  • whats the song at 4:03 ?

  • @flanny117 Ashen by Sofa Mecca is the song starting at 4:03.

  • @vanillaisbetter thankyou!

  • So glad they have wilfred in america now

  • @Vampire1684 shame the us version sucks dick.

  • Haha, I wonder if when he talks to Wilfred he's making all these barking noises (from Sarah's POV) and doesn't even know it. LOL!

  • OMG he looks so adorable in that dog costume.

  • personally i like the original better, I dont have anything against the US but the Australian one is better

  • Is Gay?

  • I LOVE the way they pronounce "Nachos"

  • i'm getting a husky and im going to name him wilfred

  • i love wilfred its the only show i know that uses "cunt" in it

  • @cowbow50 Loads of shows use cunt. Characters on the Sopranos said cunt all the time, so did The Wire. Curb Your Enthusiasm occassionally says it. Cunt is quite a frequently used word on tv shows, especially HBO ones, nowadays.

  • Song playing at 4:00 please.........

  • @eduardocmv there are no credits for that song, i think the only song used in the soundtrack is Air Supply's - all out of love

  • @eduardocmv it's by sofamecca song called ashen

  • @OhheyLucy omg thank you so much, how u can get the name¿

  • @eduardocmv it's jason's (guy who plays wilfred) band! ;D and i just looked on his wiki page

  • I'm confused. Is this the whole short film that was submitted to Sundance?

  • what's the track playing at 4:00 ?

  • Skream sent me

  • @SMACKMESIDEWAYS92 no one cares

  • "You got to cough to get off " crazy how he said the same thing to Ryan

  • @MxEaZ2FarGone why's that crazy..it's the same writer.

  • Urm...what is this? Part of the reason Wilfred USA is so good is because Wilfred is the only Australian ¬_¬ This version is OK though...I guess

  • @arancienne yeah, the tone/timing of the FX version makes it much better too!

  • I love aussies

  • I love this show

  • Why did they keep the "weeds" bottle in the US version? Anyway, I like both Australian & US. But writers had to smoke really huge bunch of weeds in writing this series.

  • @pascoesvale it's called a bong, in australia we make our own bongs using a pipe and a water bottle.

  • It seems that Jason worked his accent in the US version, you still see that he has an australian accent, but you do understand. I have much trouble to understand the typical australian english with all its slangs (such as mite instead of mate...etc).

  • what countreys is this? whoevers this is i like the english version better

  • @TheJimcat THERE IS NO ENGLISH VERSION!

  • thats they same guy that plays wilfred in the US version, yeah?

  • @z0mb13hunt3r9 yeah this is the original

  • so the american version is the one wid elijah wood as ryan? and the original australian version is adam? right?

  • @emorywomack yep

  • @TheBarryviper having fun using an American site on the American-made internet? you people wouldn't have television if we didn't allow you to ;)

  • @Monkeyboy92037 "we"? You are taking undue credit. You have the same amount of right as I do to take credit for the internet or television and I'm not even American.

  • @47643654 lol

  • Comment removed

  • @TheBarryviper that's a lie, but good try though!

  • @Monkeyboy92037 Television was invented by a Scotsmen called Logie Beard you ignorant American twat....

  • @Chipvw63 Baird

  • I LOVE WILFRED

  • Well the yanks do have a different sence of humor and don't understand alot of the aussie slang so of course they had to make an American version

  • I love this show. Although I have never seen the Australian version, it still looks pretty good since Jason Gann is a boss actor.

  • Just started watchin the american version of this, its so dumbed down its rediculous. Oh hey Americans wont understand this, lets cut out all the smart bits and spell everything out so our moronic population wont be confused.

  • I get an itchy arse at night...lmao

  • not funny , fucking americans are shit at this

  • @james111701 this is the australian version

  • @imnightcrazy22 ohh , i mean the americans one didnt know .

  • @james111701 This is Australian, you stupid chav.

  • @james111701 this is australian dick head!

  • This Sucks And It's Boring American Version Is Better By Far!

  • @Csnyder61 how?

  • Wilfred sure likes his DVD's.

  • Comment removed

  • Jason Gann's accent seems more pronounced in the Australian version of Wilfred... or is it just me?

  • How similer is the australian version to the US one ?

  • @aimalkhan123 its alot different more polished but they are still both funny as shit

  • are they all the same episodes, just one with Australian people and one with American people? or are they slightly different stories?

