this is clearly a doxie trait. My doxie named Coco does this as well. Sometimes the licking includes a small nibble with it. lol! very cute doxie

My weiner dog Millie used to do this all the time.She would go at it so much, you couldnt take a breath!! She also used to crawl up to the pillow next to your head and roll on her back and rub the side of her head on yours. I love my dog.

when bruno my dog was still a pup, he loved to sleep in my bedroom with me and my gf. problem is, he keeps me awake with his nature call's whining,- of course i'd have to wake up and open the toilet door for him. :)
