Do not ridicule Dr Ramachandran at the first place. After watching this video I realized that I lost 5 minutes of my precious time and one minute in posting this comment. SOFT ware does not have brain. So the You Tube software picked up this video under the tag "Dr Ramachandran" and made me to watch. Pl remove it for the benefit of sincere lovers of Science.

Though I must agree that having a short explanation of what you were trying to accomplish would have made it more interesting, i still saw your left pupil to be much more dilated in comparison to your right (left picture frame). was this to show an affect connected to the nasal canal as it's positioned according to right side/left side hemisphere of the brain?

I think she is trying to elicit nystagmus by massing with the fluid in the inner ear. By putting cold or hot water in, the endolymph moves with different speed and vestibular apparatus thinks you are spinning.