  • i ish i had a dog like that :D it would be well fun :D

  • I actually find this funny. Not LOL funny, I just like the idea and how it works out. I feel the humor does go beyond a dog smoking pot, contrary to what most "haters" suggest. I think the problem is people don't how to react if a tv comedy hasn't the "joke-story-joke" style most shows have. Therefore they struggle finding SOMETHING that could be funny, and get upset after they only see a dog smoking pot.

  • Wilfred: "Anger is like herpes. It's not meant to be kept to itself."

  • they forgot to pay the taxi driver

  • that's not how you hit a bong...

  • @advoasks

its a tv show. they probs would get introuble if it was too accurate/in detail.

  • @advoasks yes it is

  • @96aromaz nah, man. gotta clear it before you pass it.

  • How the hell does my gf watch this boring garbage D:

  • I don't understand how this is funny it's dull and boring. Oh haha he smokes pot (sarcastic)

  • @Snowpig21 Yeah, try watching the us version of wilfred. best show ever

  • srsly people like this boring crap?

  • no offense. yes, both are funny. love jason gann, but i think the american version is just better written. i couldnt understand all the comments on FB at firts about how clever the pot humor was, but after seeing some of the aussie version AND the american version, i can see a difference. i really hope this new version stays around. how long has it been running down under?

  • WHAT IS THE SONG PLAYING AT 4:00?

  • what the hell is that smokin drink stuff?

  • @Jdawg1798 weed

  • guy who plays wilfred the same actor in the australian one ?

  • @AdamCW2k5 Yeah, Jason Gann plays both Wilfred in the US and Australian version haha

  • 8 people dont have a sense of humor:(

  • @breakthechain888 How could it be better in every way possible? The American version has an actor I've actually heard of (Elijah Wood) Wilfred's teeth are fixed, and the episodes are way higher quality. As for the dialogue the American and the Australian versions have the same kind of stuff.

  • @iMAKEvids56 since when do big deal actors make a show good or not? i don't care for that frodo cunt. like i said - the american version is watered down, over-produced yuckiness, lost all it's charm. i'll keep watching it though, one or two half-hearted chuckles here and there.

  • the american version is just watered down rubbish. the australian version is infinitley better in every way possible.

  • @breakthechain888 A matter of opinion. I'm impartial as I'm from neither of those countries and honestly think the America one is funnier. YES the Aussie one is more subtle and I would generally say more my type of comedy, but the American one IS funnier even though the humour may be 'spoon fed' to the audience...

  • silence......"she's gone to the toilet."

  • ahaha, "this is a cornchip... not a nacho."

  • wilfred is better in america

  • haha, I get an itchy asss

  • I love this show, both Aussie and American!

  • this show is funnier with frodo.

  • Funny American version when the old guy like I suck your dick

  • who uses matches to smoke a bong WTF

  • @michaelmiller313 thats the part you have a question about? the fact that the dog talks and looks human doesnt concern you at all?

  • Both the Aussi and American versions of this show are hilarious! They are both funny in their own way. (:

  • thats why he has an australian accent...

  • Sub to FirstTeam4...we will make you happy....just like drugs

  • @MrNatFaz Because he co-created the show and I guess he wanted to stay involved.

  • DISCUSSION OVER AMERICA COPIES SHOWS FROM OTHER NATIONS TO IMPROVE THEIR MEDIA

  • @MrNatFaz because he does a good job

  • Instead of arguing which version is better I think we should all be happy that this essentially doubles the amount of Wilfred we get to watch :).

  • @VacantMinded agreed!

  • @VacantMinded I like the way you think

  • Love this show, both Aussie(thank you satellite tv) and the American version. Both are brilliant in their own way, just love Wilfred for who he is!!

  • bit the cunt

  • I just found out this was actually the short film before the show was done. I retract my previous statement

  • Obviously the Australian version was funny otherwise there wouldn't be an American version now. They have the same type of premise, but just from watching this clip and the last couple of episodes of the new American show, they're completely different shows really.

  • The American one is soo much more funny and less disturbing.

its on tonight episode 5 yaaaaaaaaaeh

  • @rapperboy2011 can you say that now after yesterdays episode? lol

wilfred: i dont have a god complex! I AM GOD! THUNDER *lighting crashes*

adam: how did you do that?

    wilfred: lucky coincidence!

  • now its on fx

  • Australian one isn't as funny as the American one.

  • @AirsoftMegaTTr14 Agreed, and i am an Aussie :p

  • @AirsoftMegaTTr14 um all the jokes are the same and it's the same Aussi dog.. the Aussi one is just more dark humour...

  • @AirsoftMegaTTr14 They're just different. They do different things well. The Australian one is a bit darker and more surreal. I'm really enjoying the American remake though.

  • Adam: "You didn't like Terry?" ...

