This glitch happens because it runs on the same engine as oblivion, their previous game, which did this a lot. Happened the other day with a dead deathclaw.
When I had oblivion I couldn't get any farther in the game because one of the missions was broken and I also downloaded the knights of the nine and it didn't work either so I was pissed.

as if u dont already know there is a hidden sniper rifle in a rock on the east side of megaton it s obvious to spot

i hat it wen the screen has the gray flashes, they mested up on one of their random events and completely fucked the game.
