrade to another version but I don't know if that is possible.
Hey max just a heads up, you don't have to pull the battery out every time you want bootloader, here's the best way, go to settings, then power, and check off fastboot, now you can power off and do the procedure. Voilaaa
So let me get this straight... Backup factroy Rom,and all apps...Data factory reset wipe- flash new Rom. If i dont like new Rom, Flash factroy Rom Back...? And What about all the apps that I moved to the SDcard after install? Do I loose them?
Hi, I have TeamWin should i use RomManager To Flash ClockworkMod to the Recovery...? Is there any benefit One Over the other............ And If you Recommend To people to Use RomManager,ect.... they can boot right into the HBOOT.. I know the you know this, but it will save the pain on all of are hands, trying to open that Case...
Thanks Dude your a bloody life saver!!!!
