Thanks for the response. That helps me allot. I love Ralph Lauren, but I don't like the pony on everything. I have a few shirts that don't have the pony. Where can I get more Ralph Lauren polo shirts without the pony? Or what label is equal quality?

@slow2hood As you said there are a few things in Ralph Lauren that doesn't have the pony in them. For less logo I recommend you to try Brooks Brothers or L.L Bean. Both have great quality.

@slow2hood Preps can wear jeans as long as they are stright leg and classic like Levi's 501, 114 or Lucky Brand Jeans (Vintage Straight), these are just a few example. They shouldn't have any pattern, glitter, patches or anything just simple straight leg jeans.

@josephDX You can get the preppy look at a discount. You most certainly can get preppy clothing at the mainstream team and young adult shops, you just have to be careful not to get labelware. Labels aren't all that preppy especially the lower-end labels like Abercrombie and the like. Preps are educated, not stuck up, soft spoken and well mannered. Money is not to be discussed, political debate is encouraged generally, and the group is politically divided.

@josephDX Hey, Well 95% of this style comes from old money. But you can pull it off, also if you just goto J.Crew they have nice cheap things for you to buy. Most of all make sure in the spring/summer have a lime green polo 100% cotton on all cloths a light blue and almost pink a purple blue/yellow shorts. WIth winter go to peacoats and trenches in a camel or black. If you need anymore stores let me know ill help you. Btw high end cloths save for them we keep them for around 2years.

just one more thing i'd like to comment a bit of constructive criticism if you will, when i think of people wearing Hollister, Abercrombie, American Eagle and Aeropostale. I just think of tools and douchebags, maybe you should leave the triple A's and Hollister out of it next time. NOT an insult still a really good vid like i said, constructive.

Thank goodness that somebody on Youtube knows that Hollister, A&F, American Eagle are not Preppy. I get frightfully annoyed when people say they are, aswell as when people say Preps are stuck-up and elitist.
