ERA is always a little decieving when looking at a reliever, they pitch very few innings compared to starters, you want to look at WHIP and K/BB

I think it's becasue his ball-controlling is not good enough to achieve the level of MLB. With his velocity and good control, he may stand in the MLB.

He played at Shadow Mountain High School in Phoenix also the same school as Mike Bibby Sacramento Kings.

no he had a 6.00 ERA with Colorado in 2004 but 20 saves with it's Triple A club.
