OMG at 12pm this afternoon in Brisbane Australia, I heard these sky moanings. EXACTLY like the second sound in this clip. The really loud groaning, not the booms. I was cleaning my house, when I suddenly clicked, I had been hearing these sounds for quite a few minutes, I just hadn't paid attention. I stopped and listened, super duper excited, and then suddenly after I heard it about 15 times, at about 10-20second intervals, it stopped.
Ok the only thing I dont understand, besides the weird noises, is that in EVERY single vid no ones like "omg!!!! Wtf is that noise?!?! Is it the end ofthe world???!!!" I live in the Florida Keys, & on Jan 16 between 1 & 1:30 pm, my wife & I were sitting at the kitchen table conversing when all of a sudden we began to hear the same strange trumpets blaring from the sky. She looks at me & says "What the fuck was that"? I thought it was a truck squealing on it's breaks but we live 1/2 away from US 1. We go to see what it was & it was very cloudy, like in much of these recordings. The sound begins again & it was most definately coming from the sky. No joke!

I heard the sounds in the small town in West Virginia where I live back in October, 2011. Sounded like a giant steam locomotive. The sound lasted for a good 8 minutes as it seemingly went from one end of the hillside to the other end. That was at 3:00am. So far, I haven't heard it since. I'm kicking myself for not thinking to grab my camera and recorded it.
Just experienced this phenomena today in Bergen, Norway area. Sounded like tons of planes headed for a collision course over and over again like it was looped! It was accompanied by what I can best describe as a series of very loud metallic slams wich could be heard occasionally. I suspected this was some new internet hoax meme without much legitimacy but wow, this is getting interesting. Looking forward to some kind of explanation.

South-west outside of the city centre. I weren't in the center of the sound though, it was coming from the sky even further south, but it was about 1:00 at night so we could hear it clearly(still pretty loud). I agree more people must have heard it, but then again it "only" lasted about 5-6 min. Also if you happen to just catch a glimpse of it I guess you could have passed it off as really loud planes before you notice it just loops and loops, never fades nor changes location..

I live in the Florida Keys, & on Jan 16 between 1 & 1:30 pm, my wife & I were sitting at the kitchen table conversing when all of a sudden we began to hear the same strange trumpets blaring from the sky. She looks at me & says "What the fuck was that"? I thought it was a truck squealing on it's breaks but we live 1/2 away from US 1. We go to see what it was & it was very cloudy, like in much of these recordings. The sound begins again & it was most definately coming from the sky. No joke!

I heard the sounds in the small town in West Virginia where I live back in October, 2011. Sounded like a giant steam locomotive. The sound lasted for a good 8 minutes as it seemingly went from one end of the hillside to the other end. That was at 3:00am. So far, I haven't heard it since. I'm kicking myself for not thinking to grab my camera and recorded it.

Just experienced this phenomena today in Bergen, Norway area. Sounded like tons of planes headed for a collision course over and over again like it was looped! It was accompanied by what I can best describe as a series of very loud metallic slams wich could be heard occasionally. I suspected this was some new internet hoax meme without much legitimacy but wow, this is getting interesting. Looking forward to some kind of explanation.

South-west outside of the city centre. I weren't in the center of the sound though, it was coming from the sky even further south, but it was about 1:00 at night so we could hear it clearly(still pretty loud). I agree more people must have heard it, but then again it "only" lasted about 5-6 min. Also if you happen to just catch a glimpse of it I guess you could have passed it off as really loud planes before you notice it just loops and loops, never fades nor changes location..

This isnt happening in one part of the world its happening every where and at completly random times. It has been recordes in northern, southern, eastern and western countries.