Wilfred: " Bit the cunt." xD

  • american is better because of the actors

  • hilarious because its australian

but american its the dumbest idea for a show

  • i dont get it how does the dog smoke weed and play guitar

  • @davhaa : (

  • @davhaa Davhaa how does the dog not smoke weed and play guitar

  • damn the show is funny as hell american or not im hooked

  • this one is boring. the new one is better, plus elijah is a great actor.

  • stop the hate, really.

at least FX kept jason gann playing as the dog; but yet again, FX has a lot of good shows and tend to stay true to the stories, it's not that surprising.

either way, both versions are funny. end of story.

  • This video was soothing. I can go to sleep now.

  • Is the wilfred from the australian version the same as the one in the us version?

  • @4everaStone

Yea Wilfred is played by the same guy

  • what is the name of the song at 4:00?

  • both versions are good.

  • 7 people see a real dog

  • @johnnyhopkins890 lmfao Awesome!

  • @johnnyhopkins890 Doesn't everyone....?

  • hmm id like to watch these , and compare to the Elijah ones.. anyone seen both? which is better? i love the show, its hilarious.

  • is this one on dvd? cause i really want to watch it

i saw the US one and its pretty funny

  • australian version is so much funnnier than the american

  • Who plays the song at 4:01?

...and both Wilfred versions are the shit.

  • I laughed here more than the American one but they both are still good. They are different.

  • wanna watch a DVD?

  • wtf is wrong with people hating one show or the other just because one is Australian and one is American? Both of them are funny as ****

  • @MrSpartanAJ agreed

  • @MrSpartanAJ And both have the same Wildred....it's Applas and Oranges really, people do the same thing with The Office..

  • @MrSpartanAJ I have to agree with you!!!!

  • @MrSpartanAJ just the storyline

  • @MrSpartanAJ shit? Is that what you where trying to say? You know this is the internet and not an elementary school classroom right?

  • @MrSpartanAJ

I disagree. Though they both are quite amusing, the lighting for the Australian version (and most non-American, English-speaking country television programs, I find) are just dark, cut and dry, awful. Just saying. Lighting can make a big difference.

  • @GLaDOS123

Couldn't be more right, the actually cinematography for this version is awful.

  • @GLaDOS123 Thats because they didn't have a million dollar lighting rig. It was shot on location in a real house by a bunch of friends. Nevertheless the lighting feels authentic to that suburban environment and it also matches the more sinister tone of the Australian version. The American version is more up beat so you have this glossy sheen with over saturated colours - at the end of the day, screenplay and performance is what matters most

  • Anyone know the song?

  • its odd to see a remake with the same actor and as the same character

  • THIS GUY IS A FUCKEN GENIUS WILFRED IS THE BEST SHOW ON TV FUCK THAT REALITY TV BULLSHIT SMOKE A BLUNT AND KICK IT WITH YOUR FAVORITE DOG.

  • its the same actor he is also the creator

  • that looks like the same guy that plays the dog in the new one

  • haha, he's really got the dog down pat

  • Hilarious!

  • Anyone know what song is playing at 4:01 ?

  • @amelitaz Yes...who is the band?

  • i bit the cunt

  • What's the song @ 3:55?

  • This is a corn chip; not naochos

  • this seems like a really stupid show

  • You can't go wrong with more cheese

  • where are you all from...where ever it might be yall r lucky wilfred just premiered last night

  • @cierailli Wilfred has been a show since 2007 in Australia. The new one is a remake with the same Actor, who's also the Creator as Wilfred.

  • I just watched the American version and they stripped all of the darkness out of it - it's not terrible but it's short on laughs. Jason Gann's comic performance is toned way down, the script is a lot weaker.

  • @DingoBabyEat I know. We can show as much blood and gore as we want, but the minute theres the f-bomb, or anything sexual in nature, and everyone flips there shit.

  • @DingoBabyEat I would have to disagree comparing the first episodes of both shows. The script in the American version seemed stronger to me. Gann's perfomance was a little more blatant and obnoxious in the US version while a bit more devious in the Aussie. And the darkness in both are different. The US goes straight into a dark scenario while the Aussie version derived from lighting, lack of score, and comedic timing. So far, apart from the same jokes here and there, both are different shows.

  • @BossHossV8Cycles You can''t undervalue the things you just listed. There is a more claustrophobic intensity to the Australian version which is derived from the lighting and camera work. And I think there are more nuances in Gann's performance because he doesn't have to be mindful of an American audience not understanding his accent. US version invests more in character arc and motive but maybe they should have re-invented the dog as an American character because the interaction inst working
