well your hair isnt bad, forget what other people say, be who God created you to be, and if you want your hair like that, its ok. One tip, you have to find a balance of something becuase if your hair dies than thats it.. I had that issue, so its hard to bleach your hair, and flat iron, your killing it so it frizzes and dies, and it looks so dry. So cut it start over, it will grow back, after you relax it, Keep it looking the state it is in when you first did it. Good luck.

I have a relaxer too and my hair looks much better and much easier to spike. I put wax very generously all throughout my hair, then rinse it with water. While it's wet, I style it how i want (usually slick down the sides and spike the top) then use a blow dryer on low to melt the wax and set the style. Takes about 5 minutes and the style lasts 3 days. The trick with the relaxer is not to relax the new growth at the root. Your hair will naturally stand up that way.

OR, you should use a pomade when you wash it to make it easier to flat, iron and take your time when you straighten. Otherwise it will just look frizzy and that is not cool. =/ Frizzy is the enemy with these types of styles.

Dude I can tell that your hair is damage and dry, try adding olive cream or some other moiturizer to it before you sleep when you use it for like 3 nights you'll tell the difference and your hair will be silky I'm black and filipino I do the same thing
