growing up in san diego, the 6 lane freeways [or should i say "freeeways"?] are so comforting to me. and i say that with out a shred of irony. it's the sign that i'm on my way home. and i know most people may think that sounds incredibly backwards but being on the "freeeway" in SoCal just makes me relax. dense traffic, however, does not...although they seem to go hand in hand.

that's my favorite place on any LA freeway, with all the overpasses, especially when the sun is shining between. I always take a deep breath right there. Gives a feeling of overwhelming openness. Thanks Josh! More to come.

That was a weird sight, trash barrels lining the streets. We put ours on the sidewalks. Cute house, and I would have to say you may be a little bit closer than we are to our neighbors. I think our neighbors house is 10' from our property line on one side and about 6' on the other. Nice relaxing ride...thanks for the views.

With street parking, we have to put trash beyond the cars. Luckily we have a nice wide street. Living by our neighbors is like being in an apartment complex.
